It was my first PFS game. Being 12 at the time, I was glad I played the hell out of it. Have it on Steam now. Despite the fact I don't play it, I can just look at the title in the library and always hold it dear to good days.
I actually would dress my character according to the situation, but also dress them accordingly to weather. When I play the game in the summer, tank top, baseball cap maybe...winter, long sleeves, white camo for snow...grey camo for urban...black camo for the night missions...etc. 👍
I'd pay all kinds of money to get a HD re-release of this game. No changes to the mechanics or anything, just a quick graphical update to bring it into current-gen.

A lot of older games had such amazing menu music. A lot of newer shooters just don’t compare. Don’t get me wrong, there are still some amazing menu themes still being produced, but the nostalgia and pure adrenaline fueled themes from the early and late 2000s just can’t be matched.
This was like the pinnacle of Rainbow6 gameplay right here. I get such Vegas 2 vibes from Ready or Not at times. I blast this while changing my loadout

Ubisoft should really remaster this game, like how Infinity Ward remastered the original Modern Warfare. This was easily one of the best tactical shooters ever made - AIs were stupid but they melt on Realistic, and the guns were mostly balanced. If they really remaster it, you can take my fucking money.
the MP5 was one of the best sub machine guns. BUT THE FREAKING SPAS-12 the only weapon that was OP. Walk around a corner BLAM killed walk into a long hallway BLAM dead that weapon was rage inducing
Shit the AI could pull some wild moves when it wanted; I once tracker tagged an enemy in Terrorist hunt that refused to advance down this killzone I set up with an LMG that his buddies got mowed down in. He instead ran to the other side of the map (and this was the refinery one so it was a long ass way) to advance down an area my team and I hadn't been covering. Obviously I knew where he was was waiting for him thanks to that tracker and nailed him instantly but this was on the higher (if not highest difficulty) so if he'd successfully flanked we all could have been killed. I told the rest of my team about this over my mic and the consensus was basically "holy shit". Never underestimate those AI bastards in RSV 2; they'll murder you if given half a chance and there are hordes of them (seriously that game would have been impossible without health regen).
It's become no better than PUBG and Warzone and all those other mainstream games being fed into by corporate live services, they ditch what made them great for outrageous and outlandish settings that remove their original purpose and feel just to reel in more consumers.

Had many buddies on the 360 who played this with me back around 07 or 08. I would host lobbies and tell everyone to use whatever load out was agreed upon. The most intense games were pistols only on killhouse. Lightest armor you can get and the desert eagle was the op combination. You could move around the map fast and if you hit a guy twice quickly, no matter the armor level he was a goner. Villa was also an excellent map for specific game types
This game needs to be re-mastered. Not because its bad but the game was so incredibly good but since its been so long of the release basically no one plays it. I remember just chilling in the menu letting the songbplay out because it was so good and got me pumped for a game. Holy shit the nostalgia man I'm telling you in getting post dramatic gamer disorder

I would host lobbies and tell everyone to use whatever load out was agreed upon.
The most intense games were pistols only on killhouse.
Lightest armor you can get and the desert eagle was the op combination. You could move around the map fast and if you hit a guy twice quickly, no matter the armor level he was a goner.
Villa was also an excellent map for specific game types

This game needs to be re-mastered. Not because its bad but the game was so incredibly good but since its been so long of the release basically no one plays it.
