- Inscryption has so many hidden secret easter eggs that most players miss, even in multiple playthroughs. Here's one of my favorites!

Another black goat one: if you sacrifice bg to the bone lord, you will get 8 bonnes on the start of each game
also if you have upgrade sigil on mantis, i will become god mantis
in the Trapper/Trader bossfight, there is rabbit card behind one trap card, this referes to act 2, where you have trap the rabbit
+ if you have upgrade sigil on worker ant, it will become ant queen

I heard that if the Ring Worm gets eaten during one of those campfire events, the survivors will not be there, and it lets you upgrade your cards without consequences. It is implied the survivors died after eating it.
Whoa, really?! So it's not so useless after all. I always thought it was just a substitute for the ring at the final trials, making it still useless if you find the code for the real ring.
I will have to try that if I ever get it in my deck.

Yeah, found out about that one on my own with the mantis god deck in Kaysee's Mod
My favorite interaction is if you use a stinky card against the moon, Leashy goes "What the hell? Can the moon even smell things" and it basically gives you a free win

@@DaLoveDonkey69420 this is actually the case in the casee's mod or however you spell it (it not an actual mod, it comes with inscription)
A few things are diffrent there, like you only being able to use the campfire twice, leshy getting annoyed when certain caysee's mod effects trigger. I tried stinkin up the moon with a stinkbug (not the stinkbug from the campain) and figured out it had the stone effect on it. Still won, i think i had a fledgling undying beaver on my side.
I didn’t even mean for it to happen on my most recent playthrough, but an old death card I put on the board had the sigil, so all it took was good ol’ Mothman to kill it

if sacrificed 9 times, the cat turns into an undead cat
oh oh oh also, in the same vein if child 13 is sacrificed 13 times, it turns into a starving child, which is a reference towards inscryptions demo
If you give the archivist a Minecraft file PO3 asks what it was doing on your computer, then his face turns into the Minecraft logo for the rest of the foght
This happens in act 1 and 2. Only one card doesn't have an effect like this after being sacrificed a certain number of times, that being the Pharoahs pets in act 2

Seems like a joke on the old phrase "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Since you're beholding a goat eye... your concept of beauty changes. The eyeball isn't smudged, goat eyes are double pupil in a line.
No, the video just didn’t realize it isn’t a black smudge - it’s literally a goat’s eye. Grazing animals like that have horizontal slit eyes like that. You pop in a goat eye and suddenly can see the goat as attractive.

There are a couple of cool interactions with the krakens. First, the bell kraken has some interactions with the daus. If the kraken is placed next to a daus chime, the kraken's damage increases, as if it were closer to the bell. Second, if a bell kraken is next to a daus and the kraken is attacked, the daus will retaliate, as if the kraken were a chime.
Also, if you place the kraken-specific submerged sigil on a beaver, it will spread to the dams when you place the beaver. All 3 cards will then reemerge as various krakens
Woah! Those are good ones! I have no idea what a daus has to do with a kraken, so it's strange that they pair up like that. But those are great!

I did it on my playthrough after beating Leshy the first time. Thought it was a hint that the Goat was another person trapped within the cards
I don't know much of the lore hidden behind the game, but it could be! The only other cards to show emotion of any kind (that I know of) are the scrybes, so it is possible.
If you open the safe before you die for the first time you can see the cake he gives you when you make it to his lodge
If you give a card with a poison seal to people to eat at the bonfire, the next bonfires will be empty and you will be able to level up your card without the risk of it being eaten.
So you can make an OP card?

There's another cool easter egg with the strange larva.
If you have an unkillable card, and they can use a fledgling totem, the fledgling sigil can be used again when it dies and goes back into your hand.
The mothman can evolve with a new name called FINAL FORM if it has unkillable and goes back into your hand as mothman, with an insect fledgling totem.
Another Easter egg including moth man: his name perfectly fits the song YMCA, so you can sing it while you’re breaking the game

If you ended up with the insect totem with the upgrade sigil AND you have moth man, it will upgrade once more into FINAL FORM
If your alpha has a upgrade sigil he'll turn into omega.

There’s a lot of puns. Long elk becomes Longer Elk, opossum becomes Awesome opossum, dam becomes God dam, etc

That 'black smudge' is the Iris. It's a goat eye. The pupils of goats aren't round like human eyes. Very nice detail
During the unfinished boss fight with p03. If you make one of this special gimmicks, every card you play a card is played randomly and then the second special gimmick every time a card dies. A card is played randomly p03 eventually say that's enough and turn off one of the gimmicks
Aaahhh i know which one you mean. I did that by accident because i hated all the other gimmicks and that resulted into an endless cycle of never ending effects.
I dont clearly remember which one is was but if i remember correctly it was that if someone gets damage someone random attacks
Base game only but for the final fight in act 1, ring worm and ouroboros both count as a ring for the trial of the ring. Also cards created by the mycologist are counted as rare card.
Base game and Kaycee's mod, combining 2 pelts at a mycologist allows the trader to trade you combined cards, even if you have extra pelts you can get up to 8 combined cards as long as one of them was fused (each category individually so 4 cards max for golden pelt trades)
And one of the most known Easter eggs is that letting a creature with poison sigil get eaten by the hunters as a campfire kills the hunters and makes all fires afterwards a free max buff, ring worm also works.
Tonight I learned if Fletchling is placed on Opossum, it will turn into Awesome Opossum and I absolutely LOVED that detail! The dev really went all out. I also sacrificed the black goat to the bone lord tonight lol, always great to get the 8 bones, "the bone lord was pleased"
Not really an easter egg but if u have a poison effect card and have thorns it instantly kills the card that attacks it from the reflect dmg alone.

