- In this episode, I discuss my family's reaction to me becoming a Christian, the circumstances that led me to leave home, and the miraculous journey of my mum's conversion to Christianity. My hope is that this testimony reaches those of you who have unsaved family members or friends, and that it encourages you to never stop praying for their hearts to be receptive to the truth.

@CaitTaylor you are an amazing woman. Never heard of some being kicked out of house 🏠 for going to church. I was attacked for not going and in.
Both of my adult sons were lost, and their mom had renounced her faith and was experimenting with witchcraft. My oldest son was using drugs and alcohol and living an adulterous life, and my youngest son is autistic and seemed unreachable. But I prayed for them everyday for their salvation. Though at times they seemed to grow worse, I did not pay attention to the outside, but instead trusted that God was moving in their hearts, though I could not see anything. To make a very long story short, all three of them have returned to the Lord. God granted me the greatest blessing of being able to baptize both of my sons, and my oldest preached his first sermon recently.
Hold on. Keep believing and keep praying, no matter what you may see on the outside. God is good and faithful.

They say men don't cry but your stories just tug at the heart strings and have me fighting back tears. Sometimes I feel like everyone around me is cosplaying at being a "Christian", but everything about you is raw and authentic and vulnerable. For it is written:"Jesus wept." That is a clear statement of god himself. Real men do indeed cry and are true and vulnerable when they talk to god. Father in heaven I pray for my beloved brother in Christ, that you reveal to him what it really means to follow him and be his child. I pray that god sanctifys and comforts you by his truth, which is his word, the holy bible. I pray that we all are able to rely on truth not feelings and yet be vulnerable with god, trusting he is our safe protector, always faithful to his word in his holiness. Thank you father for all of my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, that you have found them and that they are made new in Christ. Strengthen their hearts and heal them spiritually and physically and guard them safe of the lies of the enemy. We thank you for the precious gift of prayer and your holy word. I am praying for my sons who I've been estranged from for many years to turn around and acknowledge me as their mom and have a relationship with the Lord. I'm praying for my husband of 20 years to come back to God and also to me. Right now, God has me alone. I'm in a place where I'm able to devote my time to pouring out my heart and crying out for them, but I get so discouraged and I feel alone. ❤️ Thank you, for sharing your stories! Praying for you and your family. God knows your love for him. I'm in a similar situation with my wife and pray one day before it's too late, she'll come to the feet of Christ repenting of her sins with a broken and contrite heart. Try to stay strong. Praying for you.
My father mocks God. It’s almost impossible to imagine he could come to Christ. Prayers for him would be amazing. His name is Don, he is 86.

Prayed just now. Know that God takes great joy in saving the worst of us, especially the ones who look the most hopeless so that HIS glory and goodness may be seen by many. Pray with faith that God will be pleased to save your father and giving thanks for his goodness. Be patient. Many times what can look like a "no" from God is only a "not yet". God will do things in His way and in His time for His good pleasure. And when your father is saved, let many know so that God will have the glory.
What's impossible for man is 💯 possible for God. God can cause these stones to become children of Abraham to serve Him, and besides, He says, I will take away your stubborn hearts of a stone and give you an obedient heart. Keep on praying for him and preaching to him. Jesus is the answer
You are not crazy about the wind sweetheart. On the day of Pentecost people were receiving the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues. They felt a rushing mighty wind. I actually received the Holy Ghost and was born of the Spirit as I was coming out of the Baptismal tank and could not speak English. I spoke in tongues for like the next 10 minutes. It was the most powerful and transforming experience I ever had in my life. I could not even breathe bc I felt so clean bc Jesus remitted my sin. I did a study on baptism and it was only done in Jesus Name! God is doing such an amazing work in your family Cait and thank you for your encouraging words! I had that born again experience back in 1985 when I was 19 and not one of my family has come to faith, YET. Also all my children are running a million miles in the wrong direction. Praying they will do a 180 soon! In Jesus name.
Okay, I commented on one of the shorts, then found the full video. This is really hitting home for me. Thank you for blessing the viewers (and me) with this video. It came across my feed at the perfect time. My best friend renounced her faith shortly before I came into her life. That was 5 years ago. I’ve spent much if not all of that time showing her the unconditional love of Jesus, but every time I say his name, she cringes. Last week she lashed out at me and it became clear that her heart is hardened and the seeds I’ve been trying to plant are falling on deaf ears. She is DEEP into the new age stuff. Sometimes I wonder if I should walk away, but I know He placed me in her life at the right time to influence her, so I’m not going to give up.

What a wonderful story about how the Lord used you to save your mum. I use to ask God why in the world did you have me born in this family. It turns out I had a hand in the Baptism of both my brothers and my parents. I can also relate to your story about the wind. I have walked several miles a day most of my life. I usually pray for part of the walks.
Countless times as the prayer would get more intense a gust of wind would come out of nowhere. In Psalm 104 vs 3 and 4 the Bible says, "He walks upon the wings of the wind. He makes the winds His messengers. I have no doubt over the years the Lord has spoken to me through the wind. It is really inspiring to see how well you handled things as a young Christian back when you were 17. Blessings.. Don

Hello dear sister in Christ, The lord brought me to your video and I ended up in tears.... he knows my heart, and I won't lie I was also upset and questioning him about this specific topic because I am the only believe in my household, and I would pray to him asking why, and I believe he answered it for me through this video.... This increased my faith and I know he is doing something when I cant see it!!! Can you please pray for my brother David who once was a believer and antagonistic to the faith and he has been trans since. His new roomate is christian, and that is a miracle alone and answer to prayer! Whoever comes across this I ask that you also please pray for him as well, God is doing great things.

