Rengoku is proof that you dont need to spend much time with a character to fall in love with them. Even before this extra episode, the movie made me care a great deal for him within his first 10 minutes on screen. Crazy how that works!
"Someone meets me and immediately eats my food... we are not friends." I mean, if you just threw the food at his face like the girl did, I think him eating it is more than fair.
The first episode that you watched here is not part of the movie, as it’s anime only. The movie is the rest of the episodes and thus the whole arc. Though you’ve already seen the movie by now, so I guess it makes sense now right? 😭
32:10 this is a ANIME ONLY content this episode was made alone by the studio to add to the character because the original story in manga lacks side characters development and they make the anime 3 times better thanks to that. Bento=Lunchbox (including the box itself)... you can put in it whatever you can fit in the actual box... As long as it makes sense in food to go... you normally wouldn't fit soup into the bento box...
12:44 GASP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's Japanese's boxed lunches! it's common for train stations to sell them because train rides can get long. Bento in general is just like when kids bring lunch to school
I am a Japan person who likes anime and railroads. The ekiben sold in Japan is much more cold. The reason is that ekiben with a heating function is made so that there are few parts that can be put food because the container is large due to the heating device, and ekiben is made so that it can be eaten deliciously in a cold state. There are similar sukiyaki ekiben that Rengoku used to eat all over the country. At Tokyo Station, there is Gyumeshibentou or Gyunikudomannaka (especially Gyumeshibenntou may be closer to Rengoku's bento), and there is also Omisukiyakibentou at Shin-Osaka Station.
Bento is a traditional Japanese food culture. Simply put, it means a box filled with a variety of side dishes. It is made at home as a lunch box and taken to school or work. It is also sold at supermarkets and convenience stores. It is also used for various annual events and funerals. There are many specialty shops. In addition, large stations have long sold many types of original bento boxes called ekiben, which are very popular with travelers. You can enjoy the local specialties and cuisine of the area.
episode 1 is basically an anime original content which blends well with the main plot and this episode should give more context on what kind of person Rengoku is
This is perfect! Basically the 7 episodes are just the movie but split up. And with a few bits of improved animations and tisho era secrets (plus the new intro). EXCEPT this first episode, its all new conent. So none of it will be repeted in the movie! We want you to watch the movie instead because it's more of an experience and has a bigger emotional impact (Also it's how alot of demon slayer fans experienced the mugen train arc) CANNOT WAIT FOR THE MOVIE REACTION ❤
one thing about every demon slayer character (but doesn't really apply to tanjiro and rengoku): the author will make you hate them and then drop the biggest plot twist of them being the best person ever.
Funny thing you will love each and every hashira who you think are bastards the same way when they will come in the story.(Yes even the two cocky ones who hit the kamado siblings)
I love and hate how accurate his take on British food is like in general. I lived there for two years so I know a bit of what the food their is like and he’s not wrong.
You have to rewatch ep1 after the movie and make a video about it Luke! It's gonna be sogood watching it again after the movie! Pleaseee! Pretty please😊 Especially the ending scene with the hashira thoughts
I am looking forward to the movie reaction since halfway through season one. Rengoku is my favorite Hashira, so I am hyped to see you react to the movie on Wednesday!
i'm sure hundreds of comments explained and you seem to have understood, but just in case it helps: the train arc was first released as a movie, then also released as an 7 episode season. the episodic version's first episode is great anime-original content that was also not in the movie version. some call the episodic version "season 2" and the next season (entertainment district arc) "season 3", while others count the movie and call the _latter_ "season 2". so after the movie, you'll watch the entertainment district arc which is 11 episodes.
Please dont cut anything in the reaction! I was waiting for this reaction my whole life! LETS GOOO!! You will love this movie with a big smile like how we did❤
As a little fun fact, the reason Rengoku shouts “delicious” after every bite is because of an old tradition with samurai who were taught to savour every bite of their meal as it could be the last they have, something rengoku clearly holds up to alot. I love the addition of that tradition with him, just how positive he is with it all too.
*_U M A I!_* i think they split the movie up into episodes for people who were unable to go see the movie in theaters?? but ep 1 is like someone else said a prologue, might be anime original? unsure tbh s'good content though also i will forever gush about the animation of him sheathing his sword like COME ON
Episode 1 of the"mugen train" arc wasn't part of he movie, its content was skipped in the movie but they decided to add it for the episodes. Bento is just "lunch box" in japanese. Also, Luke said he "loved" Rengoku, god efing damn it 🤣

Ufotable is such a good studio man... When you thought animation couldn't get better it gets much better after season 1!
