New respect for Buster Keaton, a true friend to Roscoe. There should be a plaque at the house for Roscoe.
Such a shame what happened to poor Roscoe....he was never able to live a good life after he was ruined....that was a terrible thing to do to him. He is at peace now. I love your vlog...thank you so much!
Oh, my gosh, Jordan. How horrible. This poor man. What a terrible injustice. You have done a great service for bringing this truth. I’m so sad for him. Buster Keaton was such an angel. I’m so thrilled to see Jah and you. Love always
When you do good things in life no one remembers
When you do bad things no one forgets .
That's right, because the bad is what's juicier tosome people, and it makes them feel better about themselves
Thank you for spreading the truth about this sad victim of injustice. You are truly a good person who deserves all the good that life brings to you.
What a heartbreaking story, my heart hurts for him. Lost everything, on his way back to direct again, then passing away... tragic. Thankfully he had Buster to stand up with him, a true friend. What a great job you did in telling how it was, thank you, Jordan! 🌼
Michael Jackson had a very large, beautifully framed picture of Mr. Arbuckle. He had that photo for many years. Lies ruin good people. Poor Roscoe. Buster and Charlie were great friends of his.
It's an important Hollywood Story, and I'm happy that it always ends with people explaining that he was exonerated. If you go back and watch some of Rosco's movies, you can see that he was ahead of his time. A true artist.
Roscoe was a comic genius and a gentleman loved by as many today as when he lived. And despite the lies and rubbish thrown at him he has the last laugh as his films still make us laugh in 2022. RIP Roscoe
I’m addicted to these vlogs . Hollywood history fascinates me so much!
Totally agree
Same here!
One of the saddest moments in Hollywood History
Somebody as young as you has an appreciation for this stuff.......... 👌
I remember hearing about actor Roscoe 'Fatty 'Arbuckel from my Dad. It was so sad how his career had ended based on lies.
Poor Roscoe life ruined by lies. Thank you again for an interesting vlog.
I saw a video recently a video of one of the Little Rascals (Darling) where she had a great story about Roscoe. There was a rabid dog on the grounds and the Rascals were having a photo shoot, everyone backed away from the dog but a little girl was trying to pet it. He ran over and picked up the girl, the mother was angry at him 😢 Roscoe started to cry and Stan Laurel took him to get ice cream.
I have alway's felt so bad for Roscoe. Never thought the story was true about him. Just so sad, but thank God for the friends he did have that helped him and stuck by him. That say's a lot about his charecter. To be that beloved by frineds.
What a sad story. It made me cry. Peace to you and Jah!!
The room Arbuckle rented at the St. Francis would also be occupied by Al Jolson, where he would suffer his fatal heart attack many years later.
Thanks for bringing attention to the true story of this man. Really sad and unfair. Thanks Jordan!
As a fan of hers, I must mention that, aside from Buster Keaton, darling, dear Mabel Normand also helped Fatty in this time, before another scandal torched her own career. They were not only colleagues, but very good pals.
The reason for the celebration was because he had just signed a contract which would earn him $1,000,000 per year the first actor ever....
Another poor guy who’s life was ruined by women.
Hello Mr. Z here - William H. A. Carr in 1962's "Hollywood Tragedy" "....3 trails of Roscoe there were charges and counter charges of bribery, perjury, suppression of evidence, intimidation, coaching of witnesses...or witnesses vanishing all together. Most of Roscoe's friends did stand by him however the bulk of the moving going public turned on him. And that killed the heart of Roscoe.
God Bless Buster, he was a true friend. Well done Jordan!
My wonderful late friend, Bartine Burkett Zane, worked with Buster Keaton in 1921 and 1927 and absolutely adored him! On the computer is an article she wrote called "The Buster Keaton I Knew"...
That was so interesting. I remember my parents talking about Fatty Arbuckle, but I only remember it being positive. Glad you made it back home safely.
That poor, poor man. May he Rest In Peace in the lavish style he was so horribly cheated out of.
Amen to that Suzanne
Wow, best video yet, brilliant. I can see why he loved that house, amazing. Poor bloke, life destroyed over something he didnt do
I, Fatty is a book by Jerry Stahl worthy of reading. Though a novel, takes this story from Roscoe's pov. Very great book! Thank you for this blog!!
Very tragic story. A sweet, beloved man and great comedian's life ruined Terrible injustice. God bless Charlie and Buster for standing by him. Thanks for handling this tale in such a respectful and sensitive manner. The house is gorgeous! So glad you were able to get inside. Loved seeing it. So good to see that it has been kept in beautiful condition. Very well done, Jordan! Thanks for this vlog!!!
