So happy you’re back! I’m glad you’re all doing well. I’m sure I’m not the only one who gets frustrated watching those lows, because we have all been there. 😢
Both Lows and highs are hard to deal with but all of us feel like the lows are a lot more scarier for some reason but all of us are lucky to be in the age of CGMs I don't know what I would do without my Eversence E3 CGM it has saved my life on many occasions
whenever I'm on vacation and know im going to walk a bunch i always leave it in exercise mode like all day pretty much to help give me an extra cushion plus reduce rates
OMG Michelle how do you do it all? Thank you so much for sharing all of this - I can especially relate to the drop off in insulin needs when the period arrives!! Eden is simply adorable and you and Raffi look like stupendous parents (no surprise there!) Sending you joy!! ❤
I love watching your content! After watching your with the T-Slim I organised it for myself, and could never go back to MDI. Thanks always for sharing 😊
Hello Michelle. I hope you are doing well. I really like your videos as I mentioned before. Sometimes I have the sensation that even doing my best and restricting all the "bad" foods, things do not work out the way they should. And I experience variations in ratios from cycle to cycle. I usually have my A1C on target, but I sometimes get rough weeks, which makes me feel so frustrated and down. Thank you and keep posting.
I really enjoy your channel. Have you ever taken a cruise as a diabetic? I' want to take one but am concerned whether my CGM and insulin pump will still function at sea.
Glad you had a nice time. I really appreciate that you show real life snippets of your blood sugar and how you deal with it. It’s very helpful as oftentimes the advice we get from our care teams is very hypothetical. Thanks!
I couldn't help but chuckle a bit when I saw you went to Miami. I just flew back into Toronto from Saskatoon where we spent 5 days visiting my wife's brother and his family. We went to a resort a couple hours north of Saskatoon for a couple days, and got to experience negative 40 Celsius temps. Miami would have been much nicer.
I started using tandem pump since last week and few days after I had a really bad hypoglycemia, my dexcom reading was LOW and my wife had to call an ambulance, it was a nightmare. I'm still getting used to the new pump and settings but I'm really afraid that CONTROL IQ had something to do with that. Do you have it always on?
Hi Michelle! I tried messaging you a few weeks ago because I wanted to ask travel question but your Insta was gone. Love seeing Eden be an adorable toddler!!
What have you been doing for TSA check points while using your dexcom and pump? has the full body scan affected your equipment? or do you bypass it and have security just give you a pat down?
I don’t do the full body scanner right now. It’s annoying because they always try to convince me it’s ok, then make a big deal about having to get another employee to come do my pat down. Between me and Eden, security is stressful lol!
@@MichelleLord I would imagine! especially while doing so with Eden. I travel for work but will be using the Dexcom with a Tslim 2, basically the same setup as you so I was curious. I hope they dont give me a hard time when I am going through TSA in a few weeks!

So true!! We all have experienced frustration days like that. Lows are the worst! Thanks so much - I’m happy to be back ❤️

Eden has grown so much! Toddlers are so much fun but so exhausting at the same time. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
Yes she is such a big girl! She is a lot of fun :)

Hahah a much different vacation! That would have been really “cool” to have a winter resort experience 🥶!

Hi!! Yes I deactivated it for a bit. I was feeling burnt out and overwhelmed with social media. I may bring it back soon :)
Wow! I go SO high during my period. Isnt’ it weird how different we all can be?
So glad you made another video! Do you wear your true steel any where other than your mid section like thigh area?
I don't often wear in my thigh, but I quite often do my upper arm and really like it :)

I try to find a workable solution for my Period in forever
how did you find out what works?
I m on mdi so i think it is much different
What is the name of the hotel you stayed in? It looks very nice, also for a toddler :-)
It was called The Carillon, and was in North Beach Miami. Perfect for toddlers ☺️
this is awesome travel- later- 🖖
Do u need special insurance to travel?
I just have travel insurance through my employer, nothing special for T1D.
Beautiful family 😍💝😍
Thank you!! ❤️
How are you why are you not posting videos now ?
😘 P r o m o s m!!!
Is your girl having diabetes?
No, she does not. She has the same chance of developing T1D as most children do
