I used to insert R6 music into ARMA 2, I was modding my own Rainbow 6 team and mission on that game. Although ARMA is a wide open world sandbox style, I was able to satisfy my craving for Rainbow 6 action. I was a huge fan of Rainbow 6: Covert Ops. Sadly Unisoft are disconnected from actuality, of what made R6 such a great game. It wasn't a out stupid operators with kiddified perks. To me I also loved Black Thorn and Raven Shield was the best of all Tom Clancy's game releases.
I think the music secretly set the stage for the game to be epic. Without the music we won't really care about this game as we would remembering it w/o.

ooooh man! this was when FPS had different standards, rainbow six tried to be realistic and not a call of duty knock off with regenerative health, it required careful planning and patience when playing the missions, not just run and gun, now the only thing we get closer to that its ARMA 2 and 3, god i miss the good old days.

Siege was a game made for the casual crowd, there's no planing or complex operations, no tactical thinking, just run, shot, block x door and window then wait or rush Counter Strike style.

This was my childhood fps! I was 10 years old playing Rainbow Six, planning out my COA, immersed thinking I was Ding, and every time I go back to play it I'm mesmerized by how I was able to do all that when I was just a kid! They don't make games like this anymore and that's a damn shame!

I remember exactly a situation where my best friend an me were playing the whole game in one night. After 60 tries on the last map "rio" he was like:" let it go its too hard and too late". i could convince him to do keep trying. but then after about 90 tries i said: "now i'm tired..." But he made me play further. Another 13 times later he finished it while i was dead, flying over the map telling him where the terrorists are :D
i think its mostly kids here, former kids to be exact. i used to play this game when i was 10 or so, playing on my xbox original in 2010, a game that came out 7 years ago at that time. never managed to finish, now 10 years later it's like a game from another dimension.
Bill Brown who wrote music for classic Rainbow Six, Rogue Spear, Ghost Recon, and raven Shield made Unforgettable atmosphere. the only theme from games which can rival this music is Battlefield 1942. I know he was inspirited by The Rock (Hanz Zimmer) but however he created REALLY MEMORABLE themes! I can't even remember music from new games. The last one was COD:AW2 from Hanz Zimmer

Loved the 'Villa' map. Creeping in, MP5sd in hand, suppressed usp45 in the holster, Ave Maria playingon the stereo in the map, and silently taking out terrorists in suits. Best game memories ever.

I started playing this and thought it sucked, I wanted to run and gun and don't plan as much. When I got older I picked it up again. And I didn't even participate in the mission anymore, I let the A.I. carry out my planning. It was such a blast when they executed it flawlessly after much trial and error.
So sad, the old games were always so challenging, fun, and hard, each time we got impressed from the new graphics! We used to buy discs and all that. I remember playing this when i was a kid, it was kinda scary lol, and i barely knew the controls, but i always remember this kind of games, cause of the good music or maps lol.

You could FACE scan yourself with a camera, and insert your digital FACE in the online part of the game. Vegas was really good in my view, as a cooperation game online. I played it with like-minded individuals, so the game was always a pleasure. I was always online, can't remember if Vegas had single player. Probably did, wasn't my intention to play it.
Classic Rainbow Six fans! I just want to say there is an upcoming game called Ground Branch! Now you may think? Why on earth should I care? Well, because it is made by the developers of the good OLD Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon series! The PC versions. The intention of the developers is to bring tactical shooters back to the surface. I remember exactly a situation where my best friend an me were playing the whole game in one night. After 60 tries on the last map "rio" he was like:" let it go its too hard and too late". i could convince him to do keep trying. but then after about 90 tries i said: "now i'm tired..." But he made me play further. Another 13 times later he finished it while i was dead, flying over the map telling him where the terrorists are :D

The missions never took me more than a handfull of tries even on the hardest difficulty.

i used to play this game when i was 10 or so, playing on my xbox original in 2010, a game that came out 7 years ago at that time.

Bill Brown who wrote music for classic Rainbow Six, Rogue Spear, Ghost Recon, and raven Shield made Unforgettable atmosphere. the only theme from games which can rival this music is Battlefield 1942. I know he was inspirited by The Rock (Hanz Zimmer) but however he created REALLY MEMORABLE themes! I can't even remember music from new games. The last one was COD:AW2 from Hanz Zimmer

2018 = I still love and play this game. Athena Sword and Iron Wrath is excellent enxpansion. This is BEST and ONLY ONE Rainbow Six.
First time i play the game and saw Chavez Ding immediatly i remember that sniper guy in movie Clear and present danger. Chavez and Arkady Novikov always first choice in any my team :)

I played the HELL out of this game. I was just a kid, 13 years old in a clan with grown ups lol. Those were the days. We used to match on adversary, ran into many pros.
Last time I played this game was maybe 2008 with a good friend. Anti camper map was fun ass hell too. Miss those days of PC gaming.

Loved the 'Villa' map. Creeping in, MP5sd in hand, suppressed usp45 in the holster, Ave Maria playingon the stereo in the map, and silently taking out terrorists in suits. Best game memories ever.

This was my 1st rainbow six game, the memories
I started playing this and thought it sucked, I wanted to run and gun and don't plan as much. When I got older I picked it up again. And I didn't even participate in the mission anymore, I let the A.I. carry out my planning. It was such a blast when they executed it flawlessly after much trial and error.
When shooters, especially Tom Clancy games, had such memorable themes. I love how heroic it sounds, and then with that somber guitar.

You could FACE scan yourself with a camera, and insert your digital FACE in the online part of the game. Vegas was really good in my view, as a cooperation game online. I played it with like-minded individuals, so the game was always a pleasure. I was always online, can't remember if Vegas had single player. Probably did, wasn't my intention to play it.
Classic Rainbow Six fans! I just want to say there is an upcoming game called Ground Branch! Now you may think? Why on earth should I care? Well, because it is made by the developers of the good OLD Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon series! The PC versions. The intention of the developers is to bring tactical shooters back to the surface. From what I have seen it is quite realistic so far. I really reccomend the old R6 and GR fans to search it up.
