Lmao my favorite part was towards the end of the battle when Itachi was walking towards Sasuke doing his finger pointing and Sasuke was looking around scared as if he was in a genjutsu and expected another Itachi to show up 😂😂 I genuinely thought that was gonna happen too first time I watched
Sasuke was a genius for EVERY move he made being a plan to set up kirin... But itachi was a OMEGA genius for every move he made being to make sasuke run out of chakra, bring orochimaru out AND implant a curse jutsu to activate upon seeing obitos eyes
In my opinion Itachi is one of the most Unique, Authentic and Influential characters from the series. The thing that people underestimate about Itachi fights/encounters, isn't just his power, (it's mainly writters or Kishimoto's fault for making Itachi seem or to look very powerful throughout the series) but how smart and intelligent he is during various situations, he never, ever underestimates his opponents because of his composure and his way of being, the level of thinking he's on honestly dwars most people in the series, with only people like Minato and Shikaku comparable with him. More precisly, Itachi isn't just any ordinary Shinobi also, he pretty much knows and he's also aware that all strong opponents have weaknesses (including himself), and he specializes in finding those "weaknesses" and exploiting them ("*Even the strongest of opponents always has a weakness*" - Uchiha Itachi) because he's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. Itachi is very unique and authentic, especially in the factor of facing various encounters approach, his unpredictability in his way of fighting style approach it's his key factor in all of his encounters. Being blind or nearly blind has never slowed him down (especially when he's pretty much serious, but that's the point, he has never go all out against anyone during the series.) Itachi it's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. (at least that's what we were shown in the anime by the creator Masashi Kishimoto). Moral of the story, never underestimate Itachi. He did more sick than most healthy ninjas do in their entire life. In my opinion No One should underestimate such an unpredictable Shinobi like Itachi, even Madara (I won't say that Itachi can beat him, but at least he will be pretty much able to put a decent fight that Madara will also be impressed in my opinion). Also how can some of you guys even consider that Totsuka Blade it's slow when no such speed feat has been shown through the Shippuden that state it that it is slow? All of you are assuming it to be slow it may not be the case... Its not that the sword is unavoidable but it clearly has a very long range and is a very long blade. If you look at the manga, Naruto, Bee and Itachi are all relatively small from Nagato's point of view, and you can see the Totsuka Blade extending all the way from Itachi, piercing through Nagato, and still managing to nearly pop out toward the reader out of the page. I would say its fast because Kabuto coudldn't even react to it, and its not like Nagato was completely immobile to the point that he couldn't sidestep the blade. Also, Kabuto controlling people from far away is never stated to inhibit the Edos' reaction speed in any way. Being controlled by someone thousands of miles away didn't stop the Third Raikage from dodging KCM Naruto's Rasenshuriken. And as for Orochimaru, the sword struck him in between syllables of a word during his speech. I think that that is pretty fast. Pair the Totuska Blade with a good feint and its lethal because its ethereal, meaning it can pierce through any object. If the sword didn't live up to its reputation then Orochimaru wouldn't seek it out. People need to stop downplaying Itachi and denying the very clear speed feats of Totsuka. There is no room for interpretations here. The advantage of being an Uchiha, especially for Itachi and Madara, is that during an encounter against them, they always have a counter because of their unpredictable way of fighting factor, they don't run out of options or techniques, they almost always have a counter in their arsenal, even forbidden jutsus seems irrellevant against them, only a few Uchihas know a certain way to approach the situation with a certain and effective technique, that's why is hard/difficult to fight against them in my opinion. ☯️ 🤷🏻♂️ Here are the things that make Itachi so formidable. Tsukuyomi - A genjutsu so powerful that you literally can't escape it unless you have the same blood as Itachi, as stated by Itachi himself and proven later by Sasuke, or you're a jinchuriki. Jinchuriki are supposed to be immune to genjutsu but it hasn't been proven, but when Bee was fighting Edo Nagato and Itachi with Naruto, he said to watch out for Tsukuyomi explicitly. Literally 99% of all opponents fighting Itachi have no way of stopping Tsukuyomi. You could have the power to split the planet in half and it wouldn't matter. (Want to know why? - Kakashi pretty much state it in the actual anime and manga that Tsukuyomi it's such a dangerous Genjutsu Technique because it happen in a instant, even if you realize that you are trapped in the Tsukuyomi, it will be too late, because Itachi could approach you during that time in the real world (or he can use an Explosive Clone to approach you without you even realizing it in time and he can pretty much finish you before you can even realize, - 72 hours in Tsukuyomi realm means 1 second or a couple of seconds in the real world. Tsukuyomi can't be broken, when used to it's fullest.) The Sword of Totsuka and Yata Mirror - The Susanoo itself is a near invincible defense but these two weapons take it to the next step. The Sword of Totsuka can seal "anything" if it even touches it. It's completely OP. It's hard to fight a guy that can seal you away if his sword even touches you. The Yata Mirror is even a bigger deal in my opinion. It doesn't block attacks, it's "negates" them. You could throw an Amaterasu covered Bijuu bomb at Itachi and the Yata mirror will negate it, making it so the Susanoo doesn't even need to take a blow. You could punch the Yata mirror and the force will completely be negated. His biggest strength of all: tactical intelligence - Itachi always outsmarts and plans for everything because the plot demands it. You're physically strong? Itachi is already 2 