There's never been a movie or show that had Tucci in it that he didn't immediately elevate the whole production. His family banter in Easy A is one of my favorite of his performances. He isn't in it a whole lot, but he steals every scene he's in.

It was a voice-mail since it was obvious Natalie never answered his calls much and only called when convenient for her. She probably never really heard the voicemail he left while he was at the wedding. Doesnt justify cheating but alas...he probably honestly thought Natalie would never be coming back hahaha

That song was amazing, HOWEVER... It felt like it didn't belong in the movie. It sorta felt like she was about to release an album and that this was a song for her album and they shoved it in.
This movie made me a fan of Christina. I never knew she could like this. Her pop music does a really poor job of showcasing her voice. It was funny because I thought the opening number was a voice over when I first watched this so it wasn't until she sang tough lover and my jaw hit the floor that the power of her voice really hit me.

I just wished they’d let Kirsten Bell’s character nicky sing because she’s insanely talented too. She was created as a weird angry secondary character, where they started to flesh her out but stopped? Like if you’re going to make Nicky the previous ‘stare’, at least show is why she ran the roost 😂 the odd fleeting number doesn’t really well it lmao.

Christina beat the "curse of Disney" and went on to deliver a voice full of soul and strength. I have always loved Cher, who has never had a conventional voice, but has the ability to pull people to her and has always been inclusive to everyone. She is the epitome of a true performer.
Hannah: "I stopped breathing" Me: "I know right!?" I had the same reaction when she belted out that first line and it still happens to me like 90% of the time when I watch this film. I love it!
Cher's "you haven't seen the last of me" is my favourite moment from the movie and throughout the entire video I couldn't wait to get to it! It's just so powerful..

If you check out Christina's album, Back to Basics, it really dives into the her soul centre of her love of the blues and jazz (opening number for this movie was none other than her fav: Etta James). Burlesque shows a lot of her love of that style of music in a musical movie which is also perfect for Cher's lower and yet powerhouse register!!!
Cher and xtina are both amazing in this movie. I love Kristen Bell as the mean girl. It is a shame she didn't get to sing, though. Her voice is so bright and different compared to Christina and Cher, it would have been a wonderful contrast. Especially if Kristen and Christina did a vocal battle on the stage. On another note, You should do a reaction to Diana Ankudinova if you want to hear another contralto. You'll be amazingly shocked by her control and rich voice.
My mom had me and my sister watch it, and I was not expecting bell to play a character as she did, but its a nice change from the innocent characters shes played before

I have adored this movie since the first time I saw it just after it was released. I watch it at least 4 times a year and I just cannot sit still 😊 Christina is magnificent and Cher is Cher, you don't need to say anymore. Stanley Tucci is rhe most wonderful, loving, funny, warm presence and is PERFECT for the role. The costumea, the choreo, the music, the "good guys win" ending. I just LOVE it so much

Oh my god I'm so glad you watched this!!!!! Burlesque is one of my top two comfort movies (the other one is Legally Blonde), I've seen it literally dozens of times. The costumes, makeup and dancing is gorgeous and let's not even TALK about the music!! Christina is the queen, but Cher is the Empress. I'm so happy you had a great time with this movie! :D when I listen to this with headphones on the music never fails to give me goosebumps, it is SO good. ....so good that I even accept the lackluster love interest. xD Honestly, the movie is perfectly fine if shest with neither of the guys at the end. (Now, Ali being cuckoo for Coco on the other hand.... XD never forget who drew her into the club in the first place)

I love that you referenced Coyote Ugly!! I watched it after having been recommended by god knows whom and years afterwards I thought it was a fever dream because I couldn’t remember the name or find it anywhere. Then, years later I somehow got a hold of it once again and watched it a second time. I’m glad someone else remembers that this movie exists.

