I can remember coming off Guard when the Gurka's were taking over, because the Gurka's are light infantry thy March at a far quicker pace than us as you've just see, Tunics/Greatcoats and Bearskins are not designed for that quick of a march
@@Zippy66that’s very true… but don’t you think in recent years especially now we have a new Monarch ..the public desire for the monarchy and the guards as increased ?
Sorry to dissapoint everyone, but these guys are light infantry and not Gurkhas. Do they look as if they’re from Nepal? Wake up and look correctly before you comment on something you know nothing about!!!!!!
The Gerkhas, the VERY BEST Soldiers to have on your side. 🇬🇧💕
I had to look these guys up. They are from Nepal. Brave and loyal. Nice to have them about.
These guards / soldiers do not get enough credit, they are simply great.
Magnificent

A brisk walk.🤗🤗
The Gurkhas Brother Rifleman.
Gurkhas most definitely. See their Kukri knives?
I wish people would cheer for them...
Folk don’t tend to cheer much these days not even for the grenadier Guards …only on special occasions do the crowds cheer and wave their flags etc

Cheering has never really been a thing. Why start now?
Beards are in apparently in the Grenadiers.