steps ahead of you knowing exactly what to do. You're extremely fast? Again, 2 steps. You're going to try and outlast Itachi in a fight? Good luck. To add to this, some of the 3 most powerful techniques in the verse are due to his intelligence and planning ability; Izanami, Izanagi, and Kotoamatsukami. Izanami - A forbbiden genjutsu technique that allows you to alter someone's destiny. Impossible to break out of even if you know you're in a genjutsu without complying with the users set destiny for you. Even someone like Bee, a perfect Jinchuriki, can't escape Izanami unless he does what Itachi wants him to. Izanagi - You somehow gained an advantage over Itachi? He makes it so that advantage never happened. Kotoamatsukami - Though Shisui's technique, Itachi has his eye which effectively makes it his weapon. A genjutsu so powerful that the person it's cast on doesn't even know they're under a genjutsu. Like the Tsukuyomi, completely OP. To add to all of this, Itachi is pretty good at hand to hand combat, is great with shuriken, is extremely fast, is great with regular fire techniques, is slippery and unpredictable, and has the extremely dangerous and fast Genjutsu style of fighting approach that can caught you off guard almost at any time. With all of these things considered you've got one dangerous ninja. Lastly but not least Kishimoto made sure that Itachi was seen as someone special and he did an incredible job in establishing that in the story. When Itachi Uchiha awakened his Susano'o, he was seen wielding legendary weapons of the Totsuka Blade and the Yata Mirror. The former allowed Itachi to seal anyone he pierced in a world of genjutsu forever, while the latter gave him the ability to deflect any and all attacks thrown towards him, regardless of whether they were physical or spiritual in nature. According to Zetsu (who was around since the period of Kaguya time era until the present of Naruto) he state it in the anime and also in the manga that these weapons, when combined with his Susano'o, made Itachi Invincible. This is why Kishimoto basically had to give him a handicap: Naruto AIDS. 🤷🏻♂️ ☯️
One thing I think that a lot of people overlook is that while Itachi never wanted to kill or seriously harm Sasuke in this fight, he did need to completely deplete him of chakra before he ran out of chakra himself. That's the condition for Orochimaru coming out. Sasuke honestly did a damn good job of making Itachi work for that win condition.
@@v.thirteen5504 Easy junior, I'm saying Sasuke ain't that hot. He was up against a diseased cripple who was holding back and still needed to use curse mark.
And Itachi ain’t even struggle . Itachi changed lives behind the scenes , because he’s a character who gets it , he can adapt he’s a learner , and skilled. A cheat code in his own right . He pulled on Sasuke , behind the scenes, what we see he pulled on pulled on kabuto. But that was the Sasuke version, Sasuke isn’t kabuto. But he saving life because he has the ninja world in view and from he became in life of his own choosing . But he has mind to always figure things out . And always stay calm and assess, but his version of it is cold. And kakashi became his girlfriend , got dog washed casually , and he still was glazing Itachi I think
@subwall7464 I mean. You saw Itachi VS Orochimaru in this fight, right? Basically this exact Sasuke barely beat almost dead Orochimaru and 9.5/10 diffed Deidara. Deidara got absolutely folded by Itachi.
@@subwall7464as an Itachi glazer myself, I try my best not to be bias. That said this is an exception where I think he’s leagues above Sasuke here. I feel like the story makes it very clear, just off the tier of fighters Itachi no diffs. I mean you can directly compare OrochiMaru like six did.
Actually the itachi vs sasuke novelization in the second fanbook, explains that itachi just dodged the chidori strike, sasuke blew a hole through the wall and then itachi used sasuke as a means to propel himself out of the wall. It also explains that sasuke broke the tsukuyomi for two reasons. One was the chakra from the curse mark but more importantly his visual prowess was great enough to register that tsukuyomi is a genjutsu, which hardly anyone else can do and sasuke just has that eye.
I also thought so. Plus saske have already experienced Tsukyomi 2 times before and also with sharingan. You could argue Itachi tortured him to make him more resistant towards one of the worst power possible. First time is always the worst. This was third time plus cursemark vs perhaps lower lvl hit as well.
I think the bigger issue is interpreting this as a fight. Its more of a training/progression moment. Itachi wasnt living past the day anyway. So it was time to give Sasuke his MS and see how far he had come. Genjutsu-see if he had developed and how strong he can handle. MS genjutsu is stronger than any other kind. So if he can deal with that he had certainly reached the level of a true shinobi. Shuriken- jutsu of the clan and was assessing his ability to use it especially given how he had trained him. Ninjutsu- fireball jutsu and having general jutsu to end fights. Seen by their clashes and him having to counter Amateratsu and forcing Itachi into Susanoo Taijutsu- testing his sharingan and his ability to fight close combat. I can keep going but that was all this was to me. A final teacher to student moment where the gift for completing was the MS. He also eradicated Oro so he would seek his own form. Its symbolic of him needing his own strength from now on and no one elses. Itachi can die in peace and Sasuke can return to the leaf as a hero, asset and know that the Uchiha clan legacy lives through Sasuke. My headcanon: if Sasuke wasnt good enough I dont think Itachi would have allowed himself to die at Sasukes hands. He would have beat Sasuke and just died. Whether he gets the MS would be unknown but I dont think he would have allowed Sasuke to believe he was the victor otherwise.
Itachi made it look like Sasuke won by using the precise amount of chakra needed to exhaust Sasuke's chakra and exhaust his own while having enough left over to seal Oro. He had that fight planned down to the minute details and had control of the fight the entire time, like a rehearsed stage play. No one has a better combination of long term planning, combat prep, and quick thinking feats than Itachi.

