    For me, one of Gounod‘s most beautiful arias… Bring on as many versions as possible and I won‘t be able to resist listening to them… ✨✨✨

    Edison made exceptionally good records, and so often were catching great singers ...
    Though I would be unlikely to listen to this music randomly, I am very glad to have the chance with this fine effort.

      A good tune, nicely sung.
      I generally hear Heddle Nash in this (in English), which I think is one of his finest recordings.

      @@The-Organised-Pianist I have listened to Heddle Nash before and then only a couple of minutes ago! It shows how singing in English can be a reason for a memory disconnect!
      Hard to choose between the two on musical terms!
