- Опубликовано: 28 май 2024
- The red painted areas across some roads in Australia are a type of pavement marking. They are used to:
1) Guide traffic
2) Give advance warning
3) Apply a road rule
There areas are not to be confused with pedestrian crossings.

Correction: The red car U-turn is performed correctly. A full guide on how to do U-turnd at T-intersection will be made. So stay tuned.
Thank you for your videos very helpful
You're welcome Ms Cha. Thanks for watching and the feedback 🙂
Thank you Omid!! Great Tips very very helpful
You're welcome Venkatesh 🙂
Thanks for the video. Curious, what exactly was wrong with the red vehicle's u turn? Thanks
You're welcome. Nothing wrong. I should make a correction video on that. A full guide for doing such U-turns will be made
Almost every town in North Queensland, we have red paint on the road at the beginning and the end of each small town. Next to it on both sides are two signs that tell you the speed and both signs are removable. I heard it was in case of lockdowns or police barricades. Can anyone confirm this or know what it means?
Can you name one of those towns?

What's the problem with the white vehicle at 2:32?
Hi Ahmed, The white vehicle entered that road from the opposite lane!
He totally cut the corner - very unsafe
2:30 what was wrong with that right turn? Turned too early?
That's right. Too early and to the wrong side of the road
thank you 😊
You're welcome Jayapriya :)
It makes sense but I'm curious if you have an official reference for your arguments.
All these information have been confirmed with the Transport department
It tells drivers to accelerate and try to hit pedestrians trying to cross the road.
We never said that buddy! You may want to watch that part of the video again and listen carefully this time :)
@@drivingtestaustralia Ok, then. But I observe it nearly every day around my suburb!