"Set your heart ablaze"🔥🔥🔥❤🔥
;-; Your reactions make the wait for the new movies less painful. Thank you!
Damn it. Everyone get off that train!!!
rengoku is the goat
Oh no the Luke curse has been activated 9:45
"I was really worried about a spoiler in the end, so I deliberately watched it anyway" lmao
Ah British food. Whatever food we're making, we don't add any herbs or spices, just the tiniest amount of salt 😂
Oh JFC,the movie is happening. Luke...........
Set your f**king heart ablaze.
episode 1 is basically an anime original content which blends well with the main plot and this episode should give more context on what kind of person Rengoku is
This is perfect! Basically the 7 episodes are just the movie but split up. And with a few bits of improved animations and tisho era secrets (plus the new intro). EXCEPT this first episode, its all new conent. So none of it will be repeted in the movie! We want you to watch the movie instead because it's more of an experience and has a bigger emotional impact (Also it's how alot of demon slayer fans experienced the mugen train arc)
CANNOT WAIT FOR THE MOVIE REACTION ❤
watching this movie again is gonna kill me...again
one thing about every demon slayer character (but doesn't really apply to tanjiro and rengoku): the author will make you hate them and then drop the biggest plot twist of them being the best person ever.
Rengoku and Tomiyoka are my favorite Hashiras. Also season 2 is gonna blow ur mind. Easily one of the best anime seasons in anime history.
Bro this movie is Amazing and you're going to have an amazing experience.
3:55 btw that's Rengoku's theme playing in tge background.
Their fish and chips are really good though. Got to give credit where credit is due.
24:25 eeeyyy, another Supernatural fan! Glad to know that about you Luke 😁
You have to rewatch ep1 after the movie and make a video about it Luke! It's gonna be sogood watching it again after the movie! Pleaseee! Pretty please😊
Especially the ending scene with the hashira thoughts
All I have to say is : UMAI! 🗣️🔥
Also a lot of people often forget it but Rengoku is his last name, his actual name Kyojuro. Kyojuro Rengoku is his full name.
So excited for ur mugen train reaction😭💜💜💜💜✨✨ and everyone loves rengoku sannn 💜💜💜
Damn can't wait for the Movie.. already want to cry as you loves and praise Him a lot..
I am looking forward to the movie reaction since halfway through season one. Rengoku is my favorite Hashira, so I am hyped to see you react to the movie on Wednesday!
i'm sure hundreds of comments explained and you seem to have understood, but just in case it helps:
the train arc was first released as a movie, then also released as an 7 episode season. the episodic version's first episode is great anime-original content that was also not in the movie version.
some call the episodic version "season 2" and the next season (entertainment district arc) "season 3", while others count the movie and call the _latter_ "season 2". so after the movie, you'll watch the entertainment district arc which is 11 episodes.
The animation will even get better and better! 😌
There are red flags in this episode Luke... boy are there red flags.
Just be sure, no matter what, to set your heart ablaze.
Please dont cut anything in the reaction! I was waiting for this reaction my whole life! LETS GOOO!! You will love this movie with a big smile like how we did❤
This bento contains stewed beef over rice.
Ampan is a treat, which contains sweet stewed beans inside the bun.
Bro is loving the animation already...i wonder how he'll react to entertainment district arc episode 17
Rengoku is definitely one of the most loved hashira in my opinion. :)
If u like rengoku this much you are gonna love the movie
This got me in the mood to wear my Rengoku shirt today 😎❤️🔥
5:16 Helck is probably the biggest example of this ;-;
Yes I had no doubt you would love Rengoku. One of the best hashiras
*_U M A I!_*
i think they split the movie up into episodes for people who were unable to go see the movie in theaters?? but ep 1 is like someone else said a prologue, might be anime original? unsure tbh s'good content though
also i will forever gush about the animation of him sheathing his sword like COME ON
It is that. The movie did not give much info on the flame guy. Plus it do show how they all meat up for the mission.
It is anime only content and it helps set up the movie and introduces you to Rengoku and also gives him more screen tike after.. well you know.
Episode 1 of the"mugen train" arc wasn't part of he movie, its content was skipped in the movie but they decided to add it for the episodes.
Bento is just "lunch box" in japanese.
Also, Luke said he "loved" Rengoku, god efing damn it 🤣
