capture one studio viewer client in same network, do i need internet for this network? can you also make a video how to set up the client view? do I connect to the same computer that I use to tether? tq.

it's 100% the price of the subscription that is stopping me personally and also the company I work for from upgrading to this version of Capture
even if it was half the price its too expensive in my opinion

I hear you. Totally. And I am pretty sure, in the point of view of Capture One, these functions are for studio professionals, if you don't need it, don't pay...... but I think since the have the backup function and also capture one pilot there all the way, they should had let everyone have it.
The client view is also something they should just let all users have it..... I don't get it.....

IMO rather than gatekeep the features behind a 2-3x premium, they should allow all users to have them or at the very least, be able to access them on a per use basis.
So a C1Pro user can “unlock” client view on an ad hoc basis if they do a mix of shoots that don’t always benefit/need such a feature.
Either way, the company seems unclear what their value prop is exactly, especially at this juncture with the wave of “AI” software. They should be helping photographers keep the industry alive, not alienate them. When clients opt for “AI” en masse (which is an increasingly real possibility, and already happening), there won’t be pro photographers left to pay for their Studio subscription
