Thanks for showing how easy and quick it is! I just bought a Terrain and the rubber trim surrounding the windows is a bit beat from the sun. Now I know how to approach this properly. :)
I think product "303" is the best "affordable" product for both rubber and plastic trim. It doesn't just clean but absorbs into the rubber to protect it, and add longevity to the rubber. Example - new V-Belt. Let it soak in "303" for ten minutes, wipe it off and let it dry (30-60 mins) and install. The V-Belt will now last 50% longer than without "303". I've seen tests that verify this. But also This is just an opinion, not affiliated with "303" car products. I just think they are one of the few products on the market that exceeded my expectations. The bottom line - "303" works as intended. Good stuff, but is another $5-$8 more than other comparable brands, and that's a small amount to have a product perform beyond your expectations. You don't get that often in the world of auto aftermarket products.
Honestly, you could reapply as often as you would like. What I’ve noticed is about every six months needs a fresh application to stay looking like it should. Thanks for subscribing.
Will this fix the rubber "streaks" that run down the side of a car? I have a CVPI P71 that has white paint. However when it rains or when I wash my car, it tends to stain the paint.
You have to clean it first it has to be cleaned perfectly before it will restore I just got done doing a truck with this rubber seal and it is hard as heck to get back black

and for that ole black plastic trim that is now gray ... mix 1/2 baby oi gel and 1/2 mineral oil together and apply it with a soft cloth and it will look better than new in less than a second and it will last quite a long time !
Someone pinched my rubber trim when looking at my headliner which fell down. I don’t know how or why but there is a crease in my rubber trim. Any idea how to restore that… if at all possible?
Hi just wondering have you tried a produce called CeraTrim from The Last Coat? I was just wondering how your product compared to it if you have as im trying to find something that fixes my faded rubbers around my doors, thanks.
I have done it this way before and it does help. One tip I could give you is put bead maker on the paint before hand then it makes cleaning up super easy
So can that remove the gunk that builds up on the rubber window trim in the sun? It looks like mold/mildew, but won't clean off with soap or bleach. It's rough to the touch, but the seal itself is still very pliable.
did you find something that worked for you, I have what you have on my 2004 Sequoia and have not been able to restore the rubber trim. There has to be something!
You have the same issue I have ... I just did some research and it looks like this is an inexpensive do it yourself fix. ruclips.net/video/75syi9MeYHU/видео.html
How long does this last? I know that jojoba oil works for a while if you let it soak in and buff off the oxidation on the outside of the rubber, but it sometimes only lasts a few days or weeks.
I have a 04 Lincoln LS with similar rubber trim around windows. It's becoming pretty dry, some areas are completely dried and chipped off, exposing the chrome beneath. I also got some nu polish on it. Any hope to fix these? Also, is this something can be purchased? I'm not finding much info online Thank you
I don't know how "legit" this is, but have seen a couple RUclips videos where a guy used ashes from a cigarette plus super glue, to fix plastic molding and pieces on a car interior??
I gotta be honest it doesn't really look any different to me. I know there's products out there that will actually make it look nice and shiny black like it should.
That’s definitely not true. It’s not a dressing. it actually soaks into the plastic. I’ve been using this product for about five years and know the developer.
Definitely appreciate video length. Short, sweet and to the point
Glad you liked it!

I have seen videos about that as well.
Try 3m tire restorer rubber really absorbs it
Affordable?
Exactly what I need. Thanks.
Good quick fix.Thank you.
I liked and subscribed. How often... about.... do you need to reapply this if that truck lives outside rather than covered or a garage?

Sweet thanks a lot for that one! I will be getting that to put in the detailers box. 👍
Absolutely man!!
Does this provide good UV protection and is it rubber specific? Thanks
Works best on the abs style plastics. Doesn’t provide much uv protection so I always follow up with this :amzn.to/49Q8Yb8

Do you have to clean or prep the rubber before applying this ?

What about door seals
This product is already gone from retail sites. Is there a recommended replacement?

Would you suggest using tape if you don't want any of the solution to smear on your vehicle paint?

Looks new!!!!

I’m not sure without seeing it

My trim has micro cracking throughout. 10 years old. Would it work?
It won’t fix the cracking, but it should help bring it back to black if that was the original color

Depends on a lot of factors but I have had it last years and in some cases 6 months

It all can be purchased I’d try researching it. Once it gets that bad replacing it is your best bet
Howd it last after a rain?
It will stay nice and black for several rains or several months. It’s essentially hydrating the rubber.
Peanut butter works the best... Wash then coat with pb... Let is sit for about 20 then wipe off and buff. Works great

I wouldn’t advise doing that by any means.

Bingo! Looks scammy as f*uck !
You’re blind.
How does that not look different?
@@freedom_aint_freeit’s definitely not. It hydrates the rubber
At $50 a bottle????,...............I'll look for cheaper alternatives.
It doesn't do anything.. is just an appearance for a short time . Doesn't restore anything

not for that price