Oh, I didn't notice that the forehead tap was what sealed the Amaterasu into Sasuke's eye! Makes sense, I never stopped to think about when Itachi rigged such a metaphysical transplant.
All I heard is that Itachi is a great big brother who would die for his little brother and even going as far as to give said little brother his own eyes for incredible power💯
Wait Itachi actually has insane stamina and chakra reserves wtf. 3 shadow clones, 3 genjutsu, tsukiyomi, 1 fireball, 2-5 amaterasus, susanoo to block Kirin and held it up to beat up Orochimarus strongest form while blind and still put a seal in Sasuke after all that. I think thats more than enough to beat up Obito
Maybe if itachi was healthy. Remember that Obito has insane durability, just look at what he does to the village at 15 years old. If it weren't for Minato, Obito could have solo'ed the whole village.
Itachi never had low chakra reserves and it doesn’t state this anywhere. However his stamina from illness was affected so he couldn’t fight for long periods.
@@rkvlegacy9206The only time Itachi’s chakra is mentioned is when Karin (a sensor) states that Itachi’s Shadow Clone had “enormous chakra” and she thought Sasuke was in danger because of it. Bear in mind, she’s been around Orochimaru. So when she says “enormous chakra” she has a pretty good standard to judge by. And this is just ONE Shadow Clone meant to give Sasuke a message, not to fight. This implies Itachi has at bare-minimum Orochimaru-level chakra, if not much more. Nobody would ever claim Orochimaru has low-chakra lol.
I've always felt like the statements about Itachi sandbagging vs. Sasuke have been way played up, and/or have been retcons. People act as if Itachi could have beaten Hebi Sasuke with the same ease that he beat Kakashi or Part 1 Sasuke and I think that's absurd. I think Itachi tried his ass off to wear down Sasuke, holding back only enough so as not to kill (the same way Sasuke would hold back not to kill Deidara, and yet no one thinks Sasuke sandbagged against Deidara) and was truly, genuinely taken aback by Kirin. Imo the fight has Itachi in the lead, then on the backfoot as Sasuke is much better than he anticipated, then in a check position when he thinks Sasuke is out of chakra, only to realize that Kirin is THAT JUTSU that literally might kill him if he doesn't go all out to defend against it. Anything else to me is either a retcon, or a misconception about Obito's words. Words which are heavily biased and that come from someone who generally has really shit power-scaling takes, such as when Obito believed Amaterasu-only Sasuke could take on the 5 Kage at once with ease and take hostages. Even Itachi isn't fucking doing that. Obito, what crack were you smoking to think that was ever a possibility?
To add to that Tsukuyomi point, when Sasuke and Itachi fought Kabuto, He used it on Sasuke while his EMS was active and it still worked. I doubt he broke out of it at full power with just base sharingan if that’s the case.
All these years later, I still don’t know how to feel about the fact that itachi was actually a good guy and that this wasn’t the climactic battle we all thought it would be. By the end of it, I come away with Sasuke having done a great job of looking mighty impressive, but still being a league or two below itachi who took it as a sparing match. A high stakes sparring match, a tense sparring match, a sick day sparring match, a highly planned sparring match, yes, but still a sparring match. I guess Sasuke really should’ve shown up with MS already. That’s the only way he could’ve finely been evenly matched with itachi.
Itachi was a genius of preventing combat before it ever started - he was a pacifist who hated war, and his propensity for genjutsu was a result of this world view. He rarely overpowers anyone, and instead sets up traps and scenarios which result in him winning with the least amount of combat possible. Sasuke was a genius of combat and battle IQ. His drive to become strong enough to defeat Itachi lead him to trying to gain more power, then figuring out ways to use this new power to it's fullest potential. This made him a genius when it came to improvisation/battle IQ, because he was constantly searching for new ways to get stronger and how to apply that new strength.
11:00 Correct. Sasuke when adult has put Amaterasu on his weapons and people before. But for the knives that stuck Sakura? When he grabbed those and hit them with Amaterasu, they instantly disappeared (extinguished I guess).

