Hello, this jeffrey from San Antonio Texas U.S. what was the price of the supercharger and was it direct bolt on. Was there any upgrade on the injectors and fuel line need. I have 2011 ram1500 that I have when I was stationed in fort Jackson military base. I been wanting to make some mods to my ram.
Also wanted to say with all that ability and skill, maybe think of building bugout set ups and custom tactical apc's. And maybe concider spray liner the whole truck. And some parts. Tactical and Practical!
I don't know if they changed something going from the States to Austrailia but that HEMI should be making 395 HP not 295 before the supercharger. My 2017 was 395HP and 410 foot pounds torque.
Unless you guys show I just only started watching it last month but I was watching this particular episode and you would imagine that you think you're the only company that makes snorkel kits for the 2500 2500 should be the same as the 3500s well I've got a 3500 dually and gen 3 RAM here in the states but here's the deal I would like to have a set of matching snorkels one for each side because I have two intakes if that makes any sense but is that something that you guys might do?? Thanks ahead of time and like I said love your shows you like this too and that's always a good thing merry Christmas happy holidays from 🇺🇸🤝
@PiDsMedia: Police in Sydney already have the Ram's, seen a few driving around lately, the NSW Police also have F150Raptors as well as a plethora of other exotic vehicles nowadays
@@PiDsPagePrototypes Really, I thought they would have the latest and greatest being known as the police state, here they even have BMW i8, they were going to use Mustang as Highway patrol but it overheated in the test so lost out to the BMW 5 series which is std Highway Patrol now, sounds like you'r guys are too busy sitting round eating donuts
For everyone getting all defensive over the power output. I think they said hp meaning kw because 390hp is 291kw. It then made 260rwkw which is roughly around the 350hp mark.
LOL, he fact that the engineer is standing in the engine bay blows my mind how big this truck is. I've worked on Aircraft that you can't even see the part you are trying to R&I and it's done by feel.
Fun fact: The engine isn't a Hemi anymore. It has a pent-roof head. Dodge just uses the name because they still own it. They haven't had a real hemi engine in their cars for decades.
@Heywood Juhblowme Sorry, no. It's a pent-roof head design. Look it up. Dodges haven't used hemispherical heads for a long time. They use pent-roof heads and call it a hemi. Hemi's were originally called that due to the hemispherical shape of the combustion chamber in the head. That is no longer the case do to efficiency standards, but the name remains. Also, 4v engines including I4 engines in a honda use the same pent-roof head design as the hemi's produced in the last 20ish years. P.s. polyspherical heads were only around in the 50s. There's a fun fact just for you. ;)
I can't imagine how much money went into this build, but what an amazing result. Pretty much tossed the factory warranty out the window with all those mods, but I imagine you can fix anything that breaks anyway. I wondered about ECU issues when you put the supercharger on there. I know you said you ran a tune, but were there any other programming issues you encountered? Is there now a separate gauge for the additional fuel tank, or did you rig-up a way to get the standard gauge to read both? I really like that rear tray, but unless you're carrying a quad around (as in the video), it seems you lose a lot of utility over the standard cargo bed/tub. Are there different types of trays that accommodate more cargo? This is the first of your videos that I've seen, so I'll work my way through the rest to see if I can find the answers to some of these questions. Again, great build from a Ram 1500 owner in Florida.

kinda odd that a supercharged RAM in australia makes less than a stock RAM in America as far as stock horsepower. Emissions must be killing that engine, but at least it's probably super reliable since it barely makes enough horsepower to hurt itself
