This plays during the climax of the second film and during a tense scene in season 4. It is by far one of my favorite OSTs in anime.

As many here have recommended, "you say run" from the My HeroAcademia ost and one of the best songs it has
Season 4, first half, end of the arc. Arc focused on rescuing that horned girl. Final battle. Not telling you more, because it´s epic and the song is totally deserved.

Ooh, this is a legendary soundtrack. It was one of the most touching and fascinating moments in the anime under this OST. I also recommend the soundtrack of You Say Run.

Like when I had just watched mha through once, I heard this song and it immediately brought me back to the movie. And someone else had to remind me it was in season 4. Probably because in the movie they play this beautiful masterpiece without any sound effects, just pure music. That music made me cry to the fight and I had never cried to a fight before. Unless someone died ofcourse u know

At first, the anime greets you with funny moments and interesting battles. But the further away, the more serious the situation becomes and there are moments in which you can really cry from the influx of emotions. At the same time, each season has its own episodes with unforgettable emotions.
I've heard it's a great one to watch! Definitely on my list 💯

For real Overhaul was awesome and I even liked the rest of the season but it felt like the fanbase just likes to bitch alot anime onlys not so much but the manga readers are insufferable and I read the manga its an adaptation some moments hit better in the anime and some in the a manga its just how it is I appreciate for what it is
I'm also a Star Wars Indiana Jones Wheel of Time and Artemis Fowl fan My Hero Academia fans have no legs to complain about anything on it could've been so much worse

If you want anymore My Hero Academia OSTs then I would recommend You Say Run, it’s probably closer to what you excepted Might U to be. And Hero Too, Hero A, and Watashi Ga Kita(I Am Here in English AKA All Might’s theme) I would recommend as well.

This song is featured two times in the anime in the form of two different versions of the song. Once in the anime and in the second movie. Hearing this in the theater for the movie hit different.
A shortened version also plays in Season 6 during Episode 126.

My Hero is definitely a great show all around. Fun, wholesome moments but also plenty emotional/dark moments. It’s a show that continues to grow and evolve each season, getting deeper as it goes on. Cant wait for the day you finally watch 🔥
Yes, the only downside of the whole series is the 5th (i think season).
5th is better if you binge and I won't talk about cut content but as far as the 3 major backstories they covered in MVA I was pretty satisfied with all of them the one with origin in the title was phenomenal as those episodes with that subtitle tend to be

Horikoshi only faced severe criticism (death threat included or not, I'm not sure) over endeavor's redemption arc and the evil dr's name. I'm talking public outlash in Japan that Horikoshi had no choice but to address. To a much lesser extent, there was an outcry from western fandom when c364 happened. But that was limited to people tagging him in twt posts and being embarrassing, including death threats. While abhorrent, I doubt he saw or cared about any of them.

Another user that understand Mighty U is a motif of You Say Run, I felt like I was the only one xD it was just obvious, as the song played I instantly tought "wait, is this another version of You say run... also with vocals?"
Now imagine this only playing at the most peak moments, no sound effects or explosions, just this music and watching an incredibly animated fight go along with it. YOU MUST watch my hero because it is fantastic
This song had me legit bawling during the scene it's played.
When the vocals end and it just full on instrumental as the fight goes pure sakuga till the final impact was perfection in the movie
I think My Hero really captures what it means to be a hero and the many different hardships that come with it.
Both Might U and Tanjiro no uta from Demon Slayer came out relatively close to one another. They are both absolutely amazing and someone actually made a mash up of both on youtube.
Might U is meant to be the song for the second movie but they also used it in season 4 and I think it worked even better for that.
Might U is what you can call epic. It is so fitting for the scene where this plays and a really great masterpiece.

You say run and might u literally gives you the tone of the anime, it's lighthearted sometimes, epic sometimes, and I don't cry much with anime but mha has made me cry
There's actually another version of this song you should really react to sometime.
It's the preface for A Charity verison of "You Say Run" that was performed by many RUclips Musicians and many of the English Voice actors of My Hero Academia during covid, with all proceeds donated to charity.
That particular version almost always makes me tear up.