Low-key. Scaling orochinaru too. You could conclusively insist that without orochinaru's knowledge. Sasuke wouldn't have the means to perpetuate his proponent power. That's why we believe Sasuke could take on the paths but not tendo
Yeah what's crazy is thab sasuke wouldn't even need his susano, And Sasuke didn't even have ems Edit: to add it only takes someone within proximity or someone who's a vessel (boruto-momo, Sasuke-orochumaru, naruto-kurama/minato) to break any level of genjutsu, even frog song!
Itachi not getting damage by the chidori if he got hit is plot tbh not to mention sasuke was nowhere close to full power when fighting itachi he was on low Chakra reserve when they where fighting
The coolest thing about this story is that. After Sauske's victory he adds his own Unique Mangekyou Power to Itachi's newly transplanted eye's because of their Kekkei Genkai traditions in their clan
One could also conclude that Itachi left his black flames on the outside of Uchiha hideout to make sure nobody could interfere with the battle. Seeing as the other hidden leaf ninja were close by...
What if Sasuke had awakened his MS when he fought Itachi? So let's split this into 2 rounds, Sasuke with his feats against Killer B (Taka Sasuke) and 5 Kage Summit Sasuke. How well would these Sasukes do against sick Itachi?
Taka sasuke is stated to weaker because he hasn’t fully recovered from his battle itachi along with having him having to change his fighting style because of the removal of the curse mark so he does worse than hebi, but 5ks sasuke does really better with him constantly acclimating with his Ms and grow stronger but unfortunately still gets beat if itachi was going all out because sasuke doesn’t fully catch up to itachi until he awakens the eternal mangekyou sharingan
@@huntershurley4331yeah and even with EMS people are still questioning if he did early on in the war arc as we see edo Itachi massively out perform sasuke
One possible explanation for amaterasu not burning the trees, perhaps amaterasu only burns things that have chakra networks. I don't remember if in Naruto they state wether or not all living things have chakra or not. But if isn't stated. I think it's a possible reason.
Itachi did use partial susanoo, for example when he encountered sasuke in the woods going to kabutos cave, or even in the fight vs kabuto too. He has used the aura only, the ribcage, a susanoo arm too.
Sick Itachi 🤝 Old Hiruzen when "They have bad stamina" just for dying after their Stamina gave out, despite having RIDICULOUS stamina feats leading up to it.
@Six in regards to the rigged shuriken itachi should be more than able to manuever in the air like he did in the genjutsu when he threw sasuke. So that is probably why zetsu said he'd be able to dodge it instead of chalking it up to itachi suffering from using tsukuyomi.
12:55 I've been a long time Naruto fan, known about this fight forever and whatnot...but never, not ONCE have I heard anyone mention that when Itachi is placing his finger on Sasuke's forehead, that is him imparting Amaterasu onto him. Wouldn't this just be a fan theory? I mean, I'll take it...but I've never seen anyone else bring this up before
7:15 Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Itachi use partial Susano'o (specifically one arm) twice? Once when he's blocking *Sasuke's* partial Susano'o arm when they're passing through the forest, and then again when he's protecting Sasuke from Kabuto's attack.
It’s kind of crazy that sasuke actually would’ve just killed itachi prematurely had he not to been so theoretical with Kirin. Not only does sasuke literally explain Kirin to itachi, but he gives itachi SO MUCH time to react to it lol. And itachi BARELY even reacts to Kirin with prep time. If sasuke said nothing and just launched Kirin it would’ve been GG. And It’s ironic because sasuke isn’t normally one for theatrics but this was his big moment so I get it lol.
umm I have news for you, Itachi was the one in control, he was pushing sasuke to use moves that drains him to the point where Orochimaru would come out. Sasuke was out for the kill, Itachi was the one toying with him the whole time, and he deceived him to the very end, making sasuke only see/exxperience what he wanted without even relying on a genjutsu stated by obito himself
