Laura rocked this!! Steve made the game winning shot a beautiful moment for these two...And I must say this cheer got us excited for step for church. Iconic!! It was their world 🌎..
I love how Laura asked Steve for advice after being mistreated by Cassie. I am glad he inspired her and deep down she did the same for him. And spoiler alert Laura, when you are older you will accept Steve's marriage proposal !
And I still do the Bring It On cheer whenever I'm cold... "I said Brrrrr 👏🏼👏🏼 it's cold in here 👏🏼👏🏼 there must be some toros in the atmosphere... 👏🏼👏🏼 I said o-e-o-e-o.. Ice Ice Ice.. break it down..."
I love this episode great lesson never judge a book by its cover in Steve and Lauras case and sometimes giving someone a chance is all the confidence that they need to prove themselves worthy.
Wow, i almost cried. i will ALWAYS love and be grateful for Family Matters. i remember being a child, anxiously for Friday to come. Having that special t.v. family time at night to kick off the weekend. i almost hate remembering how things used to be, but i am so very glad to have lived through probably the last great decade of human history. It was all downhill after 1999. We had some good times since then, but it really has felt like more bad has happened than good. It’s just really bittersweet.

But, in actuality, Laura was as much a nerd as Steve. She just had style, leaned into her natural beauty, was coordinated and had a more appealing personality.
Wait! They are totally facing the wrong way! They're supposed to be facing their home side. Also, the court is about half the size of a real court! LOL smh
We just breeze by the fact that she called Laura a thug. Lol. I now see how problematic these 80s and 90s shows are. They were sweet but full of problems. They made Laura's character threaten her and then prove herself. Then a laugh reel after calling Laura a thug. Lol. Laura was better and instead of that being enough she had to be talked down to then prove herself. Wow!
Cassie Lynn was never funny, she was a bitchy stuck up snob with a constant attitude and being jealous of anyone for any kind of reason no matter big or small the issue might be
I forgot I uploaded this. It's my only video and if I was only going to have one, this is worth it.
I love Laura's hairstyles throughout the season
Laura looks great in this season
@@anamgal74I didn't like her short hairstyles
There was always a moral or a happy ending with these shows in the 90s I really miss those days
Yup it’s a product of society further delving into sins honestly. It’s all about lust and greed these days.

OMG ME TOO…

Yeah no idea why this lives rent free in my head but there it is
Me too I’ll never forget this cheer lol.
I was in high school when the Winslow kids were in high school. Clips like this take me back to my high school marching band days.
Laura put that girl in her place lol :P

I totally agree
I loved Laura!!
only 90's sitcom will have the slow motion scenes and happy endings.lol sigh... oh i miss the 90's :)
Wow. I Never Seen A Slow-Motion Scene In A 70's Nor 80's Sitcom.
Love Laura. Know this cheer from heart.
"What a thug" lmao, gets me everytime!😂😂😂
As a child, I totally didn't catch onto the latent racism being addressed by this story, but now that I'm older I realize its brilliant.
Cassie… the rest of the squad were followers. The point of the storyline was to be a leader. Cassie, however was racist.
Same. That "what a thug" comment is wild.
I think it was more of her being a bitch than anything.
I didn't think it's that it's the same in high school for more than just race
oh and btw if you ever call me geek again you,ll be digesting those pom poms lol
angel johnson You'll be digesting those pom poms.
what a thug
LaKya Hanna lol thats what i said
those cheerleaders learn so quickly
chinto1984 not all of them because she thinks it's a waste of time.
chinto1984 right hahhaha

