About the ONLY thing SHINee is not good at is lip syncing, so they avoid it at all costs. So when you hear them sing about 95% of the time it will be live. And they have trained their entire career to be able to sing live while performing really complex choreography and always sound flawless. They have built a reputation for sounding even better live then they do in their studio recordings. And even other Idols have said, when they perform at the same events as SHINee they are even blown away by how perfect SHINee's raw vocals sound as they listen to them from backstage.
this is the song that inspired exo’s chen to be an idol. he said that previously he only listened to ballads & was prejudiced towards idols, but this song changed his mind & set him on his path/dream. he names jonghyun as his personal idol too.

Their voices complemented each other so well... Jonghyun and Onew could accompany any singer on a duet and they were going to sound beautiful just like that. Their voices are unique...
The way Onew sang the high tone then low then high tone one after another while in harmony with Jonghyun.. seamlessly. Am I the only one noticing that? But fidge seriously JongYu Duet.. their voices fit perfectly together.

This song gives me chills when they do the harmony in the chorus. The thing with Onew is that even when he's singing live his face is so relaxed sometimes i think he's lipsynching (even when you can clearly hear live vocals) and Jonghyun has such a WIDE vocal range and unique tone
