I would love it if you could do a Global VS Local flood analysis! There are strong arguments on both sides of the coin and it would be good to find out how the waters held back from the tops of the mountains at 15 cubits above the peaks in a local flood! You might guess I an persuaded with Global, but it would be an interesting debate and investigation of which words in English, a very new language, are reflecting what Hebrew (Eberew from Eber) actually means! I’m surprised that neither of you mentioned that you looked up what “men of old” in gen 6:4 focusing on the word “old” means in the original Hebrew. The root word for men of old means eternal ones, men from eons, from eternity, without end. These are talking about the Angels not regular men. And if you look up the word man in that verse it’s totally different than the word “man” in genesis when God created man regarding Adam. These were eternal beings that have no end and were males. Fallen angels. And their offspring the giants also became men of renown.
