I know very little about construction and even less about excavators, but what fascinates me about these videos is the effortlessly natural way that Chris operates the machines. Watching the bucket and thumb move is like watching an animal feed, with Chris's joystick inputs so incredibly fast and nuanced it's as if he's just moving his own arm. Pretty sure he could use that 48" bucket to pop a bottle of champagne or caress a daisy.
It's such a pleasure to watch someone with your skill and work ethic move big stuff around. I only worked a few years in landscaping and only with hand-tools, though we did take down some big trees too but I can relate to the satisfaction at looking back over a hard day's work in the evening and fixing problems. These also work great to calm my anxieties.
Hey Chris, couple of T-shirt slogans for ya.. ‘ain’t nothin but a thing’..... and now from this video... ‘crunch-a-mundo’ Keep up the great work! Thanks for sharing your day with us!
*I've never worked with heavy equipment so I'm truly amazed how much power the 250 has when it's breaking up trees. I wish I could hire Chris for my backyard project. Thank you Chris for the daily videos. I look forward every day for a new video.*
The amount of power in that machine is simply awesome. Go out in the yard and grab a hold of a 1” sapling and try to rip it out of the ground. This thing is crunching through branches a foot or more around like tooth pics! Great content!
Size of those trees around it and across the front and back of the dam says it is an old pond. Just a new job for him. I am 45 minutes in and this looks like it's going to be at least a two part, maybe three.
Looks like a great plan! My friend over north of Amarillo, Tx complained his natural springs dried up and his creek that used to flow had dried up and never came back. Now droughts are common there and it’s arid, but the springs would keep the creek flowing. In the rainy season it was full but then it would die off once the rains were gone. He learned that it was the trees causing it. Salt Cedars soak up several gallons a day. They’re kind of a scrappy tree and he cleared them all out. The springs flowed nicely and the creek went back to its normal flow. Trees can affect bodies of water for sure!
You know a machine is heavy when you can see the camera vibrate some when the machine is moving around like 100ft away. Have always been impressed with the 250's power, especially when it can pluck bigger trees out like they're weeds in sandier soils. Good to see it back in action.
I enjoy seeing the finesse you achieve with your machines. It would be great if you ever have the time to do a before & after video that shows ponds after a season or two, after they have recovered from raw construction, maybe with new groundcover, etc.
Thats what I get for watching it on a big screen! The 1st big pine tree that you took down, and it was falling toward the camera...I actually hurt my neck trying to get out of the damn way, and you knocked me over with the wind from it anyway! lol. Then after I recovered, you took the 2nd one down, and I was trying to dodge flying pine cones! Almost as good as having a virtual reality headset on!! hahaha
Yes I agree but I don’t think he has anything to do with that. I have a CI and do mostly lip reading and with the camera always facing away it’s sometimes hard to keep up. But then the action is what drew me to the channel in the first place.
Saint Louis in the house and enjoying another video I always give up thumbs up before I watch the video cuz I know where I'm going to see some good work done
This is my favorite type of video! I love the pond work and dredging. I can’t believe that you don’t have the tree police after you when you clear out the huge trees. Although I do hate to see those huge hard wood Oakes come down.
with all them trees in the pond that is a carpers paradise, big carp love hiding in the trees and carpers love fish to the trees. thats how we love it in theUK.
man that is a lot of big trees looks like you going to have a big bornfire get some hot dogs have fun , looks great and younot even finished . See you on the next one Chris
Well done. I thought it was pretty good, how the sun started to come out as the overgrowth went down, time to smile and say "Yep, planned it that way." 😁
Wow that excavator is powerful! It ripped down those huge pine trees with ease!!!!! Also it’s great that you are able to burn all of the wood waste on site to eliminate trucking costs! Great job!!
I've been binge watching to catch up on your vids. All the small machines all have a purpose but the 250 is like having the Hulk at your disposal! It just doesn't swim well.
Damn Chris you got some skill bringing those thumpers down man, like watching you skill those bad boys, awesome content man, loved it, great work and thanks for sharing bud.
The bucket breaking through the trees , reminds me of Jurassic Park and the T Rex, I see all the wood and think how great it would be for my fireplace. Well some of it anyway.
I have little to no experience with large machinery, but I know enough that when someone makes it look easy that's evidence of expertise. Great content 👌.
There is something about dropping trees that is fun. After watching you and dirt perfect, I was able to drop some trees to clear a fence row. My 248b cat skid is fun but running a big 220 would be fun to drop them.
You are very skilled at what you do! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
oooh, really liked the replay, from a different angle, of pushing the trees over. Excellent watching. Thanks. Blessings.