@ Itachi lost control of the fight when he unknowingly allowed sasuke to set up Kirin. He would’ve been screwed if sasuke didn’t waste time explaining the jutsu and trying to be as flashy as possible.
@@chousion6890 No I just know better than you. Kishimoto says nothing about itachi “having control of the fight the entire time” or at all… Bird brain itachitards took a SINGLE statement from obito and blew it completely out of proportion. It’s just your tough luck that you ran into someone that actually watched the series.
@@chousion6890 No, I simply know better than you. And kishimoto never once said itachi was “in control of the fight the entire time” or at all. Some bird brain itachitard took a SINGLE statement from Obito, and blew it so far out of proportion it’s not even funny. And then some how, a large portion of the fandom started regurgitating the same bird brain argument they’ve heard someone else say. Exactly like you did just now. I’m 100% sure you literally just quoted someone with the “itachi was the one in control” “He was pushing sasuke to get orochimaru out” And mind you there are multiple ways to not only interpret Obito’s statement, but also sasuke and Itachi’s fight.
Each of us lives, dependent, and bound by our individual knowledge and our awareness. All that is what we call "reality". However, both knowledge and awareness are equivocal. One’s reality might be another's illusion. We all live inside our own fantasies.
7:20 itachi has the ability to pop out a susano fast and strong enough to block out a Kirin. I’m sure if he wanted he would’ve blocked a surprise shuriken which he saw and gasped at before it hit. He was just sandbagging for lil bro.
7:20 Well he When sasuke used Kirin (I think that’s what it’s called) Itachi pulls out his susano instantly, we don’t see that thing manifesting at all, It’s just there all of a sudden.
I feel like itachi didn’t hold back tsukyomi to sandbag but to just conserve chakra and his eyesight. A full power tsukyomi would just work against his goals. He’d go blind prematurely, and I feel like if sasuke couldn’t break out he’d just end the genjutsu himself. But sasuke broke out. And the databook makes it seem like he could’ve done it regardless. Sasuke after this point at the 5ks is a genjutsu master so I don’t wanna say that applies to this sasuke but u feel like it’s worth mentioning.
@@IIIISai He didn’t “seal” kurama he used sharingan to surpress his influence via genjutsu Jinchurriki who aren’t perfect are weak to sharingan genjutsu
@ajayimoses2495 I wont debate the specifics, it was still impressive and kuruma himself stated sasukes aura is similar to madara so idk man his doujutsu kinda nice for 3 tomeo he maximized its potential pre ms is what im saying
So I have this idea. Can Itachi and Pain individually solo the rest of the Akatsuki (not counting Obito and Zetsu). So Pain and Itachi will individually fight Deidara, Sasori, Hidan, Kakuzu, Kisame, and Konan as a team. It's 1v6, don't tell me it's not fair for Itachi and Pain, they're the top 3 Akatsuki members after all...
Pain can easily do it. The man defeated the entirety of the hidden leaf village (the strongest village) and Naruto w/sage mode barely won due to having a bunch of advantages. I don't see Itachi doing it since he will run out of stamina before he can finish the job. 1v1s, itachi sweeps all of them but as a unit it would be too much for him.
@@alejandrorangel7668I think the moment me whips out the MS it’s over for atleast half of them. He could literally kill Hidan no problem. Deidara already got put in a genjutsu so he gets clapped. The real problem is going to be kakazu with the 5 hearts, konan with possible prep and maybe sasori. But even then, I don’t see konan getting past genjutsu, and if he needs to he can whip out the totsuka blade and really break them niggas down. Oh and amateratsu.
Cause as it is a power boost it’s drains so much chakra. It’s basically a knock off sage mode. Naruto with his big chakra reserves could only maintain his for so long
Hebi Sasuke said to Orochimaru that he is stronger than him, and later, he said to Karin that he won because of Orochimaru's illness. 2 contradicting statements that should be taken with a grain of salt. I believe that Sasuke was actually stronger than Orochimaru (at least the one with the sealed arms), and Hebi Sasuke is definitely stronger than Orochimaru.
