I use the Staedtler Fine Line watercolor pens for my art work. True workhorse pens, you could have both sets and really expand the possibilities!! And they are so economical and great colors!!

Great review. So many variables that are not only informative but have given me some variables to be aware of in my ‘very’ amateur Artwork. Note: I have these and find sets almost everytime I go to the thrift store...$2 or $3 an unopened set. I like the vibrant colours of these. Much appreciated.
I have these but I really don’t like them, when they arrived almost all of them had leaked badly, a couple of the pen nibs were softer than others and one flopped around like a dead fish. However I loved what you did on the watercolour paper, usually I won’t let my nice pens touch watercolour paper, but I would gladly sacrifice these for a nice water colour project if I can make it blend that nicely and they do have some lovely colours.
Just bought these for my first and new Bujo and this was a SUUUUPER helpful review! I’m so excited, these pens are a game changer!

Thanks they are superb . And very superb. And also try doms and Camel brush pens. And also try watercolor pencils of studtler, derwent, doms, camel, brusto. Ihave used them all. All have many plus points.
My steadtler brush pens frayed really easily... I used only the right paper for brush pens and not watercolor paper..
Thanks for doing these videos, Amanda! It's become so hard to get brush pens here in Ireland so I can't afford to waste money on bad pens! You're the bestest!

I like the how the stabilo 66 and 88 work with water, so not surprised how these work, but the option of a brush is fantastic!

I know this was a year ago now ,but i ws able to get my hand on an 18 pack of these for half price so i paid under 10$ aud for them. Wasn't quite sure how to use them but i was hoping they be good enough to learn how how to use watercolour brush markers as my alltime wish list is for the Karin brushmarker pro, after seeing your tutorial on them with the leaves. So now i am hoping i can get somewhat the same look using these but following the leaves tutorial. Not sure if i have to do anything slightly different but it be good to play around with. So glad found this. It is soo awesome for a beginner such as myself. Thankyou so much and as always much love from Australia
Can you do a review on the ohuhu dual ended brush pens, they are like one of the cheapest brush pens on the market

Will recommend you to test out staedlter luna 48 shade water colour pencils and Faber castels 60 shades colour pencils and draw out some drawing out of it and give us some tips on how to use it#❤️🎨🖌️🖍️

I really appreciated this video with your great demonstration of how the pens can render a beautiful watercolor piece! I don’t have an artistic bone in my body, but with demonstrations like this, I’m learning how to fake it! I am a visual learner, so being able to see you actually do this in real time is priceless to me. My sister is a great artist, but she had some health issues and now lives in an assisted living/group home environment she doesn’t like at all. I thought lettering could be a therapeutic outlet for her, so I got her some “beginner” supplies & gave her some channels to help get her started (obviously, your channel is on the list). I’ll text her this video so she can see what the pens can truly do. It will help her so much, so THANK YOU so much!💗

I just got this for Christmas and I found my old watercolor brush wasn't as wet/smooth so I'm hoping this video will help
hand down best markers, tombows can suck it, wish they made more delicate pastels though, sighs!

I’m testing out the 18 package as I’m watching this video and the result is far from what you show! They don’t blend well at all when I apply water with a brush and they seem to be quite dryer than the ones you’re using. I’m testing them in student, watercolor paper which has been useful for watercolors before so I don’t think is the paper. Could it be that the store that sold these to me, had them for too long and now they’re dry?
Hi Julio. That could be! I didn't have the same experience with them so I would contact the retailer that you purchased them from.

Thank you for this amazing review. Since these have a felt nib, won't using them on water color paper ruin the nibs?
Watercolor pen will fray the nibs quicker than smooth paper so you just want to pick and choose the projects you use watercolor paper with!

Thank you for the review... You must try doms brush pens that are from India and they come in a pack of 14 shades and are very cheap at India. They are only of 2.72 dollars and are awesome... I have them and they are very much good.. I like them even better than the camlin kokuyo brush pens.... And yes I am an indian viewer and I love your videos very much and I forgot to mention that they include two metallic shades too