Virginia Rappe is buried in the Hollywood Cemetery also she had her image grace the cover of the Sheet music for the song Let Me Call You Sweetheart that was pretty much the highlight of her short life...
I read in an article, that the intricately carved front door of his house (shown near the end of this video) was imported from Spain (cost: $12,000 dollars.) Which is equal to $152,000 dollars in 2019.
WHR helped destroy Arbuckle thru yellow journalism. Ironic that in 1925 Arbuckle directed his mistress Marion Davies in THE RED MILL under the pseudonym of William Goodrich which he used to direct films until his death at age 43!
Maybe you can do a vlog on Clara Bow if you haven't already.
Many believe that there's actually a curse that still follows the "Fatty" Arbuckle story. Hollywood has tried to make a major motion picture about the story and the three most sought after actors of their respective times were in negotiations to play him when they unexpectedly passed...John Belushi, John Candy and Chris Farley.
Thank you!
In the case of Chris Farley, David Spade even signed to play Buster Keaton.
So that's the end of it? The movie won't be made?
Well John B. and Chris were trying to burn that candle fast with the drugs and John C. was pretty bad off with his weight. I don't feel any of these were unexpected.
The actual cursed movie is some sort of eskimo movie or something. I will Google it real quick. That one is really cursed.
The Incomparable Atuk. That is a cursed script.
@@freakshowfilmfestival3591 That's what I heard.
Amazing how history continues to repeat itself...
This is such a sad story for a very sweet man.
Your videos are so awesome. All these stories about old Hollywood that I have read about and loved, and you show me where it all happened. Thanks so much!
Harold Lloyd was by far the most successful and one of richest silent stars. No scandals and knew what the audience wanted and owned his films.
Jordan, so happy you could go home for the holidays. Your grandfather is amazing!
As for having accused someone-it happens everyday.....everyday.
Jordan, thank you for sharing his story. I've always been fascinated with Roscoe and Hollywood stories such as his.
Just discovered your channel and have really been enjoying it. Your knowledge of Old Hollywood history is awesome. As someone who will most likely never see Hollywood, i appreciate your work.
How unfair and destructive that this happened to the reputation of such a talented and good man. Shows how evil and corrupt many people are to benefit from destroying someone's life. It is truly disgusting what happened to him. From Australia.
Karma will pay them a visit.. Probably already did
Still think I prefer the snow and cold of the midwest to the constant sounds of non-stop construction! Wonderful chapter today as always. Thanks.
Aileen Rosenberg same here!
You found the home I've been dreaming about my whole life!
Welcome back! Enjoyed the video, thanks.
Welcome back Jordan and Jah!! This was the vlog I've been patiently waiting for and the wait was SOOO worth it!! Great work my friend!! I love Roscoe and his story continues to fascinate me!! Thanks!
Hollywood showed it's true colors with this injustice of Roscoe Arbuckle. In hope he's having the last laugh.
WELCOME BACK JORDAN AND JAH!!!!
Wow what a sad story , awesome video Jordan !
Great video, and thank you for making this. I am an Arbuckle and was always told I was somehow related to Roscoe. His story really breaks my heart, and I’d love to know more about his case. Where did you get your information? I’ve found some on the internet, but I never heard of that Maude ( I have a lot of choice words for her but will just keep those to myself) until your video. I’d love to see someone like Clint Eastwood make a movie on Roscoe’s life.
Jordan, really enjoy the historic information you provide, as well as the excellent video's that go along with it. I always look forward to each adventure you take us on.
I'm so glad I found your vlogs and historical videos. You take us places some of us will never see or if we did would not know the history. Thank you.
HELP! I cannot stop watching Daze! Thanks Jordan for your realness, creativity and sharing Jah! XO
Loved the video. I can only imagine what the other houses on the street must have looked like. Nice place! Thanks Jordan, J
He was still an ICON! Good vlog!
These are fantastic, thank you so much for posting. I live in Wales, Uk and have taken my daughters to LA twice and have loved driving around these places dreaming about old Hollywood star’s lives. You’re very knowledgeable, this is all very interesting.
Jordan, I just discovered your videos, you're sensational!!! They're fantastic!!! I've been binge watching all videos, thank you...
It’s great to see you and Jah back in LA..loved this vlog...sad story but so neat to see inside that beautiful house!
I knew the story of Roscoe Arbuckle, but not all the details. Thank you for showing us his home Jordan. So much history still there in Hollywood, and you show it to us. Thanks again.
