    Bobo Vr with the new fan has a larger battery and better clicking into place pieces, which holds the headstrap together better. The fan can be turned on and off with a rolling finger dial from 0 to 100 fan speed. The only con is the fan can be a bit annoying but with fast pace loud games like Beatsaber its perfect. All the weight is taken off the face.

    I too purchased multiple Quest 3 head-straps... my favorite is the JHZWD Head Strap with Battery Pack. In second was the BINBOK VR T3 Plus Battery. For me, the Halo style strap is the most comfortable... but I really liked the Binbok's swapable batteries, and the comfort wasn't too bad. But I didn't care for much for the quality of the adjustment system in the back. If the JHZWD head strap had the same removable battery strategy as the Binbok...it would be perfect. But I'm giving up swappable batteries for now for comfort and going to stick with the JHZWD.

    • @unmatchedvalue

      @@unmatchedvalue While the Bobovr is a halo strap, it doesn't have that cross strap that goes over the center top of your head. Also, the back of head cushion on JHZWD is awfully nice and its adjuster on it is really nice. It has a push system along with the knob that Bobovr doesn't ... but you're correct, the Bobovr does have a similar battery strategy to Binbok's. I had the Bobovr2 head strap on my HP G2 ... those 2 short top side straps on the Bobovr were useless and I ultimately bent them out of the way. Again, I really liked the back adjuster knob on JHZWD and to me that makes the difference when comparing it to the Bobovr. It was solid and better quality but also flat and didn't stick out. That helps when you sit back on a chair with your Quest on and you can rest the back of your head comfortably and not feel that knob when you turn your head.

    • @unmatchedvalue
      @unmatchedvalue  5 месяцев назад

      @covertpuppytwo3857 Oh I see what you mean, yeah and with the Bobo if you lean your head back the battery can get popped off too. So I can see the benefits of the JHZWD if you know what you need it for. Its not a problem for me though cuz ill usually use my quest sitting at a desk or standing, and if I need to lean back and I'm sitting anyway might as well just charge from an outlet.

      @@unmatchedvalue Changing the topic for the moment... the other issue with the Quest 3 and comfort and such... is the removable facial interface that comes with the Quest 3. I've also purchased several after-market facial interfaces, but I haven't really found one that I truly was happy with. Their either very comfortable but limit the FOV or they give me the nice FOV but hurts my nose. I have another one on order... the AMVR version 2 that I believe will arrive tomorrow but then I found another solution that I hope to order today. The other one is made by Oblik design, and it is custom made for your face. I'm really interested in their solution... but to order it you have to have a recent model Iphone to scan your face in 3d and send it to them. I use the Android Galaxy phone, so I have to borrow my neighbor's Iphone to get this one ordered. It reminds me a lot of the Bigscreen Beyond VR headset and its custom facial interface.

    • @unmatchedvalue
      @unmatchedvalue  5 месяцев назад

      Yeah, I'm just using a silicone cover over the stock standard interface. I think its surprisingly a good fit for my face features. I heard a lot of people complain but with the halo style headbands ability to take some of the pressure off my face I'm actually pretty comfortable. Having said that the Oblik design one seems kind of an interesting concept. A bit on the pricey side; but might be super comfortable and help FOV.

    • @unmatchedvalue
      @unmatchedvalue  5 месяцев назад

      Yes I'm using default facial interface with only a silicone cover on the padding. I haven't tried the amvr one but if you can make the bobo kind of like do a continuation of the padding on the amvr one; so like have it pretty much resting on top of the padding slightly closer to your forehead is what works best for me with my setup. You might need to move the bobo further back away from the front of your quest in order for that to work.

      @kaijupink 23 дня назад +1

      Hi there. I've been looking at the AMVR interface because of the four adjustment areas (rather than just the two on the stock) and I feel it might help with the awkward feeling fit on my face.

      I honestly didn't test the Elite strap. When I was buying these, the Elite strap had several issues people were complaining about and there was no time frame on when it would be fixed. • @kaijupink
    @kaijupink 23 дня назад +1

    I've been looking at the bobovr but I've been unsure of how I feel about the forehead band. For me, one issue I've been finding is that the best placement for the headset to have a clear view is to have it tilted down slightly (top side slightly away from forehead, bottom side closer to face) but the basic strap, when adjusting the top strap, tends to tilt the headset up, which makes the blurriness worse.
    Anyone have any info on if the bobovr or kiwi (the ones I've been looking at) help with this?
    I've also been hesitant of the bobovr because of the magnetic hotswap battery. Definitely going to check out the other video review to see what you say about it.

    • @unmatchedvalue

      Sorry for the late reply, with the Bobo head strap you are able to angle it slightly because of the forehead band. I just put mine on to double check. Its not much though a couple degrees of movement. Hope that helps your decision.