Itachi is Shikamaru with High Kage talent. When you think of it like that and when you factor the vague abilities of his Shield and Sword and the fact that he is the only other guy besides Naruto with Talk no Jutsu, he probably scales upwards to just about anyone. You can even write it where he's like, "Is this the ending you foresaw?" before it all stops and the author just rewrites the story to not include that ending or Boruto or whatever....so, Plot no Jutsu.
Itachi uses partial susanno against Sasuke when he first sees him again in the war, he uses it to save Sasuke from Kabuto. Ninja storm also claim that he could use full Suano and I believe it’s Canon.
Cool video and well made. I appreciated the music choice. One thing I like to say about this fight - it's the last opportunity Itachi has to teach Sasuke a lesson as a larger brother. Much of the fight involves Itachi explaining both the practical aspects of jutsu as well as the history of the uchiha, the limitations and caveats of the mangekyo - he indirectly tells Sasuke how to get his own EMS. So, though he was holding back overall, for sure, I tend to think that he's also using things like the Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu at their "standard" capacity. Narratively, IMO it makes sense for him to give Sasuke a realistic depiction of the strengths and weaknesses of the jutsu that he'll be using himself, soon. It's all one big lesson. As for the Amaterasu not burning the trees thing, I like your interpretation, that it only burns its intended target. I think you could also just say that it takes a while to burn things it gets attached to. Example - at the 5KS, Sasuke tries to use it on the Raikage. 4A Dodges it, and it hits the Samurai standing behind him. Temari and Kankuro rip off his armor, and the armor burns away a few seconds later, but the Samurai himself doesn't die. And in the war, Edo Itachi I thiiiink casts it on the bird, rather than on Nagato himself. It happens to also hit Nagato, and slowly burns away at him, but it takes a while to get through his arm.
3 moments when I thought Itachi could have killed Sasuke when I watched this for the first time and I thought “is he stupid?!”: - shuriken exchange scene: if Itachi had time to weave signs for clone, it means he was not even throwing those shurikens full speed, he could have landed 1 or 2 on Sasuke. - like the Tsukuyomi, yes Sasuke broke out of it, but Sasuke was still trapped in it for a certain second, so Itachi could have attacked at that moment - Itachi put out Sasukes fireball but stopped right after and waited till Sasuke runto continue the Amaterasu
Itachi's amateratsu falls onto oro's snake and kills it? so what you said at 10:50 doesn't seem super accurate. (chapter 394 page 3-4) Itachi possibly tanking chidori is solid reasoning though and obviously a compelling case for itachi's chakra, even while sick, was shown. Also hinata technically described itachi's chakra as 'very powerful' Tbh if you ignore speed scaling which is probably exaggerated in many cases, you can make the argument that hebi sasuke easily has the arsenal needed to take down minato, hiruzen or even most other kage.
The only thing i have to say is around 7:23 you say that madara is the only one we see using partial sussano is not true as in the war arc we see both Itachi and sasuke using it for various reasons multiple times. Although, I agree that Itachi was definitely surprised by the rigged shuriken and got hit with it genuinely.
Great video. I dont think Itachi has more stamina than sasuke, hes just more efficient at using it. I mean, he is terminally ill and sasuke is literally indra incarnate, there just aint no way.😂
Itachi pointing to himself in the chair lives rent free in my head.
Don't even care that Sasuke saw through it. Shit was absolutely cold
On Bro😂 I thought it was just me
Definitely
Lmao my favorite part was towards the end of the battle when Itachi was walking towards Sasuke doing his finger pointing and Sasuke was looking around scared as if he was in a genjutsu and expected another Itachi to show up 😂😂 I genuinely thought that was gonna happen too first time I watched
Honestly the hardest moment in anime for me
Sasuke was a genius for EVERY move he made being a plan to set up kirin...
But itachi was a OMEGA genius for every move he made being to make sasuke run out of chakra, bring orochimaru out AND implant a curse jutsu to activate upon seeing obitos eyes
he a good brother but battle the good fight