Hey Chris, thanks for putting-up these longer videos, very enjoyable to watch.

You and your crew work very good together
Congratulations on 250 Chris

Keep up the great work! Thanks for sharing your day with us!
Evening all from the UK.
Good evening Clive ,, nearly as much rain here in UK as there ....
Afternoon from US.
Evening dark misty wet North Yorkshire 😂
Condolences in your recent lockdown.
Evening from Donegal ireland rain here as normal lol.

Always nice to watch a true Pro at work, but I glad it's not a rainforest! Regards from an English man, retired in Italy
I feel like if this man moved to the desert. Ponds would start showing up.
Chris could turn the sahara desert in to the sahara lake or ocean lol
Either that or he'd find the _only_ outcrop of granite in the middle of a swamp lol
He’d definitely find mud!
Fucking good ones too!
That's a good thing
Just makes one smile each time a limb snaps.... Nice video... 😀
As a retired US Army Combat Engineer I really appreciate an artist with heavy equipment.

Love the different camera angles and this is definately a spectator sport. You're one badass operator. Thank you!
That Volvo 250 is a Beast and made Quick work of that Snack of a Tree and Quickly Devoured it. 😬
Good evening to everyone from Germany at 11:37 pm. Gisela 🙋♀️
The pond looks like a heart. Interesting! 😍
I love watching a skilled man and this cannot be taught in a class room. I find it quite soothing to watch, I'm strange like that( a 64 yr old woman).
Its not strange..my mom 89 years old has been watching for 3 yrs since i showed her a video and loves chris and how he operates these machines 👍🙂
Have to love a 250....something very satisfying about picking up a very large tree and moving it!!
You are a really efficient operator who is kind on equipment and machinery
Nice work. Looking better. Glad you got a sunny day to work. We had a tornado in Alabama, when it warms up in winter we have bad weather here.
Chris those are some pretty big trees. You never slow down, you just get it done. Thanks for sharing. Kevin
Love it when I get the notification and see the words “New pond”
Size of those trees around it and across the front and back of the dam says it is an old pond. Just a new job for him. I am 45 minutes in and this looks like it's going to be at least a two part, maybe three.
"New Pond" means new job which means "NEW FIRE 🔥" LOL
@@maryschillinger2909 this is true lol

Fascinating watching you work. I could watch you make that bucket dance for hours, oh, I just did. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for closed captioning on your last couple videos. Much appreciated!

I supprised he does not have the government after for messing with water ways and bird nesting sites.
You're without a doubt the best and smoothest heavy equipment operator I've ever seen!

