  • Whats up everyone and welcome back! This time around we made a trip to Griffin, Georgia and we filmed this dyno and testing session at Nicolas Auto Repair where he has a Mainline DynoLog ProHub Dyno.
    Here, there MAR Performance team alongside Chupa Tech were testing the newest turbos that will be coming out to the market soon. ApexTurbo designed a specific turbo for the SFWD/XFWD/ProFWD class that will pass tech inspection and class rules. During the testing it was found that these turbos are definitely a great option for someone who is looking to make some power in the class.
    I want to congratulate everyone involved in this project as the results were amazing. From MAR Performance building a bad ass engine to withstand 9 passes of 1300+ hp, Chupa Tech with the tuning of the car and digesting all the data, Tavarez Alignment allowing to use his engine for testing, Team La Sombra for allowing to use the car for testing, Nicolas Auto Repair for opening his doors and letting us use his facility, and Apex Turbo for taking the time to travel down and be there to witness the testing and making sure the class gets the best product possible.
    For more information on the data that was found during these tests, make sure to follow ApexTurbo on all social media platforms.
    This turbo will be available soon exclusively at: Faster Motorsports
    Engine Build: M.A.R. PERFORMANCE Mitchell Muñiz
    Tuning: Chupa Tech Jesus Melendez
    Turbo: ApexTurbo

      Its actually designed to have play like that. If you want to see a good explanation on this, check out speedfactory on instagram, and they actually explain how these clamps work.

    so i see why you guys use a b series for turbo, a lower compression than a k is safer on the engine right?

    • @FlakoPics
      @FlakoPics  2 года назад +1

      At The point these motors are built it comes down to choice. Compression ratio, piston size, etc. There are many different ways to build these cars to make power.

    What the specs of the turbo used? Like comp inducer etc.

    • @FlakoPics
      @FlakoPics  2 года назад +2

      It’s the class legal turbo for Sfwd so meaning 73.9 to a max of 102.9 inducer wheel, 85 exducer, I don’t remember specifically the size of the compressor housing as I’m just the video guy lol but if you want more information on the turbo contact faster Motorsports as they are the distributor of that turbo. Hope that helps

    • @FlakoPics
      @FlakoPics  7 месяцев назад

      that engine was built by MAR Performance out of Kissimmee, FL. Great job with the build of that engine to take all that abuse that day and work flawlessly. @@abec666