Wow, thanks for sharing 💓You’re so lucky that you were born again at 17. I’m recently born again 25 and I wish I had much earlier. I have been a believer previously as a child and young adult but lost my faith and God along the way. But ready to fully devote myself now. Wish I did sooner. My parents are separated, my Dad worked really hard to bring me to God I’m so grateful. Now I have the task of converting and saving my Mum and rest of my agnostic family 🤞

PRAISE GOD!! What a beautiful story. I am praying for my mom and dad and this inspires me, I know HE is working in their lives in ways I'm not aware of and it will become known. I played a worship song I wrote with the Lord once, I didn't intend to, but I decided to, my mom started listening and cried, she said it's so beautiful, I said, that's God's word, that is the Holy Spirit at work.... she's been quite resistant but I know the Lord is working and it has to be Him, softening her heart, preparing her, giving her eyes to see and ears to hear. You are fortunate, in your twenties to have this understanding and to find that kind of peace at such a young age. I never found any kind of peace until my fifties. I spent half a century feeling lost with no purpose. We had similar childhoods.

The algorithm put your video "How to Fight Back" in my feed and it was exactly what i needed to hear at that time. Our journeys look different but the experience of finding Jesus in a trauma is the same. Hearing you speak of Tony E, Priscilla and Joyce is like listening to a wisened old friend. Constantly reminding us of the battle for our minds. But it was your testimony about your mom that brought tears to my eyes because of my struggle and the hope your testimony brought. And then one of your shorts about Joseph and how it can all be turned around in one night. How many times do we have to be encouraged with testamonies like these before we finally grasp and not let go of His abilities? How easy it is to doubt! When you said how sad you felt that you had doubted when God came through - i get it! Thank you for your testimony! It got you a new sub.

The "voice of God" telling you that you were born in this family because you were their best chance to know Him is a pure gem. Love it. I once had the same sort of experience, not earing anything but feeling a pure, calm, and strong impression of being guided when I looked for a flat.

I am so encouraged by your podcasts and how you are always lifting up Christ and His word. I was bothered when you mention false teachers in your podcasts like Benny Henn, Joyce Meyers, and Tony Evans. however, I remember in the letter to the Philippians, Paul says in chapter one starting at verse 15. "Some indeed preach Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from good will. The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. The former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely but thinking to afflict me in my imprisonment. What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in that I rejoice." Even in false teachers Christ can be known and God can turn someone's heart even when there is error, for He is most powerful above all. Just be careful who you listen to. blessings, shelly

I felt so alone and isolated being the kid of a single parent and would be so focused on "Why do I not have a 'perfect' family with two parents and siblings and all the stuff that comes with it?" instead of God himself. I was physically abused by my Mum for going to youth group. I no longer speak to my family, not all family are meant to be saved. Sometimes we are placed in those families to break curses.

I just finished listening to this and before it I listened to your first message where you talked about all of the challenges you and your mom and younger brother experienced with your step-dad. I also moved out when I was 17 because of my step-dad. Thank you for sharing and being so transparent. God is clearly using what our enemy meant for evil for good in and through your life! I believe everything you said. I experienced partial healing in my left arm when Benny Hinn was at my church a few months ago. I'm confident God is using your videos in powerful ways in the lives of others! So awesome! I just came across your videos for the first time tonight and was very encouraged and inspired. I've been developing a plan for my first RUclips channel and I plan to post my first video this week - to encourage people going through chronic health conditions. When I was 16 I told my mother that I wanted to convert to Judaism. She gave me a suitcase and told me to stop keeping Jewish customs or get out of her house. I left and never came back. Today I am 63 and live in Israel.

Honey I think that testimoney was the best tetimony I heard in my whole life. Hi Cait, I am blessed by your wonderful testimony and can identify with some of your experiences. I would like you to partner with me to pray for my brother who is an alcoholic and recently has been having signs base on results of blood is having issues with his liver. I have been praying for many years and no change but I noticed that he has been repeatedly listening to a gospel music in his truck and also expressed that he likes a particular one. I think that God is working but it won’t hurt to have someone to help us pray for his healing he is also addicted to cigarette. Please help me pray he will come to know Jesus Christ has his Savior.
Hi Cait...This was SUPER encouraging to listen to, I just think to myself, how in the long run, he was building your faith through this situation all along. I am praying for my younger brother. He has a lot of hurt in his life and is angry at God. I don't preach to him. I just love on him. But I have been praying that the LORD will put other people in his life to build him, challenge him, Love him and direct him in the way the LORD, to TRULY come to KNOW THE LOVE OF OUR FATHER AND JESUS & to be guided by the Holy Spirit!

Amazing story Cait. God is so good. Unbelievable how God works in our lives. I love the part where you found your mom’s Bible. The best is when you were both baptized on the same night. Truly a story of how God leaves the 99 to find the one. Intercessory prayer is so powerful. If you could pray for my friend Sarah, it would be greatly appreciated. She is seeking, but she has not answered Jesus knocking on her heart’s door. Pray for her heart to soften, for the soil to be fertile, and for her to open that door. God Bless you and your mother.

I’m eternally privileged to have worked with chronic drug users who were subjected to unfathomable traumas most within the family of origin home. How some of them had the motivation to live was remarkable. The only thing that helped me cope with working with souls who had nothing was Jesus Christ. I met so many saints in these sessions who were persecuted from birth and were still being persecuted by society because they were homeless, angry, frightened and had very limited options but to choose a passive suicidal life of substance misuse. I still thank God for those that lived and those that didn’t survive through drug overdose, as their lives were too tortuous environmentally and internally. These poor souls taught me everything about life, we must protect our children from trauma, I truly thank God for bringing some of those poor souls to heaven so that they could be with their true mother Our Lady and her son Jesus Christ.
