I remember when I was a child and buying the balsa wood rubber band airplanes, we spent a small fortune on those things, funny you can still buy them today, only problem they would just break to easy, See these planes and I could only dream of such a thing back then.
Great video! Glad you included bloopers, such as crashes into walls. Didn't see any WW2 fighters, but maybe some day? I suppose WW1 models fly at more sedate speed which are easier to video and appreciate flying in confined spaces.
I had no idea such a thing existed but I could spend all day there this is awesome they look like they're flying at scale speeds so much fun to watch👍👍
JMO, but the flight characteristics of these is much more realistic than those flown outdoors. They are slower and smoother, not screaming and jerking if you know what I mean.
Part of why I love indoor flyers, they just feel so much more right. The Cub there was a bit faster than I'd prefer but it looked kinda heavy and they've always been a little fast.
The absence of wind allows the small and light models to fly realistically. Would be nice to have a bigger venue, however. This gymnasium is a bit small.
Defiantly the best sounding model at the show,on Sunday a real p51 flew over popham while we where packing up and it didn't sound as this model. The radio install is also so neat, would make a good model to feature in a magazine
Thats real cool , jea,for shure i Love the 1:3 er Kits , hughe & loud! Like the GallopeinGhost with the 6Z Kolm engine ! What a Beast! , but for more detail & real scale Flight Chars is that little scale the Banger! , so , i have to Made me a Red Baron F.Wolf & a Mustang ! ( that Lindbergmodel looks amazing ! , real nice scale ! Love it !
This was great to see. I haven't flown indoor for close to 5 years now and really miss it. When we lived in UK back in the noughties I used to own and run a business called Indoor Flyer and sold equipment to the far corners of the world. Back then there was not a lot of choice in RTF models, so people still designed and built their own.
DH53 Humming Bird. ruclips.net/video/9y3PQxTctHA/видео.html It won the competition last year and the owner won the competition again this year with a different model. Videos soon.
Wow. Those small RC planes are stunning! Anyone know of a realistic RC plane that is purchasable? Or are all of the ones shown in the video custom made? I have done some research and can't find a nice micro plane.
May I know where to buy those small parts.? I am from Malaysia l did build a few big planes but never have chance to fly. I am thinking move to indoor flying. Tq
Fantastic models, excellent workmanship. My only slight concern is that they all appear a trifle on the heavy side and fly quite fast. I guess that comes with the control systems and batteries A well-built and well trimmed very light free flight model can actually be more realistic, flying at a low wing loading, in slow wide circles. The RC models fly at higher speeds and the control inputs make them jittery

So relaxing to see those small scale planes... No stress... Thanks

Masterpieces! Any of them...
Terrific video, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
fabulous. thanks for the fun.
Welcome 🙏
Some exceptional flying models and great photography. The Box Kite did surprisingly well...dragging itself around at almost a scale speed. Wonderful.
Appreciate that feedback. Thanks David 👍
Not at all... Thank you for a nice time.
Awesome guys! Great to see scale planes.
Amazing models!
I love the awkwardness of everybody after watching planes crash into a wall.
Wow, beautifull! 🤩
Gossamer marvels great video
Outstanding scale building and flying. A true inspiration for us all. Thank you so much for sharing.
Appreciate the comment Rob. 😉
This is magical!
Just love all the disciplines of model airplanes, great video as always 🙂
I love it 👍

They are all super light. That’s the difference
Thank you. My favourites were the De Havilland Tiger Moths. Particularly the Amy Johnson Tiger Moth. I’m from Yorkshire, Amy was a Yorkshire lass.
pretty cool
Love the scale speed of them ☺️
Yeah, it's still too fast
Always lead your turns with rudder & then hold a bit of rudder in the turn! Makes for much more graceful and smooth turns.

Incredible. Harder work than maintaining a real aircraft!

@@EssentialRC Awesome. Thank you!
TOP SHOW DE BLA CADA UM MAIS LINDO QUE O OUTROS VALEU BOM VOOUUU
Love this so much TY! QUESTION - what is the secret to a good 'floaty' indoor craft? Gearing and prop? Covering? Any suggestions? Thank you!
Build it light. Good starting project is a kit from www.microaces.com
Wow. Those small RC planes are stunning! Anyone know of a realistic RC plane that is purchasable? Or are all of the ones shown in the video custom made? I have done some research and can't find a nice micro plane.
Look on www.microaces.com. Very rewarding kits to build.
How do you make these? Are there any RTF indoor packages?
Hobby Zone/eFlite make a range.
Sport Cub S 2 612mm span
I didn’t know there were remote controlled airplane this small. Where can I learn more and what are the resources for purchasing these kits, etc.?
Start with microaces.com
Are there any indoor ww1 kits for sale?
NICE! whats is the name of the model on the thumbnail?
De Havilland DH53 Humming Bird
How do you land these planes?
Very easily!
Straight course and fly against the wall.
😃
Are any of these available in kit form?
Try www.microaces.com
A lot of the ww1 fighters are Microaces kits
😀👍🛩️
Does this planes has aileron or rudder only?
Some do, some don't.
May I know where to buy those small parts.? I am from Malaysia l did build a few big planes but never have chance to fly. I am thinking move to indoor flying. Tq
Recommend you look at kits on www.microaces.com
Pity my chipmunk wasn’t featured on here flying, but it was great talking to you, had a blast.
Thought I had included a clip of everything buddy. Suspect I filmed a whole flight. Will share when I'm back from my travels early next week...
@@EssentialRC no problem. You filmed really well, glad I didn’t take out your camera with my biplane 😅
Excellent flying and very well modeled craft, cheers for the video Dom 😎
Np. Woke me up! 🤣
@@EssentialRC got 3rd in the kitscale with the Chipmunk, hope you enjoy your travels.

Does James May know about this . . .
Beautiful video lovely models but music awful.....sorry
Subjective. I only used it for the pit walk...not the flying 🙄
Stop with the annoying MUZAK - it’s horrible and helps nothing!!!
Couldn't watch because of awful noise.
The music, if that is what you are referring to, is just for the pit walk 🙄
@@EssentialRC No need.
@@flasheart49 In your opinion. It's subjective. You can always turn the volume down.
