43 here, 44 in two months, you were luckier than me, I only had the opportunity to buy this movie on VHS and watch it when I was in my early twenties. Back when I was a kid, living in Algeria I didn't have access to VHS movies until I was around 12-13 years old. It's only years later, after moving to France and starting to practice breaking, poppin' and wavin' that I stumbled uppon this gem of a movie that one of my hip hop dancing teachers recommanded to me. I watched many hip hop and breaking themed musical movies since but this one hold a special place in my heart and this scene with the disabled guy head spining and doing windmills will stay engraved in my memory till I lay in a graveyard. This movie still inspires to get better and keep learning me to this day.

The breaker on crutches could have been an Olympic gold medalist for sure. He would be an awesome pommel horse champion, even by today’s standards. 👌

@@HussarsJacket This movie was filmed in December 83 and early 84 winter time in L.A. The weather ain't that humid and hot in those months.
