There are several reasons why this video wouldn't be made today. Imagine if it was made today, Me Too and several others would be stomping on these guy's necks. There was no such thing as "cancel culture" in the 90s. The only thing we canceled was our BMG subscription if we wanted to switch to Columbia House and we rarely did that! Either you loved the content that was being put out or you didn't. If you didn't, you know what you did? You changed the channel. Personally I still love this song and video. Loved it then and love it now. I remember seeing it for the first time on MTV in the spring of 1999 which was a dominant year for music and movies in general to close out the millennium. I'm talking about the REAL MTV when they played nothing but heat!! Back when MTV was great to watch. Thats why we should appreciate, worship, and remember 90s music and culture because it will never be the same as it was back then. The way things are today, not a damn chance.
Even though this comment is two years old and talks of MTV in 1999, which is 24 years ago, I do find it funny when it talks about "REAL MTV". As someone who had MTV within 6 months of when it first came out back in 1982, no, 1999 MTV was not 'real' MTV. By 1999, MTV had already largely been taken over by "Real World" and its clones, videos segregated off to 3 or 4 hours largely at night. If you wanted more video, you either went to one of MTV's 'spin off' channels , or some other channel entirely such as CMT. Real MTV died within a year or two of when it first discovered "Reality shows" back in 1992, and by 1994 was unrecognizeable to those of us who grew up with the Music VJ's. Yes, I know it's gotten considerably worse since even the 1990's. I know for at least a few years back around 2014 to 2020 (not sure recently) it went 'woke' and started trying to push a particular political point of view and even made basically political propaganda shorts. I remember seeing several of these and being offended and apalled and sad about how low this formerly music 'entertainment' channel (which had been for EVERYONE that loved rock and pop and rap music) had fallen.I think it has even less music now than in the 1990's if that's possible.
Love your humour and sense of fun KSO. I think you read one of the line as "you do the kind of stuff that only a prince would sing about" but it is " .... only Prince .." as in the singer/artist.
I'm happy that you reacted to this romantic song! 💕 remember when this came out, it was a monster hit here in Europe, I was 27 back then, EVERBODY danced to it. A week ago I played it and my husband came out naked from the shower doing a very X - rated dance to this song. Including the helicopter. He is 54 now and I love him. And his dancing. 🤪
this is the only song i have heard by this group. it is a fun song and the lyrics are racy. really enjoyed your reaction to the video and lyrical content.
My Funny Soul Sister K.S.O., You had me laughing with your reference to Frank Zappa as a connection to the Bloodhound Gang's use of metaphors on sex which is pretty clear with its description in the lyrics. Believe it or not, this is the clean version of the song. In the explicit version, the video shows two gay men eating fries together until they are hit over the head with baguettes and thrown into the cage. This scene caused GLAAD to complain to MTV stating that it was a form of gay bashing, so MTV had Geffen Records eliminate that scene. There are other thing in the explicit version that is too gross to mention. The song reached #1 in several countries. It peaked at #52 on the U.S. Hot 100 chart. It's been a while since I've heard and seen the video. I will be putting it into my playlist. God Bless
What's funny is not only the song but that you read the lyrics too...the genius of this song & the Bloodhound Gang overall is how far & creatively Jimmy "Pop" Franks and his cohorts go regarding sexual content without crossing the line YET still getting the point across...its like X-rated content with G or PG language...it still can make a wholesome person like KSO blush & even sing along...and the fact the word doggy gets bleeped out is just hilarious...as for the little guy getting hit by them in the classic Renault Le Car, he's part of the Gang as a friend or mascot in their videos & projects, like the hilarious Christmas movie "Where the $-$ is Santa???" with Bam Magera & Finnish band HIM...
Silly, edgy but I will give them this, They sang in it, they have some original music in it its not all rehashed mean and hurtful BS talked over using some one else's music, and that hook, I bet 90% of people whether they like the content or not end up humming or whistling that tune for days after herring it.
Lol! Great reaction. I love these guys, they always make me laugh. You need to listen to "Mope" or "A Lap Dance is so much Better when the Stripper is Crying".... both are funny.
@Sincerely, K.S.O. if You ever get to see them Live :-P They are so Funny, Great Songs, and Entertainers. Weird, but Weird is Good these days. Just when You can make Your Friend smile or laugh. That's Bloodhound Gang :-P
I don't know where you found the lyrics, but it seemed to have lots of extra words which killed a lot of the double entrendres, Like "put your hands down my pants and I bet you'll feel my nuts" by added the second my it takes out the crazy interpretation of nuts. These guys are the kings of innuendo, everything has double meaning
Want Bizarre? Watch "The Lady In The Tutti Fruitti Hat" from the 1943 movie "The Gang's All Here (which is Bizarre in itself). Bananas! Carmen Miranda! Bananas! Directed by Busby Berkley ( who was definitely smokin' something) Bananas! Sexual innuendos! Bananas! Surrealism! Bananas! Bananas! Bananas! LOL
good interpretation. they were also very irreverent as a whole in their lyrics etc. Many people found it offensive but they always made me laugh. It was made to be stupid and offensive yet it was funny becaus eit was aware of its own silliness and un PC angle. F*** knows they wouldn't get away with it today!
As silly as their songs sound, the music they made was very intelligent and well done. A very good band that knew how to make well crafted songs.
We all knew this would make you blush, but I was not expecting you to pick up and sing that chorus so quickly!!! Do it again now!
It's a very catchy chorus
Siskel and Ebert were movie critics who used thumbs up, or thumbs down in their movie recommendations. Two thumbs up was their highest recommendation.
Actually that two thumbs up meant fingering two holes lol

Vanilla Ice and these guys did a song together called "Boom". Its really good. If you can find a lyric video, its worth it.
I always loved this song. So romantic! And the video grounds it. It’s perfection. I’m in stitches. Nothing can top it!
Sometimes I get a body flush of happiness and a tear or two slip out when I hear a good song lol ❤️❤️❤️

@@barryserpa5174 or worse (or better?) The lap dance is better when the stripper is crying.
The dwarve mime artist , is still working saw him in Vikings last year and a movie with Ralph Fiennes and colin Farrell in bruges
Hugely inspired by Pet Shop Boys "In the night" and The Flirts' "Passion". Pet Shop Boys remixed a Blood Hound Gang track too.
The MOPE remixes are tasty.
Even now, Passion by The Flirts is a Saturday night party go to for me.
This was played on the radio for years.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...GLAD YOU SAW THIS ONE
Okay, who tricked the most wholesome reactor on RUclips into reacting to the Bloodhounds? Shame on whoever it was. 😁
yet you can't name? (or shame!) 😂

why everyone react on this video in this year?
Wherever your getting your lyrics, change it.
Why were those lyrics so wrong ?
why ew? nothing but the meal worms at the bottok of a good bottle of tequila.
Only just noticed how much this song ripped off the Pet Shop Boys In The Night & Opportunities songs.
Yes, they were big fans of PSB and the europop sound of the time.
Too many pauses
Awful song
