    Chris loved all his 3 kids equally, and none more than the other. Vicky repeatedly wanted Chris to cut off his ties from his first child, but he refused.

    I admire Chris Cornell. He was a humanitarian, he loved kids. He was normal, and he didn't care what others said. He was kind, and he cared about the atrocity of the world events. He will be missed more than any musician I have known. He was also a genius. I cried.

      People with depression mostly think their loved ones are better off without them. If you had lived through it you might know that. If you knew it in a medical setting you might know that - if you don't know that then I am glad you haven't experienced it and hope you never ever do.

    • @zippitydoodah7542
      @zippitydoodah7542 7 лет назад

      j9, you come off very callous. lots of people struggle with depression on a daily basis. many with suicidal thoughts. they don't talk about it-they don't go to psychiatrists -they just deal with it. for all you know, michael pal has as well. i'm sure a lot of people on this thread have. psychiatry is, in all honesty, a pseudo science- it's hit and miss on diagnosis and treatment plans. we don't know enough about the human brain and how it works. you act as if everyone who has suicidal thoughts will ultimately commit suicide-there's no hope. you act as if you personally know chris cornell and what he thought and it's a cut and dry case so everyone should just shut up. there are people who have had suicidal ideation that ended up murdered. that is a possibility. people are struggling with this one. your smug attitude only makes you look like an insensitive , crass individual. get off your high horse-you don't know everything. i have experienced family members who committed suicide. and there's another one struggling with it right now. so if you only have smug words and attitude to give-keep it to yourself. you're not helping anyone.

    • @j9andphoenix
      @j9andphoenix 7 лет назад +2

      i am not sure why you are talking to me as though I don't understand Major Depression given I suffer from it, have had several times of active suicidal ideation and know that for a lot of people they don't talk about it - I don't- and that the medication roundabout is frustrating, and often side effects just not tolerated. And that antidepressants can actually increase suicidal thoughts. I don't think at all that everyone who suffers from depression will ultimately commit suicide either and not sure where you got that idea from. That I have absolute belief that it was suicide it based on the information. And what is crass are people who discuss it as a murder and point the finger at grieving family members. I too have experienced suicide in my family and in my line of work. I have said before and unfortunately will have to say it again. There is no evidence to support anything other than suicide and I doubt it would give any more comfort to anyone to accept the other 'option'. If the Police conducted a full investigation which they did, if the paramedics attended the scene, if there is no CCTV footage showing anyone entering the room and leaving after the bodyguard left the room the first time and after that Chris was on the phone to his wife, the paramedics attending the scene did not flag anything to the Police and unfortunately they attend scenes of all types, if the medical examiner found it to be suicide, if toxicology ruled out overdose I think those who are professional and were actually there are in a better position than either you or I or anyone else to think there is anything more sinister. His own friends are not challenging the findings. So I wonder why those who don't know him are.

    • @zippitydoodah7542
      @zippitydoodah7542 7 лет назад +2

      well, like i said-people are struggling with this. and now chester bennington. it is crass to accuse the wife and her family of murdering him- i highly doubt that. chris was loved on a global scale-that's why so many people are arguing this.
      you are free to believe as you want to-but so are other people. conspiracies to murder happen every single day. things are covered up-information left out. it does happen.
      i don't know for a fact that it's murder or suicide. i wasn't there. but going by what's presented-chris took 4 times the prescribed dosage of ativan and was slurring his words-ativan l cause sleepiness and slow motor functions, cause them to be uncoordinated- how did he manage to wrap the exercise band around his neck and over the door in that state? ribs do get broken during cpr-but 8-9 of them out of 12 ribs? you could expect that in an elderly person or someone with osteoporosis but a healthy 52 year old man isn't likely.
      you don't know why friends aren't jumping in-maybe they are and it's not reported. you don't know that that police department isn't corrupt-look around you-there's a lot of corrupt police. people have been railroaded in the past. we've heard that time and time again. surely you're not a boy scout and believe every officer is perfect and does his duty according to the law. and coroners-hmm, well..i know of a man in this area who had 2 wifes-both who died with a bullet in their head and the house mysteriously caught on fire both times and no red flags are raised? he still walks free. there are people getting away with murder over technicalities they're across the board in every state-some cops/coroners are good and some aren't. just because they have a title doesn't mean they're any good at what they do. just like any other person you meet, some will step on their own mother to climb that ladder to success. some got where they are via connections. look at trump for god's sake-if it weren't for mommy and daddy he'd be a skid row bum panhandling for loose change
      bottom line is-it is what it is. regardless chris and chester are gone- it's sad.

