Martin, of the DMFV Indoor Team, shows us at the Leipzig Modell-Hobby-Spiel that you don't need a lot of space to fly the Multiplex Acromaster to its full potential. I have owned the Acromaster and can testify to the skill and experience need to perform RC aerobatics to this advanced level...because I did not get vaguely close to flying my Acromaster like this outside. So exciting to see young pilots like Martin performing like this at such a young age.

That young man is an amazing pilot! This young man makes it look so so easy and that's what makes a great pilot. It should never look hard.
I don't understand why people can give this young man a thumbs down, the only thing I can think of is jealousy, he has more skill than I will ever have. A huge thumbs up
One was from a cheese puff who thought him holding the wing and hovering above his head was dangerous and a few others comparing it to a video game. Utterly clueless as to the dedication, time and effort...and skill it takes to fly like that. They are a minority though so who cares. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

I used to be professional as well.... sadly no longer able to fly the same.

@Grumpy Cat 5 year old engineer just solved the technology challenge. She used the ultra high tech combination of a drone, a flash light, and a thin, conducting string attached to the cell phone she uses as a remote. She calls it "Flash By String-technology", with a small token to her source of inspiration, the flying Rainbow Flash from My Little Pony. Lockheed Martin is considering hiring this Wiz Kid, but her parents wonder if it's a bit to early to go the career route, since she hasn't learned to properly read and write yet. Lockheed Martin doesn't see that as a hindrance, as literacy levels in the US are falling already, and one person won't do much harm to the statistics.
Parents have replied that they don't care to much about statistics, but more about their daughter. And that developing killer drones won't be the right job for a five year old.
It's said that Lockheed Martins reply to this was going to include that this is no problem, as the drone can attack children too, but this communique was stopped by internal control because it had spelling errors.

Out of all the videos I've seen from this event,this is the best one.no helium inside the plane, just pure skill.my father had a transmitter in my hand as soon as I could walk.that was 30 years ago.I had my bronze and gold wings by the time I was 12.so it's fantastic to see this little champion.
The way I learned to fly was like this,I was probably 8-9 and my dad would just hand me a transmitter and walk away.he was the club instructor for 25 years so I guess he knew what he was doing.I used to put the adults to shame most weekends.I wish more kids would get involved in our great hobby.I had great times with my father and those memories are something I cherish alot more now that he is gone.Aero modeling is something u can get alot of joy out of.

I wonder if the transmitter is just for show, and the kid's using mind control to fly the plane, or the plane has artificial intelligence, and wants to please it's master by doing these stunts. Saying this kid can go far would be an understatement, he's already come further than many grown up pilots would go, with far more training hours under their belts. Respect, Martin!

Landing properly is a great nightmare for me too.

Absolutely Amazing Skills and Flying there Dom ,You Just can See The Way he is looking at his plane making sure its doing exactly what he's asking of it maximum authority and concentration and was amazing to watch just wish was longer as was very enjoyable watching him Push that Envelope or should i say Origami lol and to think some people actually thumbs down the video has got me scratching me head !! perhaps they didnt like the music or perhaps the model had too many decals lol Well Done Kid Your a Magician with those sticks look forward to more from Martin in the near future , Cheers Essential RC another Fantastic Video.

My question is how many planes did he wreck before getting this good!
Maybe 0 beacuse i think he flys in the simulator like half thousand hours getting this skill ... did you know what mean ,,having rich parents"? 40% of teens can do that but only 5-10% of all has money to: simulators, new motors, servos,accu itc. And to buy expensive models whoose maybe crash in few minutes...

@@ban5176 I'd disagree that most of it is money. A simulator isn't insanely expensive. Mine was $60. Cheaper than my first plane. Much cheaper. This is pure skill.

This man child is awesome . These are the skills that you have when you get to go out inside, not spend $1,000 on a Xbox but something that will actually get damaged if you mess up. Real life skills and reaction over something that's actually fun ability to fix something and repair something that you have.
I've gotten pretty comfortable with hovering, but can't figure out those harriers! Need more practice!

i am completely new to fixed wings, but that plane HAS to have some sort of flight control board or maybe some helicopter type propeller because otherwise how the heck did it not flip into the ground when he pushed it?
