Thank you for sharing this. I just watched it because my husband came across your video and recommended it, I am very glad I did. This is a very sensitive topic that a lot of Christians avoid, which is very sad. I was borned in Mexico and I was raised in a catholic church. I never read the Bible (from beginning to end) until few years ago because my husband encouraged me to do so. From the moment I read the 10 Commandments, I couldn't stop replaying my religious life as a catholic. Every time that I worshipped virgin Mary and the saints, because that's how I was tought! And the Sabbaths, the 4th commandment that starts with "REMEMBER.....". My husband and I have done so much research about keeping the Sabbaths and the truth is that there is no evidence that Yeshua (His real Hebrew name, not Jesus) nor the Apostles ever changed it! I remember my husband making these questions: 1. If Yeshua were here today, will He be looking for a Synagogue or a church/temple? 2. Will Yeshua be worshipping on Saturday or Sunday? And 3. Will Yeshua be reading from the Torah (Old Testament) or New Testament? If Yeshua nailed those commandments, why do we only have to keep 9 of the 10 commandments? And if Yeshua "broke" the Sabbath, how can He be our Messiah? He had no sin! If you are reading this, please read your Bible, from Genesis to Revelations. Please read other versions; every translation is an interpretation, and unless you go to the source, Hebrew or Greek, you are missing out valuable information. Thank you Father Yehovah for our Messiah, Yeshua 🙏🙏🙏
Ross, thank you for confirming for me what I believed God has been showing me since coming out of my coma. Of course, like always, you make it so easy for me to learn more than my understanding was of certain issues. For that I cannot thank you enough.
I've watched your video from years ago regarding this topic and to say the least it was eye opening and what I was needing after coming out of Christianity. As I'm sure you know, this is a controversial topic but one that needs to be discussed by many. Great job on the new video, I pray that it reaches all who are needing to see it and be blessed by it as I was years ago.
I loved this presentation Ross. It is clear, direct, personal, articulate, and learned...I hope it serves to give rise to discussions and further deliberations by countless people who have moved in these same directions in learning about the historical Jesus, in contrast to the Christ of Christian Theology!
Very beautifully said, my brother in Christ! I started this same walk 5 yrs ago after a life in the church. Best thing in my life to have ever happened. Started Sabbath studies with family and their eyes are opening to truth as well. Praise be to Yahuah our Father and our Messiah Yahusha Hamechiach!
So what has changed in your life. If you would imagine you are talking to yourself at the start of this 5 year journey - which may be my case now - what would you say has changed? Obviously the idea of salvation has changed, I am assuming you practice a day of rest (I notice in Deuteronomy it actually doesn’t specify which day bet sat or sunday, it just says 6 days of work followed by a day of rest - just mentioning this because choosing Saturday or Sunday no matter which stance one takes is probably more based on religion than the Word which doesn’t seem to indicate in Deuteronomy 4). I know Jesus tells us to keep the sabbath. Does this essentially make you a Jew for Jesus? I know most likely you and others may not like to conform to any religion, since you’re following the way of Jesus, but I do see a lot of Hebrew salutations going on in these comments that to me sounds similar to how Jews for Jesus followers communicate. I am honestly curious because I am on this journey and I am wondering what actually changes… I believe to have always been someone like the author of this video, someone to have always thought the words of Jesus. I always found myself questioning things that seemed otherwise, I always felt strange about the Trinity, I always felt strange about Jesus as this deity. So I am just curious what changes, what do you accept or not accept? Do you no longer accept the teachings of Paul? What about the book of revelations? Is the entire New Testament questionable? Obviously the old testament is to simply be considered The Scripture, I guess no need to call the old testament because Jesus would not have called it the Old Testament… And Jesus would not have read the New Testament so I guess there is no longer a new testament… I guess just a series of books called the New Testament by the holy Roman catholic church that are to function as what exactly? Which gospels are real and which ones are fictitious? I’m just curious where we draw the line, what we hold onto his truth? Do you guys believe in the New Testament? Is it the infallible word of God or is just the Old Testament? Which version of the New Testament? I have too many questions but as you can imagine, or maybe as you already have gone through, growing up in the church and then trying to wrap your head around this is a bit complicated. But I have always been someone that has been questioning
