1:30 That voice crack though 😂😂😂👌
🤣🤣🤣
"[Your company's name here] Firecracker Grand Prix" has a nice ring to it.
* 1:30
Me in middle school (for multiple reasons)
1:30
He didn't serve his stop and go penalty, nascar had to call him back behind the wall, Jeff Burton did not finish the race...
"Oh no! I messed up!"
Why
@@Tysonplayz-jj5rh Because I didn't know you could turn to the right on a racetrack!
Michael Yoo oh shut up
@@yikemoo it was a left turn tho
Jeff Burton’s #31 CAT car used to be my favorite when I was a young kid watching Nascar with my dad. Im not sure why it was my favorite, but he was a great driver to be routing for.
A little before your time, his #31 Cingular car was my go-to
Y’all talking about who’s gonna win. I’m talking about how the spray painted ninja turtle is still there
Where
Jay Tee where?
At 2:03, see at the end of the blue "turtle" strip where it's green? Corey LaJoie painted it there.
This is so funny that Jeff did a few voice cracks. But for 1:31, that almost sounded perfect for that crack.
Top 10 NASCAR incidents GONE WRONG
Imagine he just went straight into the wall
I guess that’s what people would call a live epic fail.
That’s the clearest I’ve ever heard that man talk before. Lol
It could be worse. They could have gotten Ward.
#truth
Man those cars sound amazing
Burton should come out of retirement to come back racing he ran that good (my opinion)
Buxx_Buxx if he were with the right team he could still win jeff burton has always been underrated
Mid Noob1 pry considering the cars look easy to drive compared to what they were in the 90s lmfao.
That’s a nascar fan can’t even tell when someone fucks up. He didn’t run that good. One mistake on a track configuration like that can cost you so much time.
Aaron Saylor dude it’s my opinion
Buxx_Buxx I mean... Technically it’s not an opinion.
1:30 the voice crack lol
1:43
Okay, this was actually pretty funny 😂
*Cuts corner in practice*
NASCAR: It’s just practice, not racing here
F1: 5 SECOND PENALTY FOR FERRARI!!!!
Me: But Ferrari didn’t even....
F1: Doesn’t matter, 5 second penalty for them
"Jeff, it's James..."
That’s nothing compared to the 2 blue flag violations at Spain
In spain, you get penalized for overtaking🤣
I would've taken a ride with him.
is there any track limits in nascar?
0:40
1:01
1:26
Don't want any more penalties based on judgement calls than we already have
NASCAR basically says, “If it’s tarmac, it’s fair game, unless we tell you prior to the race that it’s not.”
For example, the area inside curbing and below the yellow lines at superspeedways are illegal, but the area to the inside of the white line at Phoenix and at the Roval such as the ones you pointed out are able to be used.
Track limits are like training wheels. The big boys don't need them.
1:01 and 1:26 are part of the oval already, so I assume it's fair game. Even at 0:40 there's a wall in the outside, so I assume that will be the natural track limit lol
@@Reydriel then what's the point of having a white line?
Jeff Burton and Dale Jr sound the same when they're excited.
That voice crack
I was waiting for something like this to happen 😂
Well, it was clearly on purpose.
This is Jeff Burton First time in a Toyota on the Roval at Charrlotte and i can't Belive that Corey Lajoe Spray Painted a Ninja turtle on the final Conner at the night/day time I wonder it's still there.
It was during the race, the track officials had a good laugh about it and kept it
track so tough, not even jeff burton going slow could not mess up
better than u will ever do....
Can tell he was loving it.
There's a chicane in NASCAR?!?!?!? :O
Nice Driving.
"YEAH PENALIZE ME RICK, I DONT CARE" 😂😂😂 GOTTA LOVE OL JEFF BURTON
They're great on tv but I miss watchn jeff and jr race. With these new kids it just ain't the same. But what do I know
Jr was and will forever be garbage wasnt nothing special to watch on the track.
@@hell-sol5240 He's definitely not good enough to have had the amount of fans that he did (if talent were directly proportional to fans at least), but saying Jr is garbage is doing him a great disservice. He's 32nd on the all time wins list. Only 31 other drivers can say they've won more than him. That's pretty impressive, considering the 100s of people that have been in Nascar.
That voice crack tho hahaha
That’s not a pace car 😂
M Neuwirth it’s a *fast* pace car
You are correct. That's the NBC show car.
It’s a nascar
@@icrashing2873 No.
The thumbnail looks like a video game lol
I’m good at this track in NASCAR Rivals.
I'd like to see F1 cars on this.