Sasukes doujustu peak
I typically dont like using fanbooks as canon material but thats really cool..
@@peterpancik5176 good point for sure !
Love these fight analysis vids. Future series should take notes.
Seen by their clashes and him having to counter Amateratsu and forcing Itachi into Susanoo
Taijutsu- testing his sharingan and his ability to fight close combat.

Itachi also taught Sasuke how to get the eternal mangekyo during this fight right? he definitely knew he was going to die that day
Well he pushed himself to death in that fight on purpose to push his little brother over like in wrestling basically 🤷🏿♂️
I think Obito vs Bee, Naruto, Kakashi, & Guy might be a good one. Or Sakura & Chiyo vs Sasori.

The feats Obito pulls off in that fight are crazy. Fighting 4 high Kage level opponents casually.

catch TG dropping "Itachi vs Sasuke: Ackchually baaaad???"

Reading and watching this fight altered my brain chemistry as a kid. This shit was so fucking hard to 13 year old me
Could you cover Sasuke vs the 5 Kage Summit Run in this same style of video?
I feel like all of Sasuke's fights need this analysis
I like how you used Duel of the Fates as the music. Very on theme.
W upload
Itachi has some of the best moments ever and his brother is right up there with him.
9:40 also dont forget itachi sent clones out in advance, so its highly probable he didnt start the fight at full chakra capacity either
This fight is what got me on Naruto I was like what is this then I feel in love with anime
Such a awesome story!!!
Hey, we both made videos about this topic and came to a similar conclusion
glad to see we agree!
I think about this fight more than any other fights in anime
UNDER 10 MINS GANG LESGOO
But for the knives that stuck
Sakura? When he grabbed those and hit them with Amaterasu, they instantly disappeared (extinguished I guess).
5:30 I choose to interpret that statement as: the most powerful physical attack that a sharingan is capable of
@@kaztheunbreakable In the databooks. Amaterasu is called the strongest fire release jutsu and Tsukuyomi is known as one of the Ultimate Genjutsu. Amaterasu burns the target until there is nothing left while Tsukuyomi can break the mind and is the only Genjutsu that can directly kill the opponent.
@ sure but Madaras fire style that took an entire platoon of water style users to counter is eating itachis amaterasu for lunch so that statement needs to be taken with more than just a grain of salt
Cope harder. It's the strongest physical attack period. So yes, Itachi solos your fav.
@@kaztheunbreakable Amaterasu would eat Madara’s flames and Water style doesn’t negate Amaterasu which is as hot as the Sun’s surface. Madara had raw power but Amaterasu is literally the strongest fire release shown in the series. If Itachi was in Madara’s place and used Amaterasu more people would be dead as the flames would spread and inflict thousands of Shinobi unlike Madara’s which can be extinguished by Water jutsu
@@rkvlegacy9206 nah youre putting too much faith in a databook statement. If madara used amaterasu in that moment instead of regular fire then yes it would be stronger, but replace sasuke with madara in the fire v fire moment and madara is overpowering
Low-key. Scaling orochinaru too. You could conclusively insist that without orochinaru's knowledge. Sasuke wouldn't have the means to perpetuate his proponent power. That's why we believe Sasuke could take on the paths but not tendo
Yeah what's crazy is thab sasuke wouldn't even need his susano, And Sasuke didn't even have ems

One possible explanation for amaterasu not burning the trees, perhaps amaterasu only burns things that have chakra networks. I don't remember if in Naruto they state wether or not all living things have chakra or not. But if isn't stated. I think it's a possible reason.

real title should be - The High IQ of Itachi for letting Sasuke think he was doing well
Itachi did use partial susanoo, for example when he encountered sasuke in the woods going to kabutos cave, or even in the fight vs kabuto too. He has used the aura only, the ribcage, a susanoo arm too.
Sick Itachi 🤝 Old Hiruzen when "They have bad stamina" just for dying after their Stamina gave out, despite having RIDICULOUS stamina feats leading up to it.

7:30 didn’t itachi use a susanoo arm to swat at Sasuke whenever he was chasing him on his way to Kabuto?
8:03 did sasuke see zetsu😂😂 he’s RIGHT there not even tryna hide
@Six in regards to the rigged shuriken itachi should be more than able to manuever in the air like he did in the genjutsu when he threw sasuke.
So that is probably why zetsu said he'd be able to dodge it instead of chalking it up to itachi suffering from using tsukuyomi.