I totally understand the cringe-factor to the dialogue and writing but my friends and I love this movie. It is such an iconic girls night movie. It makes me sing, it makes me smile, and it makes me dance. That is plenty for me. Also, Cher and Christina? They could make just about anything and I will watch just to hear them sing.
This is one of the great campy, feel good on a weekend movies in all the best ways. I do wish we had more of Cher singing - dare I ask, even a duet with Christina? - but the entire soundtrack still slaps.

This is one of my absolute favourite movies, I've always loved Christina and have always loved singing her songs, to the point I'm the only one who will sing her songs at karaoke. I love singing "Somethings got a hold on me" "welcome to burlesque" "bound to you" and "haven't seen the last of me" and if my Karaoke host has it I'd LOVE to sing "Show me how you burlesque" I can actually do the runs that she does and it always shocks the people at the bar. It's one of the best movie/musical scores to sing ❤
I feel a big part of the industry is so jealous of Christina. She doesn’t get enough recognition (not that she needs it but we fighters would love that). Her legacy will remaln among us forever.

I love Burlesque too!! I started having mixed feelings about Aly and Jack the more I watch it as an adult. I just sorta feel like Jack got off the hook WAY too easily at the end lmao. Other than that, still a great movie! 😆❤️🖤

I was like 11 when I watched this movie for the first time and the chokehold it had and still has on me is crazy. This movie is so iconic and it deserved more recognition.
The first time I saw this movie at the theater, i walked straight out of the theater and into the beauty supply store across the hall and bought several eyeliners and have worn it everyday since. I loved the makeup in this movie as much as the singing & dancing!!! 😂

I saw this in theaters with my mom and the whole audience was a mix of millennials like me there for Christina and women in their sixties or so there for Cher. And we all had a great time.

I have adored this movie since the first time I saw it just after it was released. I watch it at least 4 times a year and I just cannot sit still 😊 Christina is magnificent and Cher is Cher, you don't need to say anymore. Stanley Tucci is rhe most wonderful, loving, funny, warm presence and is PERFECT for the role. The costumea, the choreo, the music, the "good guys win" ending. I just LOVE it so much
I saw this one in theaters, more than once, and I don't regret the money! There's nothing like having the entire room filled with sound as you watch Christina and Cher on a giant screen.

Cher and Christina in one movie is absolutely killer. They are absolutely amazing and were the best casting option for the characters they play i honestly cant imagine anyone else playing Allie and Tess. They are icons and have such killer vocals.

Oh my god I'm so glad you watched this!!!!! Burlesque is one of my top two comfort movies (the other one is Legally Blonde), I've seen it literally dozens of times. The costumes, makeup and dancing is gorgeous and let's not even TALK about the music!! Christina is the queen, but Cher is the Empress. I'm so happy you had a great time with this movie! :D when I listen to this with headphones on the music never fails to give me goosebumps, it is SO good.
....so good that I even accept the lackluster love interest. xD Honestly, the movie is perfectly fine if shest with neither of the guys at the end. (Now, Ali being cuckoo for Coco on the other hand.... XD never forget who drew her into the club in the first place)

I watched it after having been recommended by god knows whom and years afterwards I thought it was a fever dream because I couldn’t remember the name or find it anywhere. Then, years later I somehow got a hold of it once again and watched it a second time.
I’m glad someone else remembers that this movie exists.
This movie is still close to my heart after all these years. Just this passion for singing and dancing that every one of the performers exudes brings me joy to watch.

I totally understand the cringe-factor to the dialogue and writing but my friends and I love this movie. It is such an iconic girls night movie. It makes me sing, it makes me smile, and it makes me dance. That is plenty for me. Also, Cher and Christina? They could make just about anything and I will watch just to hear them sing.

This is one of my absolute favourite movies, I've always loved Christina and have always loved singing her songs, to the point I'm the only one who will sing her songs at karaoke. I love singing "Somethings got a hold on me" "welcome to burlesque" "bound to you" and "haven't seen the last of me" and if my Karaoke host has it I'd LOVE to sing "Show me how you burlesque" I can actually do the runs that she does and it always shocks the people at the bar. It's one of the best movie/musical scores to sing ❤