@@MS88nyc to start off, I believed in the once saved always saved and the say this prayer and all is fine for eternity. I was an alcoholic and it got worse after my wife passed. I turned to drugs and sleeping with any woman I could find. My thoughts and heart were do as thou wilt. Life is short, besides I'm saved because I believe in Jesus. It wasn't anything drastic that happened all at once to change my mind. It was a pulling or urge that started in me to actually read my bible. I had a desire to find out who God is. After I read the sermon on the mount and the words of Yahusha, my urge grew. I started really looking for truth and praying. I guess you could say that my heart was broken then repaired. I no longer have a desire for anything in the world. I don't live for the same things as I used to. I'm not a Jew or anything. I know what our Messiah said, that the gate is narrow, and I have to be more righteous than the scribes and pharisees. Only those that do the will of the Father enter the kingdom. Deuteronomy is now one of my favorite books. I don't discount any of the bible and all is for our walk in righteous behavior. Some misinterpret Paul by saying the law is dead. Yahusha said He came to fulfill the law and we have to pick up our cross and follow Him. So that is what I have been living to do. I'm running late for work, so I hope this isn't to jumbled. Much love!
Thanks Ross! I watched your decade old video not too long ago about you writing a book covering this topic. This could easily be the start of a 100+ part series of deconstructing Jesus (Yeshua or Yehoshua) from modern Christianity. Please consider it. So many people need to hear this message. As a former Christian, that also followed Jesus out of Christianity, I could definitely say it took time for me to let go of the core beliefs of Christianity. As I left one man made religion, I desired not to enter another man made religion, Rabbinic (Pharisaic) Judaism. I have even looked to the Karaites and even they have muddied the scriptures with the traditions of men. At this point, I only claim to be a believer in Yehovah. The Sh'ma is the core of my belief.
Phenomenal! Clear, concise, genuine and very thought provoking explanation! Thank you, Ross! This is a great resource for the faith journey of so many others as well! Follow Jesus! …who followed G-d Almighty!
@@Thedisciplemike Not in the Hebrew Matthew. The "Jesus is God" or "Trinity" did not exist in the early Church - not until near 400, and it was the invention of Rome - not Jesus. Jesus identified as "the son of man" to say he was a mortal man - not God.,
@barnsweb52 you clearly don't read much scripture nor the Church Fathers. Here I will present you an example of the profession of Christ's Deity from every consecutive generation in the early preNicene era "Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them proceeds the human descent of Christ, who is God over all, forever worthy of praise! Amen." Romans 9, c. 57 "And the Word was God...and the Word became flesh and resided among us." John 1 c.90 "And Thomas answered him, 'my Lord and my God!'" John 20 c.90 "and to us with you, and to all those under heaven who will yet believe in our Lord and God Jesus Christ and in his Father who raised him from the dead." Polycarp, c. 100 "There is only one physician, who is both flesh and spirit, born and unborn, God in man, true life in death, both from Mary and from God, first subject to suffering and then beyond it, Jesus Christ our Lord" Ignatius, c. 117 "He is Lord of all the world, to whom God said at the foundation of the world, ‘Let us make man after our image, and after our likeness" Barnabas, c.120 "The Father of the universe has a Son; who also, being the first-begotten Word of God, is even God. And of old He appeared in the shape of fire and in the likeness of an angel to Moses and to the other prophets; but now in the times of your reign, having, as we before said, become Man by a virgin...." Justin Martyr, c. 132 "He that bore up the earth was born up on a tree; the Lord of all was subjected to ignominy in a naked body-God put to death! ... [I]n order that He might not be seen, the luminaries turned away, and the day became darkened-because they slew God, who hung naked on the tree.... This is He who made the heaven and the earth, and in the beginning, together with the Father, fashioned man;" Melito of Sardis, died 180 "Carefully, then, has the Holy Ghost pointed out, by what has been said, His birth from a virgin, and His essence, that He is God (for the name Emmanuel indicates this). And He shows that He is a man.... [W]e should not understand that He is a mere man only, nor, on the other hand, from the name Emmanuel, should suspect Him to be God without flesh." Irenaeus, c. 190
@@Thedisciplemike 1 Cor. 11:3 & 15:28. Jesus deserves worship, but He is not Almighty God. All the verses you quoted have to be explained in the light of the obvious statements like the ones I noted above which declare Jesus' inferiority to his father, even after his resurrection. The fact that the trinity required centuries of debate should be a red flag.