@@allencollins5666 she didn't do that
I remember wanting to be like Laura when I grew up. She was always so classy and took the high road on silly stuff
Thank you! I've had a garbled version of this cheer in my head since the '90s, and now it's clear.
She called Laura a THUG 😨
@icefire5855 Good ol’ fashioned racebait🤣🤷🏾♂️
I love how Laura is hip, cool and fun…untiiiiiil you PISS HER OFF. Then HARRIET WINSLOW COMES OUT! Lol!!!
Looks like she showed Becky!
DrB_MD i know, right? 😄
her named was Cassie Lynn, not Becky.
678BUMPERLOVER Nah she Becky lmao
678BUMPERLOVER Cassie Lynn night as well be Becky. 😂
U better call becky with the good hair😂
30 years later and I still hear this cheer in my head. 2024 lol One of THE best TVs shows ever made.
I forever have that cheer in my head haha
I remember doing this dance lol
Same
Same here.
You got your S, You got your S
My ass ALWAYS question How the HeLL those cheerleaders lean that movie so quickly??? That was amazing
As a cheerleader in the 90's, we straight stole this routine. 😂😂😂
I still say and do the move...."NO, I DON'T THINK SO!"😂😂❤❤
I love Mother Winslow in the background!!! 🥰🥰
She always believed in Steve and Laura to be together ❤️
The lil jiggy bop at do ya do ya got me hooked! Laura did that
It says a lot about the cheerleaders that they learned a new cheer after seeing it once.
God I miss the 90s... 😔
Best episode
She ends up marrying Steve Urkel anyway. See how fate does takes a turn making her eat her own words?
Yes for sure. Steve "wore her down"! and she fell for him when she grew up.
Thank you for uploading and sending me on that ride...
Back Down Memory Lane ♡☆♡
"Steve you were right anything is possible." "Would you marry me?" "Except that" The she asks to to marry him.
"GIMME A V !!! (V !!!) U GOT YO V, U GOT YO V, GIMME AN H !!! (H !!!), U GOT YO H, U GOT YO H, GIMME AN S !!! (S !!!), U GOT YO S, U GOT YO S, NOW HUSH !!! Love it..Stand Alone if you got to.
Oh how the years have past
That step back
I remember it like yesterday.
do-yah do-yah *clap clap*
"What a thug!" Hahahahaha
nope Laura was and BTW if you ever call me geek again you'll be disgusting those pom poms lol
I would’ve smacked her into next week
Quoth the misplaced valley-girl.
Laura started stomp n shake cheering.
No doubt...
that dance tho
Anything was possible because Laura ends up marrying him 😌 (accepting his proposal for marriage).
She would say yes someday to Steve!!
Laura was my girl❤🎉
Kellie is such a talented lady.
Laura's cheer way hip hop like😊
Damn Urkel. The boy can play.
Excellent Work!
That video was amazing I mean Steve urcle is amazing at basketball for real for real
I remember the cheer being a lot better when I was a kid ... it was whack lol
Heck I thought it was whack as a kid lol. Urkel was the true star
PlayMyMusic92 not wack at all. It was great for it’s time.
that cheer was hype
I sing this whenever I'm putting together a desk with the letter stickers.
Thanks Kid Furyyyy
Ha ha Oh sitcoms with there happy endings. In the real world he would have missed that shot and everybody would hate him lol.
This was when tv shows were tv...
When moves had values and made sense...good ole days
Wait a minute! Steve had mad handles on that ball! Lol!
family matters 90s !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Urkel with the last second shot to win the game..after the 3rd quarter?!?
But, in actuality, Laura was as much a nerd as Steve. She just had style, leaned into her natural beauty, was coordinated and had a more appealing personality.
Cassie Lynn Nubbles...Stuck Up Girl
Anyone notice the other team had 18 secounds and they put a quick shot instead of waiting to get fouled. LOL
Michael Miles lol 90's TV love it
The underdogs saved the day! What a novel idea for a sitcom. And so realistic too. 🙄
lol the 90's
I didn't watch Family Matters to the end, but didn't Steve and Laura get married? Not Laura and Stephon?
They were engaged to be married
@@JayFoxFire I'd like to think they did even if we didn't get the last season.
Yup
They got married it was implied that it’s a done deal. So yes Steve and Laura get married. No way she didn’t marry Stephon.
A pleasant high school memory when I wanted to be a cheerleader alas a knee injury put an end to that dream
This cheer had high schools in a chokehold!
Wait! They are totally facing the wrong way! They're supposed to be facing their home side. Also, the court is about half the size of a real court! LOL smh
lol same

One of Laura's finest moments. She stood up for herself, led the coolest cheer, helped the team win the game, and showed up that asshole Cassie Lynn.
More of a show, than a pep rally for the team.
(not that I didn't like it back in 93 or whatever.)
It was '91.
Laura's was better then the captain was
I never did like cassie lynn
neither did i, if i was Laura, i would have freaking strangled her.
Who did?
Nubbles 😂😂😂😂
Idk how they fit 10 players on a 20 foot court 😂😂😂😂
That Cassie Lynn chick is SO annoying. I'm glad she was never seen again after season three.
VHS? BHS? what is the name of the school?
+Melissa Stewart Vanderbilt High School
They were playing against Betamax 😉
Where the hell is the 3 point line?? This was the 90s!
So the 3pt line wasn't a thing in the 90s? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
No it was. It wasn’t on this court though.
1:07
"thats wassup"
They don't even have a 3-point line
Cassie Lynn was the funniest!
No she was the meanest.
celticsdude she was horrible to both Laura and to Steve!
Cassie Lynn was never funny, she
was a bitchy stuck up snob with a constant attitude and being jealous of anyone for any kind of reason no matter big or small the issue might be
"Let me think.. no."
I hated Richie too and i found it comical how Stephan was a ladies man and smooth they exaggerated him lol