    • @j9andphoenix
      @j9andphoenix 7 лет назад +2

      I can agree with you on a few points.I won't go on in depth about the murder conspiracy and the reason for that is that the large majority of the conspiracy to murder has been aimed at the wife he loved. And that she hired the bodyguard as an accomplice to carry out this plan. And the reasons given just became too bizarre. And I have not read any other conpiracy theory - people all seem to be aiming vitriole at the same woman who was there for him when he was on a downward slide. While there are corrupt police officers we would then have to factor in they are part of the murder plot and paid off also. So it then snowballs into the paramedics and medical examiner also must have had pressure put on them otherwise their findings are sound. I know people are struggling with this and I am one of them - I admired and respected Chris Cornell for all of my life through Soundgarden, Audioslave, his solo projects and his philanthropy. And his support of other artists. I won't go back into the rib discussion because I have been there before and it actually is conceivable and does occur in healthy strong boned people. Actually easier to break ribs than you might think. And CPR is extremely vigorous. It is more important to get oxygen in and the heart beating that oxygen through than worrying about not breaking ribs which can be fixed. While it is true that many a criminal walks free there is also incompetency in imprisoning innocent people. I would suggest that in 'high profile' deaths there is more care taken to tick all the boxes because there is more money available by loved ones to pursue anything they consider untoward. I am a strong believer in justice, as well as passionate about injustice. I think it is heartbreaking that Chris is not around and that Chester too has passed away. I just believe it is incredibly cruel to slander the grieving wife. How terrible for her to go through what she has, and all the terrible phases that the suicide of a loved one can bring and hear any of this? So I agree with you again on that point - it is terribly sad that Chris and Chester have left this world. Just in relation to the ribs - nine in total being bilateral is not uncommon. Bilaterallly they encase the area around the heart- ribs 2 to 6 are the ribs that protect the heart - although people think of the heart as being on the left it is closer to the centre of the chest. So ribs bilaterally are often broken. The autopsy report discusses which ribs are broken bilaterally and while 9 might sound a lot it isn't uncommon -it isn't whether a person has weak or strong bones but what has to be done to access the heart in an attempt to kick it back in. Paramedics know what they are doing. I am sure people are shocked to hear that ribs right second to six and left second to five were broken but they tried to save his life. I totally understand that people are in a state of shock about his death, about the nature of it. I feel the same way entirely. But I also feel the need to protect his wife from the cruelty. While people can have their opinion and prefer to believe he was murdered, it is another thing to assume you KNOW the person who was behind it. That is a little like a Salem witch trial. And since some people are actually referring to his wife he loved as that - I hope you will understand my feelings regarding not only justice but injustice.

      Chester found out what happened to Chris and then they murdered him before Chester could scream it out to the world. I want to see those tapes from the hotel, from the time Chris checked in all the way up to that 911 call, and I want those 5 calls Chris made to the front desk asking for help with different shit wrong with his room released too. Those employees, they are running some kind of robbery racket, robbing and killing rich people, that woman who called 911, SHE knows what happened. They all need to be questioned over and over again. Now that they know who he was, I know they have been covering their asses, mistakes were made, we must find them and demand justice for Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington.

      It was reported he had been suffering from a painful shoulder injury and was on different prescription medications, like Ativan. In large doses, it can cause suicidal thoughts. He should have been closely monitored by doctors. It could have saved his life.

    Actually he had 7 broken ribs, but yes, head trauma was reported by paramedic and a torn shirt!! His shirt was NOT torn at last concert! And that song he sang, the last one, he had sang many times before. Wife and bodyguard's stories keep changing!! THERE'S MORE HOLES IN THIS WHOLE DAMN, HELLACIOUS STORY THAN SWISS CHEESE!!!!!! :'(

    I hope they catch the scumbag Martin who strangled him. 9 broken ribs and head trauma. Not a suicide.

    • @designerlarry
      @designerlarry 7 лет назад +5

      Eliteco3 I agree. I still keep thinking about the one comment that speaks volumes. When he called his wife Vicky if there's a concert, and I realizeThe whole thing about hindsight, and perhaps the thought did not enter her mind, but those who have worked in suicide prevention I'm sure are trained in this: to say anything to Chris just to keep him on the phone call, getting to another phone line - getting a friend, or neighbor, to very discretely get 911 on the phone, and get to his room in time to get him to the ER, as prolonging the conversation, listening and responding with your full support for what he was feeling. May have prevented his death. It may have also resulted in Martin's arrest, if foul play was really happening.
      It's still so surreal. I can't watch this anymore- I break down every time- and although my situation is different- I'm in a very volatile situation, and it's only going to make me vulnerable enough to follow his path. And then I look at who is part of my life- it jolts reality back to me.
      We will never know. But we will always remember.
      RIP Chris!

