Another great video. I noticed that when Joey 2 hands switched to the red ball, his game improved. That new ball you have Forrest, crushed the pins. Mike looked real good as well. Thanks for sharing this.
Hey Forrest and Mike! Why does Mike say he has no revs on the ball but the ball is rotating with low revs at the release? Also, big props Mike for making the changes from your old style? That is not easy to do at all!
He’s just being sarcastic when he says he has no revs. He obviously has a decent amount of revs but it’s on the lower side when compared to the best professionals
MG and FK always appreciate your videos. That being said, in this one all the work and time MG put into trying to improve went out the window. Just raring back and throwing it as hard as possible can help short term, but long term it obviously will not. I never really saw you as a 2 hander and I never liked the one hand style without starting with 2 hands on the ball either. To me, and I have said this before, but your approach, finish at the line with your slide foot (pointing 90 degrees right) , and your release at the line all need major work. I would watch Chris Muldrow, who has the youtube channel "Expert Bowler Gaming". Watch him and emulate some of the things he does. Starts with the ball low in his stance. That prevents him from being able to take the ball too high on his backswing. Very controlled approach. Finishes under control with his slide foot pointed at the pins. Really gets his hand under the ball at release. Almost picture perfect and he averages 235-240 on a house shot and makes it look easy. Best of luck and hope things progress for you.
I think the slide foot (and hips/shoulders) facing to the right is most noticeable flaw. You can see it originates from being way too open with shoulders/hips at the release. His body never squares up so it's like he's facing to the right and throwing to the left. if you pause @6:36 ish it becomes obvious.
@@canefan17 Agree. He is never fluid at the line and that causes his right foot to turn sideways to the right at the line to maintain balance. He needs to be more athletic at the line and less bull in a China shopish.
Hey Forrest and Mikey! My buddy and I wanted to do some videos of our own from League and wondered what mic’s you guys use? We have these crappy iPhone mic’s but your guys’ are a lot better lol. As always, love the vids!
What’s up man! There are lots of great options when it comes to mics. I would avoid the cheap ones though as they tend to suck. We use the DJI Wireless Mics. On the pricy side but definitely worth it
You can strike with any form on an easy pattern. When he goes to regionals he’s going to regret not trying to keep progressing unless he only wants to do content of course
Basically, Michael is a good decent house bowler but because of his Hand position Before he releases the ball and his out of alignment swing, he's not gonna be able to Bowl well in any regionals unless he gets professional help. Even Forrest tried to help him, but Michael could not change. He's wasting his money on Regionals. He should instead save his money and go see Mark Baker at least one time for help.
220's backswing is to the stars, his body is totally sideways at the foul line and his slide foot is pointing to the right gutter, but...I can't argue with his results. 😂
9:17 "Carry " ?? Then "push" on a ball that's so high already it leaves a 3 pin.. It's all good though. We have guys in our league that throw balls that are flat/roll out ,and they feel robbed with corner pins. Then they miss their mark by an arrow ,and do the shoe test.Like it's the approach that was at fault
ok good stuff...some great spares all around too. Hi Joey, hi Mike. They two guy in the burgundy shirt and pink shirt....great bowlers too. Thanks for another great vid.
@forrest - I'm in two leagues at EADB.. In your opinion, what's the BEST Storm Ball to use for league play in this house? I have low speed but med-high revs and I like to swing the ball. Thanks!
Hi @Derek. That’s a tough question because it’s really dependent on the person and style. However, it seems like pearls do really well in Dublin. I particularly like the IQ Ruby, Virtual Energy Blackout and Clone
Cool video talk tech bowling bowling league Micheal and Forrest how did you bowl all 3 bowling games your series score Forrest and Michael how did you bowl all 3 bowling games your series score and did your bowling league team win all 3 bowling games
He definitely did not improve. He went back to his old ways, and he is who he is probably a 210 average bowler at best, which is still not too shabby..
I love how the guy on lane 1 at 5:28 ish leaves the same spare (3 6 10) and takes the 6 out right there 😅 know that feeling
How high can Michael get with his back swing???? Can he touch the ceiling?? 😂😂😂
Love both of y’all’s content. Keep it up

Like watching you boys bowl, not only are you good at bowling your easy on the eyes :)
Sometimes bowling can be a grind. Keep rollin'!
You know it's a good day when yo u see 220 bowler
True😎
🙂

I always give Mike a hard time when he doesn't bowl well, so I'll definitely give him props for last night. Good bowling. Sorry the team lost.
Local Elevator is at 9:52. What's the track at 7:27, please?
Back swing too high again.. explains the high speed and hits😅
i concur. 😁
Also, 220 finally uses guide hand in the approach 😅 and NOT DEAD ARM!

I agree @matttf2538...if Mike really works on that release and his footwork, especially at the line, he will improve greatly...

I've been wanting Michael to switch back to his old traditional swing and it seems to have paid off!

@14:32 That's my least favorite spare EVER!

Nah coming from someone who averages 140, i don’t like watching him give up on his form like this.
Hard to twist more than Amleto Monacelli...
Facts. Shoulders and hips never square up to the foul line. Legit facing right and then throwing left.
It's not as much the backswing as it is him jamming yhe ball down at the foul line, I thought he originally was dropping it.

My dad used to have a Virtual Energy before it was stolen along with the bag he had out of the back of his pickup truck… sad days
That’s a tragedy ☹️

Already looked into hy-road pearl or night road, depending on how strong you want to go?

@@ForrestKritzer Thank you so much.. Love the videos and please keep them coming! 😇
Good thing for Michael that they have the new balls and lane tech otherwise he'd struggle to average 160.
Why does it seem like Michael is slamming the ball into the lane before he releases it?
Any truth to 220 bowler never having a 220 book average? Looked it up and can't find 220 book average ever. I thunk 217 was high
I hear the X-Files Theme going with that one, haha
Is the tournament at black oak a regional? And also when is it because I can’t find anything online about it
Yes it’s a members only regional and it’s next weekend

That swing is way out of control and trying to throw it extra hard just throws everything off even more
220 is a hard worker with a good bowling IQ. He will figure it out.
How do you 4-9 with no revs 🤣😂🤣😂 #dead
Anybody else have stuttering issues while watching this?
220 needs to fix his backswing. Its way too high and his shots are way out of control
Ummm, I seriously doubt that he is better than you Forrest.. You are a legitimate 220 plus bowler
Tell 220 average bowler to keep that arm lower
Gonna make his head too big with a title like that :P