So enjoyable. Thank you for letting me enjoy these visits through you. So interesting ! A pat on the head for Jah !
I learn from each of these videos. Thanks, Jordan.
Just great! Been watching your videos all afternoon! what a sad story. Greetings from France;
Roscoe's story has never been told and it's an incredible one. Farley wanted to play the part. Maybe you should write it or maybe I could write it and give it to you.
What an immense injustice. . Ao unfortunate. It was as if life was destined to find a way to destroy him, his life and his legacy. Thank you for shedding light on him and his story. :) God bless Buster, Charlie and his true friends. Sadly, it echoes of todsy when media can setva narrative and rob you of your entire life's work, reputation and spirit.
Thank you Jordan, good one!! Sending kisses to Jah.
Again, thank you so much for keeping history alive. I feel so bad for Roscoe! Keep up the good work!!
Great vlog.. such unfortunate events that took place... I’m glad we were able to sneak a peek inside
This was a VERY well made video. Thank you for explaining things so well to us.
Thanks!
Thank you, Jordan, I like your point of view on this.
Great vid! Thanks for sharing!

You're welcome. Thank you
I’m catching up on your vlogs Jordan. Great attention to detail and heart. Man, how sad- wasn’t really given much of a chance in the eyes of the public huh? And what a way to mess up a person’s life. Aww man, so sad, what losses 😕. And died young. How sad. And wow! You were able to see in there, so cool. Nice work Jordan.
welcome back Jordan , and Jaw...great video..and great sunny weather.....
Poor Roscoe!!! Nobody deserves this treatment!!! I bet he never trusted anyone again.
You know that he didn't! He only trusted Buster! He was a lovable man and the stress of being lied on, would kill a Nation! So sad! 😥
Thanks for this vlog Jordan! Such a sad story about Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle. But very interesting at the same time. Also, that's cool that your friend knew the guy that the movie The Hoosiers was based on!
This was an excellent piece of work Jordan. I have quickly become addicted to your vlogs.
Your blogs are wonderful!!
Wow, gorgeous! I assumed I'd seen all your Roscoe Arbuckle videos. I am currently trying to book one of the rooms he rented at the St Francis. Thank you for telling the real story
As usual very interesting...Thanks
Great job on this video.
Jordan, I am enjoying ALL of your videos on the old Hollywood filming locations and homes IMMENSELY. These are so interesting. In fact, I am not getting anything done since I found your channel several days ago. Lol Thank you.
Boy WRH was a real ass apparently...thanks again for this great coverage! I just stumbled across your channel about a week ago and now I am addicted! Love the vlogs and all the places you cover - go luck to you my friend and keep it rolling!
Thanks for this. I didn't know what really happened. Sad. Fantastic to see inside the house a little. 👍
You have done such a superb job on this vlog Jordan
Thank you
Good story! Well done!
I have seen his movies online and on the classics channel. He was great! I had read about this years ago somewhere I don't remember that article covering the full story. Thanks for going g deeper into it.💖
I always thought this was such an injustice and not handled properly. Thanks for sharing information and great video
Aww Jordan, I love watching your old vlogs. God Bless you and Jah! 🙏😇❤️
Thanks for revealing the true events of Rosco`s demise ,what an injustice.Keep up the great work Jordan!
Tragic.. the more you read about him, he really seemed beloved by all
Really enjoyed going back and watching some Vlogs. Your storytelling of Roscoe's life is informative and honest. So sad how he was used.
Informative video, sad he died so young, glad his friends helped him :)
That's the problem with the; "ALL women should be believed no matter what" montra of the me to movement without regards to the innocent until PROVEN guilty part of the DUE PROCESS of law....there's been a LOT of that lately!
I love your videos! I also love that you really know your old Hollywood history. Awesome! :)
Well done vlog. Love Hollywood history.
The name Rosco used was Will B Good.
Arbuckle used the pseudonym William Goodrich as a director in his later years. It was supposedly as a joke that Keaton suggested Will B. Good, which Arbuckle never used. Using "Will B. Good" would have been tantamount to admitting some type of wrongdoing.
I'am new to your channel. I love it! Thanks!
I love watching your blogs is so interesting I love all the old Hollywood actors and actresses is so cool what u do xxx
Such a sad and unfair story poor Roscoe :( life is so unfair . Great execution and vlog as usual I guess you like the sunny weather and not the heat . Glad you had a sneak peek inside . The grounds looked lovely .So you’re juicing again now ? Good luck I need to start again . Have a great weekend ! 👍🏻💙🎥🎬🦁😎🐶👍🏻