If you have morsel or worthy sacrifice on a beaver, you can sacrifice the dams.

If you do the age sigil on a possum it turns into an awesome possum :)

If two opposing cards have the Sharp Quills sigil, upon attacking they will constantly deal damage to eachother until the one with the lower Hp dies
Also, if a card has the sigils Sharp Quills and Touch of Death, upon being attacked it will kill the attacker
so *thats* why the e621 posts had that specific design for the goat, makes sense

Huh, i noticed the strange eye and i knew about the weird black goat thing but i never knew they were connected somehow, very stange and interesting!
I am a little bit too late and I don't know if you knew this but in Kaycee's mode when you put 11h in the clock you get a number and when you put this number in the safe you get a hexagon music disc. It's not really a Easter egg but it's cool

For people who arent aware. Goat eyes are just wide like that and so putting the goat eye in ur head is the reason why the goat card suddenly seems more approachable.
I stabbed my eye out and didnt get magnificus’ eye as an option so i picked the goats eye and noticed that happens

If you just about to kill leshy in the first chapter in only one turn he summons the wall of grizzly’s also once activated only happens once and red eyes stay
At a bonfire if you use the adder and get them to eat it then the next time you go to a bonfire they won't be there and you can level up a card a bunch of times
"Leshy, i'll take the points back if i can pick a new eye."

I used child 13 a ton of times until it turned into a Hungry Child card. When I sacrificed that, it didn't come back.

I remember watching Markiplier picking the goat eye and his reaction to seeing the goat after was very funny.
ring worm card at one of the campfire stops in your path.
if you choose to put that card down when sacrificing one for more health, and you don't pull away, the survivors will eat it. no big deal. one less mess, and the card doesn't really do much.
until the next campfire. the survivors aren't there, so you can upgrade your card with no consequences. that's because if eaten, ringworms are seriously dangerous, and they can even cause death. the survivors died after consuming the worm, so there's no one to encounter during those stops on the map.
obviously the astral vision eyeball. the green bottle monster speaks to you, you see the world differently with more hints, all that jazz. i just started playing this so i'm a little new to the whole thing lol.

Awesome Opossum one time blew my mind
That same double iris eye allows you to see what cards you have doubles of by a mushroom popping up on the board near the card you have doubles of
That happens at any point in the game. The eyes won't affect the mushrooms appearing. It's the game's way of telling you that the Mycologist could use those cards.
That smudge is a reference to goat's eye.
Funny thing is,markiplier accidentally picket that eye and was confused as of why the goat suddenly changed lol
My instinctual reaction to the sentence "Inscryption has a ton of Easter eggs" was to pause the video and go "Oh my GOD, REALLY???" in an over dramatic voice
This was covered by MatPat from Game theory by if you play The daus, mantis god, rat king and another daus from left to right, it changes the cards names to spell out “stop”

I saw the goat in markiiers playthrough
The ring worm has two interactions that make it helpful to the player
1. When doing the Ring Trial of Leshy’s boons if you have the Ring worm, you will pass
2. If the Ring worm is consumed by the campfire survivors, they will all perish, making any campfire going forward a free upgrade.
I think it's shaped like a goat's eye, which are square

Here’s one: if you get up at the cabin, there’s a chance you might see the P03 camera near the box, but then it clips out when you get close.
Another one: if you use moth man at the ‘too early’ fish man moment, his eyes will stay red the rest of that run

I got out of the cabin and now on 8bit but dont find the new card gameplay enjoyable, can i got back somehow?
There are 3 acts in the game. Act 1 is the cabin, Act 2 is the 8bit (it is the worst part, honestly), Act 3 is better and almost like Act 1.
You can't go back to Act 1, but I suggest you get through act 2 so you can get to another fun section. After you beat the entire game, you can play a new version of the cabin section with a lot more cards and board additions.
Just keep going. You'll have fun again!
if you on the PlayStation delete the system32 in the battle against the archivist the game will crash
If you put skinks sygil on an undying roach, it will leave behind a roach leg instead of a tail
Also, if you beat Leshy while he’s cheating with bears, his eyes will remain red until the next boss fight.

Once you buy a knife, another one doesn't appear anymore, so unfortunately no. But you can have multiple scissors, which is almost the same thing.