@The Treez while way faster no way in hell would it be that fast
@Joshua Fancher to say it would blaze through the course a minute faster is absolutely asinine
I think NBC should alternate Jeff and Dale jr in the car each week. Jeff takes a lap one week. Dale the next.
this is what nascar needs. more road courses. the restrictor plate oval tracks are boring.
i disagree, when you are used to formula 1 and you see these cars go road course, it feels like they drive in slowmotion. I like it on the oval more (y)
Why was the NBC Cup car with Burton driving had the Playoff Markings I understand this was the eliminating Round of 16 Playoff race but was it really necessary to have the playoff markings on the nbc car?
He clipped the curb coming into the middle section of the chicane, there was no recovering that
he hit the stairs once lol
"Pace car"
5 second penalty for leaving the track and gaining an advantage
what would they have done if he had wreaked
Nothing
5 second penalty for cutting the chicane
Why did it look so slow from that upper view?
Because it was just a demo lap. He wasn't pushing it.
Wtf I had a add I have to wait 15 seconds to skip lol
I think chase is getting the win
That comment aged well.
F
Nvm
F
Then yet again he's currently in 7th..
Baaaaaaaaaa
From 1:30 to the end was a epic fail
Jeff Burton need to come back to race
Jeff burton says look I can't see
@NASCAR - That's NOT a pace car Mayor Burton was driving. *Facepalm* -_-
STOP THE CAR YOU HECK
Dont think the 'world of outlaws sprints' would do well there
No, they use real race tracks.
Jeff Burton is best at blocking people on Twitter.
F1 races in Singapore and Abu Dhabi. Stop complaining about how hot it is in North Carolina.
Also, It’s a little harder to cool down in a closed cockpit.
Hot is hot.
"use all the track" track limits shmack flimits amirite
Whoopsie
I’m glad they let them drive the car hard now like when the let kp drive it he was all in at the glen
Remind me again why he retired.
Race
Jeff Burton blows.
Well it’s his first time there
Remember how many guys crashed and spun on practice on both events but Jeff made a very simple mistake very like great road racers like Bell and Briscoe did the same year
NASCAR is mega confusing along with Indycar. Not only are the leagues confusing but also the track limits. Apparently they don’t exist
Not confusing, you just gotta learn what's going on.
Who else for Kyle Busch?
MotorsportFan145 rowdy nation forever!!
@@mau88ize 100%
@@randomkdm I disagree with the no talent part bud he has over 200 wins across the 3 national series so I don't think he has no talent but ok
RandomKDMfanboi you say no talent to a guy that’s is in the top 15 list with the most cup series wins, over 200 victories, 2 championships xfinity and cup, his own team, winning in every cup track, and you call him NO TALENT???
@@mau88ize he does not have the, most, cup, wins
Not a pace car
What's the point of having track limits.... the point is to stay within the white lines not go over them. NASCAR needs to do something about that.
From what I can tell, Nascar seems to only care if you are crossing a yellow line, which is why on so many of the cookie cutter tracks every single driver will go under the white line and cut the corner on the start finish straight. I do not understand it either
If it's paved and not a chicane, then it's fair game in Nascar's eyes.
0:38 then why have a curb right there? Why not have the white line, which is supposed to be a do not cross line all the way down the straight.
White lines are fair game to cross. You can cross yellow lines, but not to advance position.
Keep your pussy ass shit out of NASCAR.
He was so slow in the corners f1 cars could probably do that at 170mph
Wrong
Conrad Benford Most of the corners he’s wrong about but with the grip a f1 cars have they’d probably be about 20 seconds faster so he’s half wrong half right
No way... for real tho?
It sounds like F1 drivers don’t need a lot of talent to make corners
F1 cars is like driving with autopilot
I would hate to watch that race.
Dustin Jackson well the race was fun to watch for this year
Better than most F1 races, but whatever
They must be desperate if their creating crap tracks like this at an Oval
You obviously have never been to Daytona -- that road course is as legendary as the oval. Besides, they had to do something to appease those of us who thought there should be a road race in the playoffs while not breaking any contracts with the tracks themselves.
This is a million times better than the road courses of most ovals. Besides, it lets amateur track days happen there.
Does he not know track limits? But it’s nascrap I’m sure it’s okay. Any other racing series after the three mistakes I counted would bring to the pit lane for a penalty in quick second. I’ll always say nascrap isn’t real racing. It’s wwe on wheels
Aaron Saylor go wear a yellow dress
didnt break any rules other than when he blew through the chicane
Waaahhh