12:55 I've been a long time Naruto fan, known about this fight forever and whatnot...but never, not ONCE have I heard anyone mention that when Itachi is placing his finger on Sasuke's forehead, that is him imparting Amaterasu onto him. Wouldn't this just be a fan theory? I mean, I'll take it...but I've never seen anyone else bring this up before
fighting itachi genjutsu is like dreaming of waking up from a dream

7:18 itachi destroyed kabuto’s cave entrance with a susanoo arm, also he could’ve just used the susanoo ribcage
7:20
Well he When sasuke used Kirin (I think that’s what it’s called) Itachi pulls out his susano instantly, we don’t see that thing manifesting at all, It’s just there all of a sudden.

Naruto vs pain would be a great fight to analyze like this
Is this a reupload? I remember seeing this video before
You got a video on Sasuke vs Naruto the last fight?
This is a very unfair fight. For the rest of the members
If ? Big If ?
If Itachi had Curse of Hatred instead of Will of Fire, he could Kill all Akatsuki,
@@alejandrorangel7668I think the moment me whips out the MS it’s over for atleast half of them.
Pain could, Itachi could as well but his chances are extremely slim compared to Pain’s.

7:53 Itachi's bad eyesight is a direct reflection of why the tsukuyomi broke and not really Sasuke breaking out of it
I’m surprised by how little Sasuke actually used his curse mark 2.

Naruto with his big chakra reserves could only maintain his for so long
4:38 at some point obi tells him you did not see through any of his illusion he created thats all you need to know
Hebi Sasuke said to Orochimaru that he is stronger than him, and later, he said to Karin that he won because of Orochimaru's illness.
Makes me wonder my how this fight would have gone if Sasuke had actually unlocked his MS
Would you do a high IQ analysis for jjk fights?
7:22 I always thought itachi could have just done some kinda of spin, or twist mis air to dodge the shrapnel.
What surface is he using to create that momentum? He can't really spin in the air if he didn't intend to before he jumped
@tonymack4120 I seen plenty anime where a mid air dodge or spin was prefomred. I even seen ski divers do spins and flips and twist.
3 moments when I thought Itachi could have killed Sasuke when I watched this for the first time and I thought “is he stupid?!”:
- shuriken exchange scene: if Itachi had time to weave signs for clone, it means he was not even throwing those shurikens full speed, he could have landed 1 or 2 on Sasuke.
- like the Tsukuyomi, yes Sasuke broke out of it, but Sasuke was still trapped in it for a certain second, so Itachi could have attacked at that moment
- Itachi put out Sasukes fireball but stopped right after and waited till Sasuke runto continue the Amaterasu
I can agree it was held back or let out. Why color it in negative multiple times but with them it's in color?
Itachi's amateratsu falls onto oro's snake and kills it? so what you said at 10:50 doesn't seem super accurate. (chapter 394 page 3-4)
Itachi possibly tanking chidori is solid reasoning though and obviously a compelling case for itachi's chakra, even while sick, was shown. Also hinata technically described itachi's chakra as 'very powerful'
Tbh if you ignore speed scaling which is probably exaggerated in many cases, you can make the argument that hebi sasuke easily has the arsenal needed to take down minato, hiruzen or even most other kage.
Mmm
Nah, sasuke is not on that level yet.
@@shadowuchiha4311 explain lmao, kirin > chidori > rasengan
The only thing i have to say is around 7:23 you say that madara is the only one we see using partial sussano is not true as in the war arc we see both Itachi and sasuke using it for various reasons multiple times. Although, I agree that Itachi was definitely surprised by the rigged shuriken and got hit with it genuinely.
Kabuto also confirms Amaterasu being the strongest jutsu. This is despite seeing Nagato and everyone else in the war.
Sasuke put up a better fight than Kakashi ever did against Itachi.
I mean at this point in the series Sasuke is stronger than Kakashi
Sasuke really did his thing, still he was more recourseful in the diedara fight
Obito vs kakashi next would be peak
🔥 Will of Fire is Real, Will of Fire Exists, 🔥
Great video. I dont think Itachi has more stamina than sasuke, hes just more efficient at using it. I mean, he is terminally ill and sasuke is literally indra incarnate, there just aint no way.😂
Itachi was almost blind and about to die, but he managed to last long in the fight
Itatchi one shotted Orochimaru twice 🤣🤣
