- A demonstration of a Rainbow Six Vegas 2 terrorist hunt on the level "villa". The skill setting is realistic, with a high enemy density, and lone wolf set (you can do terrorist hunts with two AI team mates on single player too). This is the PC version of the game.
This time I thought I'd try out RUclips's 1080p option. All graphics settings are on their highest available options, with 4x antialiasing enabled. My system tends to run terrorists hunts over 60 FPS even with these settings, but recording hits performance of course, so I recorded this at 30 FPS.
Again, this is not meant to show amazing "skills", so if it makes you feel better you can throw in the "you're crap" comments. The strategy I use is much more defensive than most I have seen on RUclips, although it is relatively quick with a completion time of 3:26 in this particular instance.
The video seemed a little dull without background music, so I added an edit of "32 Ghosts IV" by "Nine Inch Nails". Please note that the vocal music during the last third of the video is actually coming from a room in the game, not the music I added.

how to stay in one area and the terrorists come to you? on my ps3 version i find if you ko 4 to 5 of them then it's quiet and you have to walk around the level for the next wave to appear. i can remember theatre level i had 8 remaining and walked everywhere and when i was upstairs looking down at the sitting area they magically started appearing below lol the game is strange like that, also on presido level i had 1 remaining and walked around for 10 minutes and nothing so i had to quit game, i can never stay in one spot on ps3 it's like you have to move around to trigger the spawn.
@@gazster Are you using suppressors on weapons? That can vary how the enemies behave, as if you kill one when others cannot see or hear, they won't come towards you. It also depends how you move through levels - generally you want to wait for a full wave to come to your before moving on, which can sometimes take a while, as occasionally an enemy will turn around and take a really long route to try and flank you.
Often I will deliberately scout out a level on casual or normal difficulty before going for a full realistic run, testing out different routes from the starting area and ensuring I wait for full waves of enemies to come to me each time before moving on to a new area. I also take note of the remaining enemies counter after each wave (though it can vary by an enemy or two for some waves, so be mindful of that when you repeat a route), so come the full run I know when it's time to move to a new area of the level. There's quite a lot of trial and error involved to work out how the enemies spawn, and how their patterns change depending on which direction you take.
@@dml09 yeah i use the 'go silent' approach, ill try the 'go loud' at the start next time and see how that works out. it's strange i still play this game now for fun. i can't get enough of it lol i just did rainbow 6 vegas 1 on normal and then realistic for story and now i play terrorist hunt alot on vegas 2. i think i prefer the 1st games story and the terrorist hunt on 2nd game. i find the 2nd game story hard for the long nevada solo mission, that's very tricky, took many tries to get it.
@@gazster Yeah, the solo mission is definitely a tricky one, and the checkpoints are quite far apart compared to most other sequences. Though apart from that mission, I generally found the first game a bit harder on realistic. I think a lot of that is because the second game has a lot more ammo stations, so more grenades can be used.

@@ElonMusk-Krypto they actually fix that in an update, and they leveled out the game once they saw how popular it became VIA updates... I know this because I played both Vegas 1 and 2 from release date! I was a Goat ya Hear me!?!!! Goat!!! I didn't use a whole bunch of heavy armor, I didn't use a whole bunch of heavy machine guns etc. Light armor and a 552 commando and the MK23 for my sidearm 🙌🏽💯.... . . Like the man said the game was ahead of time!!! 💯

just come back to the game, you can find 4-5 T-hunts that have pretty good player counts. as for pvp i can’t tell you the player count because i only ever play pve

I used to play this on 360 with my friend Dee, she sadly passed away a couple of years ago. We had hundreds of hours on this game together, we would both load up, solo villa each then team up and play all night. One of the best friends you could have and we met playing this game. its sad it never got the sequel and we never got to finish the story. Now its all about siege. Give us more Vegas!!!

This is my favorite level in Terrorist Hunt, and this is also the best Rainbow Six game ever 🎮
I picked it up on Steam and I Lan party it with my son. I seriously think it might still be one of the best even now.