My Hero Academia has some amazing soundtracks. You Say Run & Jet Set Run are really good hype songs to listen to, and Hero Too is a very good song in general.

My hero Academia definitely has a good mix of being light hearted and emotional. And it completely earns those moments by giving you enough time and reason to fall in love with the cast and care about what is going on.

I've been looking forward to seeing you react to this one! There are several moments when this song pops up, across the show and the movies. Sometimes the theme lurks in the background of some scenes, and so it has that emotional pull for anyone who has heard the original. I've definitely cried watching it played in context, and I found myself tearing up watching you experience it for the first time. I'm so glad you liked it!

It helps that the few times it plays it's incredibly impactful.
This track's scene goes so hard. The fight is one of the best in the entire anime. The arc for that season had me in shock the whole way through. My Hero Academia can get pretty gruesome, it hits the realities of a superhero society.
Ohhh this OST in particular was banger as it bangs at your heart...it was so so good it was used twice...once in the movie which makes u stay silent and keep your butt planted on the seat and in the anime itself...it hits different which will make a grown man tear up...both scenes was very different and the OST gives so much impact
This song pops up at a pivotal point in season four and in the climax of the second movie, and I was an emotional mess both times.
It's a series inspired by western comics. So there's ups and downs. There's light hearted moments and some dark moments as well. Sometimes it gets really dark . Especially later in the second half of the story.
I like how you not just hear the song but read and feel the lyrics that is why song can bring an emotional😁

Is yes, there are some very dark moments in the anime :)
For a happier MHA OST, I would suggest _Hero too._ The song is performed by Chrissy Costanza, the lyrics written by Ayapeta (あやぺた), and the music was composed by Yuki Hayashi. It's important because its effectively the follow up to Might+U which plays during the rescue of a pure soul's body and Hero too plays during the rescuing of her soul.

Definitely one of the best moments in the entire show, possibly even in the top 3. I personally think you would like this show a lot. It's fun, it's dark, it's wholesome, it's a bit cheeky, and it has some of the best action scenes in Anime.

Oh we finally got this one. Was on the stream when it was voted for so im surprised it took that long but still never mind. This song is for real really good. It is goosebumps inducing for me. It is well known in the anime comunity cause it slaps so hard. Ou yea sorry for not being on the streams so often recently got bad net on my accomodation right know for work so the streams are unwatchable :D even YT is hard to watch. Another fantastic one from MHA is "You Say Run", which is rather iconic, and sometimes memed upon with how well it does at building hype. An example I can think of is someone putting the song over someone walking against strong winds or something lol.

Yah this is a great song! Funny enough I didn't notice it in the show, I noticed it when I saw the second movie in the theater. After that, I found out it was in show and had to go watch it again. Like other people have suggested You Say Run is a must! Great reaction!

My hero academia has one of the best soundtracks to a anime show.
My Hero is an anime that covers all the bases in terms of an emotional journey. The longer it goes on the more mature those emotions get. When a show can grow with you it becomes a great show.
People can say what they want about disliking certain shows for silly reasons but MHA is a must watch.
When it came on during the episode (first time listening) I was literally stunned by this track. Epic
Yeah MHA’s head composer, Yuki Hayashi, is an absolute MASTER at what he does. His arrangements and writing choices are sublime and always perfectly capture the heart of the moment/series he’s composing for.
I'm happy your reacting to more of my favorite anime. My Hero Academia was a nice happy show at the start and currently is in a very dark stage of it's story.

I cried a lot when I heard this song played in the anime. It was there only twice and both times were very emotional battles. I think that's why it hits so hard, it's at aa point where the heroes are losing and the only thing keeping them fighting is hope and need to protect others, even if they may die. That's a lot of this show, but when this song comes on, you just know it's bad for them. You need to react to My hero academia! It's so good. Also You say run is amazing.