      Again- another site I want to honour the memory and dignity of a great man and awful accusations not founded in fact. One important fact not known to anyone who has not lost someone to either suicide or terrible accident - it is VERY common for multiple ribs to be broken as a result of CPR. The chest compressions to try to get someone to breathe again is quite violent but is needed and broken ribs is a better alternative to not breathing at all. Chris had been adminstered CPR by not only those attending prior to paramedics but by the paramedics. Head trauma is a result of his head being against the bathroom door and struggliing either for oxygen because he was not totally unconscious from the Ativan only having taken four, and the involuntary fight for life that any living creature does. Lying against the door meant in struggling he would have violently hit his head. Bottom line. I adored that man. I am still battling to understand he is gone. But he has. If his wife was concerned and called his bodyguard to check on him and phone records would have shown that, if hotel staff knew the events unfolding, if the Police received a call and attended the scene and would have behaved professionally, if paramedics attended and acted appropriately and professionally and all of that was appropriately recorded, if a highly trained medical examiner performed autopsy and toxicology and provided all information in order to provide the answers and allow Chris to rest, why are people who sit at home huddled over their computer playing Sherlock? People unfortunatey suicide every single day of the year. Even famous ones. And suicide is NEVER pretty. And people do not always announce they are going to do it. For many reasons. He owes us NO explanation. And please stop the ugliness of blaming others. Those that he loved most in life because you are hurting them - not just his wife - his children. STOP please. If you actually ever cared about him.

      You can choose to believe what you want and other can believe what they think is true. Personally, I do not think he would just have a carbiner & exercise band handy after taking Ativan and decide to check out. I've read that 1-3 ribs is common during CPR, not 9. The door was a little taller than him. He was 6'3. Those exercise bands have notable stretch to them. He would have had to raise his legs up pretty high to get this done. The way his witch mother in law has acted on social media is pretty telling as well. Attacking Veddar and now Peter Cornell. The K family is evil and I would not put it past them to use Chris for his abundant wealth. Mr. Cornell helped me through my life the past 20 years and I also am deeply saddened by this. If he did not die by suicide I think Chris would want us all to fight for justice for him, my 2 cents

    • @j9andphoenix
      @j9andphoenix 7 лет назад +15

      Carbiners are strong and used for more than hiking - like moving heavy sound equipment. The exercise band is often carried around by people touring to keep some physical fitness when living in the confines of touring and living in hotel rooms. You can't number how many ribs are broken in CPR. It varies. I would think the bodyguard who had to bust down two doors to get to him attempted to revive him before paramedics arrived. Broken ribs are not of themselves life threatening and you had people trying to revive him. A lot of force is required. Especially when the situation is dire. At the end of it all, whatever you want to feel about his family is up to you though I think respect at a time of grief would be appropriate. And especially in light of his children. Do you not think in this day of social media they won't hear the awful accusations? Anyone still wanting to go the route of murder disregards so many facts including two doors had to be broken down because they were locked from the inside. For those who truly loved Chris Cornell and his music -it is a terible disservice to turn on the family he adored. The friends he adored who knew him and stand by them. We can love all Chris gave us but we did not know him. And the loss is difficult to come to grips with. But we are not owed a full intimate explanation. No one posting here was there or knew him or his family or his bandmates and friends. If they are all standing behind his family then why people who know nothing of the day to day Chris Cornell can come up with theories is just really sad.

      He took his own life. Demons in your mind don't care who you love. He obviously loved his family. Mental illnesses often strike the most brilliant minds. The pain that took him from the world , didn't mean he didn't love them.. We have to accept what happened to Chris and to Chester for what it was.

    • @dilonpolaris
      @dilonpolaris 6 лет назад +1

      I don't accept it. Other stuff has come in to play. Alot of times things aren't as simple as they seem. They're investigating both deaths. Sometimes you can't believe everything the media wants to feed you. It's an easy way to "make things go away"..there's alot of evil people in this world who hide and go to those extremes when they're cover will be blown. Only in a perfect world would all the pieces fit together.

    • @j9andphoenix
      @j9andphoenix 6 лет назад

      When you say 'they're investigating both deaths' can you be specific as to who they are as the Police and families are not. Please be specific and give names and authorities involved and not 'sources' please - thank you.

      j9andphoenix They are investigating CHRIS and CHESTER'S death - it's not the typical 'AUTHORITY FIGURES' - and No I cannot give any specifications - It will be out in due time. You're welcome!
