    New respect for Buster Keaton, a true friend to Roscoe. There should be a plaque at the house for Roscoe.

    Such a shame what happened to poor Roscoe....he was never able to live a good life after he was ruined....that was a terrible thing to do to him. He is at peace now. I love your vlog...thank you so much!

    What a heartbreaking story, my heart hurts for him. Lost everything, on his way back to direct again, then passing away... tragic. Thankfully he had Buster to stand up with him, a true friend. What a great job you did in telling how it was, thank you, Jordan! 🌼

    Michael Jackson had a very large, beautifully framed picture of Mr. Arbuckle. He had that photo for many years. Lies ruin good people. Poor Roscoe. Buster and Charlie were great friends of his.

    It's an important Hollywood Story, and I'm happy that it always ends with people explaining that he was exonerated. If you go back and watch some of Rosco's movies, you can see that he was ahead of his time. A true artist.

    I saw a video recently a video of one of the Little Rascals (Darling) where she had a great story about Roscoe. There was a rabid dog on the grounds and the Rascals were having a photo shoot, everyone backed away from the dog but a little girl was trying to pet it. He ran over and picked up the girl, the mother was angry at him 😢 Roscoe started to cry and Stan Laurel took him to get ice cream.

    Hello Mr. Z here - William H. A. Carr in 1962's "Hollywood Tragedy" "....3 trails of Roscoe there were charges and counter charges of bribery, perjury, suppression of evidence, intimidation, coaching of witnesses...or witnesses vanishing all together. Most of Roscoe's friends did stand by him however the bulk of the moving going public turned on him. And that killed the heart of Roscoe.

    WHR helped destroy Arbuckle thru yellow journalism. Ironic that in 1925 Arbuckle directed his mistress Marion Davies in THE RED MILL under the pseudonym of William Goodrich which he used to direct films until his death at age 43!

    Many believe that there's actually a curse that still follows the "Fatty" Arbuckle story. Hollywood has tried to make a major motion picture about the story and the three most sought after actors of their respective times were in negotiations to play him when they unexpectedly passed...John Belushi, John Candy and Chris Farley.

    • @mattmischnick2926
      @mattmischnick2926 5 лет назад +11

      Well John B. and Chris were trying to burn that candle fast with the drugs and John C. was pretty bad off with his weight. I don't feel any of these were unexpected.
      The actual cursed movie is some sort of eskimo movie or something. I will Google it real quick. That one is really cursed.

    Great video, and thank you for making this. I am an Arbuckle and was always told I was somehow related to Roscoe. His story really breaks my heart, and I’d love to know more about his case. Where did you get your information? I’ve found some on the internet, but I never heard of that Maude ( I have a lot of choice words for her but will just keep those to myself) until your video. I’d love to see someone like Clint Eastwood make a movie on Roscoe’s life.
