In previous quad, gymnasts' routines were being scrutinised for the slightest pause and they lost the connection. This routine with some pause and balance check was rewarded with connection bonus
I think in this quad a slow connection is credited by the D panel But the E panel will deduct for slow connection So if the connection isn’t fast enough it ends up amounting to nothing
She didn’t use any extra arm swings or other body movements to generate momentum from the side tuck jump 1/1 into the side hop 1/1 though, which is how the D panel decides if a connection between two dance elements happened or not. She also submitted an inquiry in an attempt to to get credited for the attempted 6.8 D, which means that the judges got to watch that sequence again in slow motion. They could’ve deducted her more if it was appropriate.
So good! I love the side series and Amazing triple twist dismount, so high!
Lovely and clean!!!
i dont think the judges should've credited her tuck full to straight full jump connection either... clearly there was a slight balance check

You gave the DCC all connected but you didn’t give it a series bonus which would have you a 6.6

Where was the candle in the candle mount?
I cant undestand why the side tuck jump 1/1 is D andd the side streched jump 1/1 is C
Because of the stupid FIG they downgraded it this quad
They will donwgrade the tuck jump 1/1 next quad dont worry lol at fig
I think because your feet are farther from the beam during the jump and you have to change shape to land. I’d guess that that increases the fall risk.
Jumps performed in side position (starting in side position and ending in side position) worth +0.1 than if performed in cross (regular) position.
