CHAIN HARROWING OLD GRASS LEYS | LETS RIPS THIS GRASS UP!

It's time to start the spring work! I'm off chain harrowing for the afternoon to improve the sward on a field with an old grass ley. The aim for the spring was for the ewes to graze it tight for us then to harrow, roll and fertilize it. Something this field has needed doing to it urgently. A great example of how the Lleyn sheep work into our grassland structure.