This makes me happy but also very sad. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 was really the first multiplayer game I got into and got good at. I miss getting on and seeing a bunch of my friends playing it and teaming up. We had so much fun and just hearing the theme music gives me chills. I would give anything to go back to that time ❤

The grind was real in this game back on ps3.. I played that shit H A R D back in 6th and 7th grade with my mates. This game gave me my first all nighter in gaming. Now i play on PC every now and then
The only dislike I have for terrorist hunt is that even going silent, they automatically know where you are. On the very first mission for the mode, it's impossible to go stealthy. You move one step and they are on you, other than that, even with how difficult it is I absolutely love it, I died like 10 times on that first mission in a row, but I kept restarting to keep going 😂
That and they just spawn behind you when you look one direction with no audio cue
This is one of my all time favourite games.....a friend got me onto this after I was playing COD MW on the PS3 years ago and I was hooked.
I even missed this game so badly once I had sold my PS3 and moved onto a PS4, I bought another PS3 just to play this on :)

This game brings back so many memories bavk when I grinded it out in 9th grade along with the cod during that time. Playing with my dad online on the same team. I want to get back on it now.

This is awesome! I watch these kinds all the time and yours is the only one that had music that, for me, didn't ruin it! In fact it enhanced the experience! So often its loud and grating and drowns out the gunfire and screams, etc. This had the perfect style & volume it worked perfect, :)

I used to play this same map with 2 homies. Wed run online too. This was a pretty fun game back then. This map was by far the best in the game.
I just picked this up on uplay for $3. Its amazing how damn good this game still is.

This was the best game I ever played. For it's time it's easily the best and well made and controls and movement and everything was way ahead of it's time
Also the progression system and armor and weapons was one of the most addicting, I kept wanting to push and grind for XP and shit .

Man the memories. Once you know how the enemies spawn the game became somewhat easier even on realistic, but that still didn't stop me putting probably a few thousand hours in online terrorist hunt on the 360.
Used to sprint all the way to roof from the start, plant bombs at the top of the ladder, then slide down into the bathroom. the bots would bunch up at the top of the ladder and get stuck on each other, then blow the explosives and nearly crash the game with lag lol.
Same lol and then farming them while rappelling for points

One of the best maps of the Vegas franchise. Second to only calypso casino possibly. Its hard to compare because the first Vegas had so many great maps.

The garage was alway go advantage point. My partner would be explore the upper stairs of the villa while I stayed and cover below. We would purposely throw a grenade of the upstairs window at and call up 'piano time" when we blow it up.
I don’t even know how the Xbox 360 arcades could manage to run this game. Some of the details in this game beat most games to date.
The engine was so optimized. I even managed to run this game back on my 2GB RAM 64mb intergrated graphics potato laptop.
The blood is still fantastic. You don’t see new games spew like that

Holy shit, this was my very first first person shooter experience back in 2009.
I went to a friend for an assignment and we played this game in coop on this exact level.
I was so bad and afraid that I'd get shot. But on my way back home I would fantasize about going through the streets and shooting bad guys. It was like a drug and I was instantly hooked. Playing FPS's to this day.

@gamebrunodog Here, the SCAR with ACOG scope and the P90 with laser sight. These days though I usually use the G3 instead of the SCAR because of the supposed extra penetration, which I keep on semi-auto mode to use accurately at medium range (I've heard the SCAR may have less recoil though, so for fully auto fire it may be better). Sometimes I'll use the MG36 for high capacity with relatively fast reloading times, as you'll see in my Murdertown video.
@saegc7 I'm not sure why more players don't use the semi-auto mode on assault rifles, especially on the PC. The lower recoil compared to full auto fire gives me the accuracy I need for the majority of medium to long range situations during terrorist hunts. Also, in situations like these where you can keep some distance between the terrorists, taking fewer, more accurate shots can allow you to take out a whole spawn-load of terrorists before having to reload.
I always imagine if this game only got the online multiplayer support that call of duty got.

I'm not certain as I don't use this outfit anymore, but it probably consists of the following; raid BDU with cargo trousers, titan combat armour for the body, arms and legs, topped off with a balaclava, tactical helmet and tactical goggles.