“Clearing the trees” that’s code we gonna have a big fire 🔥
Just look at all that brush! Just LOOK AT IT!!
Warren Otey
I’m looking, I’m looking! Geez.
letsdig18 starts new channel.........letsburn18.
I think Chris is a fire bug
Start stocking up on Marshmallows and beer and soda will have a fire in a couple week
Watching this is so therapeutic
Hello from Texas. Great videos/great work
Oh how we've missed you clearing with the 250. Thanks for posting what and how and why it's done that way
Enjoyed the video Chris with the 250 Volvo .
Thank you for making your videos, they lift me up when I am blue...
Why am I so fascinated by these videos? Maybe because I have been watching construction/digging/etc as a little kid...
The jobs that you do are great I love the finish jobs that you and your employee does. It started as a mess and then it look like paradise
That 250 makes quick work of those big trees, saves a lot of time.
Your are making that place look good
Thanks for sharing! I’m sure you’ll have it looking like new in few hours of work.
Well ,Chris, you can make that bad boy work, stay safe my friend.
That brush pile is going to make an awesome fire. Can’t wait for that video
That take down at 40:00 was mint, full tree swung right over perfectly! Hey from Emma UK
i started watching your videos while working. it is so relaxing and so interesting at the same time. I am so glad I found this channel!
Looking Good, can't wait to see it all tidied up 👍🌲🌳🌲👍
Always good to see the 250 in action
man that is a lot of big trees looks like you going to have a big bornfire get some hot dogs have fun , looks great and younot even finished . See you on the next one Chris
Well done. I thought it was pretty good, how the sun started to come out as the overgrowth went down, time to smile and say "Yep, planned it that way." 😁
Eee, that's going to be one BIG fire when you get to light it up. 😁
Some of those Gum Tree branches were kinda sticky...😉 Loads of snap, crackle and crunch in this one Chris.... great video.. thanks... 😊
I love watching the 250 crunch those trees!
Nothing more relaxing that listening trees going snap, crackle and pop.
It almost put me to sleep.
That’s going to be a heck of a burn pile brother! I love the damage the 250 dishes out, those branches are huge and just crunch! lol good video Chris
I have enjoyed all the big boulder work you have done at the animal hospital.
You know Chris is taking down big trees. When the wind from them hitting the ground. Nocks the camera over. Lol God bless
The wind from the tree-fall blowing over the camera was a neat effect!
Great video Chris. Making it look better. Thanks for all you do.
Awesome Beutiful Place Working Video, Your Every Video Nice Brother Keep it up Brother 🙏
Wow that excavator is powerful! It ripped down those huge pine trees with ease!!!!! Also it’s great that you are able to burn all of the wood waste on site to eliminate trucking costs! Great job!!
Had nothing to do so I watched this. Reminds me of my HE days, fell asleep in 5 mins. Good work
This makes me wish I was on another machine to meet up with you, this kind of job is fun to do !!!!!
Chris is going to do such a great job at cleaning this overgrown pond that the pond next to this one will be the next project
Yes! Finally! I missed the 250 😍
Pleasure to watch it snap big trees like they're little twigs.
That 250 is a BEAST! Love watching that machine.
Love wn u leave the camera outside n we could actually hear the crack n of the trees... 👍🌲
The 250 is amazing, and your skill with it is also amazing 👍
Always enjoy... The just outside in front of the cab is always the best view.. especially when you're clearing with the 250.
This is going to be an epic burn pile! Lovin the crunching sounds! Thanks
I think you need to do some more recovery’s! Seems to be a hit 😂 Over 5 million views is impressive! Either way keep up the badass work you do 💪🏼
Right?
Almost worth it to rent something big and then sink it on purpose, just for the recovery videos at this point.
5.4M views on that video do more of the recovery vids Chris
Always nice to see the 250. Big girls like to party too
It’s nice from sky view. Enjoy your videos.
Very weird, I like watching this work performed on a damp day as opposed to a hot dry dusty ass day.
Good work man!
Cheers from Louisiana.
It's so much fun to see how you work with heavy machinery and it makes me want to do it later when I can.
Really like the special effects that you put into the video! Pretty neat how you made the tree push the camera over!!😁🤣
I have a funny feeling Chris is going have a fire. Big enough to contact life on other planets when he is done. Lol God bless
Hot DIGgety dog! We have another crunchy pond digging video! This made my night! 😊 ❤
I've been binge watching to catch up on your vids. All the small machines all have a purpose but the 250 is like having the Hulk at your disposal! It just doesn't swim well.
Hello hello to UK. Don’t forget the leaf blower
I grew up and live less than a mile from there and in my 29 years that pond has never held water for long.
Big trees on a pond dam = problems, and clearly theres a bunch of them that’s been there well over 40 years
Aha! So that's why the big tress gotta go. Sort of a shame, tho. It's like big trees earned the right to stay there.
By the "red clay" reference, his accent, the countryside, I'm guessing he is in Georgia ?
@@stevejette2329 Thats middlesex NC. Ga is not the only place with red clay. We are right on the transition line into the coastal plain
Chris, you make me smile with these problems you solve! Love watching you!
It's nice to see the drone in action again.
I have little to no experience with large machinery, but I know enough that when someone makes it look easy that's evidence of expertise. Great content 👌.
Just another fine pond dam video !! Thanks !!
Big John out there putting the saw to work
Great video bro I enjoyed your placing of the outside cameras and the incab commentary. Safe travels
This video was great putting the camera out in front of the tree was very cool nice job fun to watch
Its a pleasure to see you work. I become relaxed.
AWESOME VIDEO BROTHER! 👍🏻👍🏻
Puts into perspective the size of some those trees based on the bucket!!💪
Apparently there are times it's beneficial to bring the bring the big girl to the dance.
There is something about dropping trees that is fun. After watching you and dirt perfect, I was able to drop some trees to clear a fence row. My 248b cat skid is fun but running a big 220 would be fun to drop them.
52:13 all those little pine trees - reminds me of the game "Pixy Sticks" (yep, I am an old guy). Of course, on a whole different level.
Awesome video, and very, very interesting and entertaining.. tks
Who wouldn't want one of those machines to do that kind of work !! Pure envy.
When u find the leak ill bet it has something to do with the bigger tree roots.
