I heard this a couple years ago here in northern Illinois. Like May 2021. Bad thunderstorm rolling in at 1am and then the tornado sirens go off, iphone is flashing 'Tornado Warning'. Nothing like being woken up in the middle of the night by that. Scariest thing ever.
A few weeks ago, we had the same situation regarding severe weather. We were under a severe thunderstorm warning with indication of a tornado watch. The city of Indianapolis did sound the sirens. We have a number of FS 2001’s in our county.
Looks like the city once had a all Thunderbolt 1000T System and two different vendors came in and installed sirens one from ASC and the other from Whelen wonder which one did win the bid between ASC and Whelen
I love these and they would get the point across for sure. The ones we have in Ashland KY are lame, and barely audible unless you stand outside. I probably wouldn't be able to hear our siren during a loud thunderstorm. They need to switch it out.
1:00 Good thing you let them know, Its no joke. A few weeks ago i was in the living room watching tv in missouri and i got the good old tornado warning on my phone then then the sirens went off. The scary thing is that my family didnt wake up to the 100's of FS 2001's we had in town. The tornado was about 1 mile west from our house and passed us, it was a EF2. I fear for what would have happened if it had been closer and if i was asleep, not aware of the danger that was close to us.
ok sort of during like half the vid a asc-t128 sounded like it was dying and mixed with the thunderbolt 1000T that was going the same way as the corpse t-128
I was outside filming the thunder and then my Radio Shack whether radio activated and 5 minutes later the Thunderbolt activated and at that point I had to get the ; ÷// inside and in the basement. At least orrville's sirens still work except for the model 5 and the Thunderbolt to that west of the model 5. I believe that the crownhill Thunderbolt is fixed.
Gosh that ambience is creepy especially with those distant thunderbolts
At least, they were working.

This was actually really scary! The fact that this storm developed so fast and with little warning, and just how far it traveled. Glad we’re all safe.
There’s always those creepy kind of tornado sirens
Definitely hear a thunderbolt siren and possibly an ASC Siren.
Confirmed in description
Yep!
Those bell sounds at the end made it even creepier.

That ambience tho
Everyone's gansta until Medina starts the FSK extravaganza
Thank god I live in the UK where tornados are rare
"i informed my parents of the situation. They take note."

1. I can hear a train horn in the distance.
2. What model is the nearest siren from your house? How far is it?