Shabbat shalom brother Ross. I am born and raised in Gretna, LA., which is a suburb of New Orleans,LA., and I grew up in a Pentecostal church. And even though I learned so, so much from my Pastor Brother James Comuex Sr., the things that I was hearing a lot of the times from other Pastors down here just did not sit right with me, even as a child. And as I got older, I truly believe that YHWH EL SHADDAI revealed more and more to me as I started to mature. So this title to this video,I can definitely relate to. HalleluYAH forever and ever!!! YAH bless!!!!
Ross, thank you for your great lecture. I know Jesus didn't say He was God. But what would you say about John 1:1 " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" ?
Shalom brother Ross. I thank YHWH that He led me to your videos. I was introduced to your work when I read your book the Moses Scroll. I can’t remember who recommended it to me but I found it to be well written and absolutely fascinating. The broad brush strokes of your faith journey mirror my own. This is the first video I have watched of yours. I’m looking forward to watching the rest. May our Father in Heaven bless you and yours always. Peace and love to you in the name of our beloved Messiah Yeshua.
When I was a child, my favourite song of those my mother would sing to me before going to sleep was 'To be like Jesus'. To be like Jesus, to be like Jesus All I want is to be like him Throughout life's journey From here to glory All I want is to be like my Jesus. I'm surprised to find this video, now, since I'm being asked by some fellow scholars of SBL about my own religious journey (I am in my early 30s), and have been reflecting about just this topic. I am not surprised, though, to find you through Nehemia, who has been welcoming to me as a young scholar (of Biblical Hebrew song and recitation) and among those eager to give me detailed tips and advice in navigating my way around finding the information that I need for my study of the scriptures. I look forward to watching this video, which I've only started!
I think I agree with everything you share in this video (which is rare for controversial topics). You did a wonderful job of non-confrontationally addressing your beliefs, in a scriptural and godly way. Thank you for your work.
For example, in John 10:30, Jesus said, “I and the Father are one.” The Jews who heard Him make that statement knew well that He was claiming to be God, as witnessed by their reaction: “His Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him” (John 10:31). When He asked them why they were attempting to stone Him, they said, “For blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God
If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not." John 10:37 (KJV) What are the "works of the Father'? Creation. So when Jesus said, "I and my Father are one" (John 10:30) he is referring to creation, as the God's physical creation is a pattern/instruction for the spiritual creation that takes place within us when we believe/obey the spiritual works that Jesus spoke of and demonstrated for us while he was on earth; a new creation formed within us through the sowing of God's seed (truth) into our heart, as God's seed was sowed into the earth, which symbolizes the heart.
So many are now coming onto this straight and narrow path between the “ditches” of Christianity and Rabbinic Judaism! I love to hear how others have come to discover it. It seems this is all happening at a grass roots level, person by person, and it’s also comforting to know that we aren’t alone. A decade or so ago, I was challenged when someone said, “Make sure you have the right Jesus.” How could I have the right Jesus unless I had the right father? That’s what led me back to the Torah and keeping the Sabbath according to the creation week - to ensure that it is THE CREATOR that I’m worshipping and not some syncretized god. From there it went to honoring His moedim, then dietary practices and other principles. The more my understanding was transformed, the harder it became to apply any label to my faith. “I follow the faith of Jesus/Yeshua” is a great description and I will use that from now on. ("Written Torah honoring follower of Yeshua haMessiach" is a bit unwieldy, but opens up a discussion!) Now my challenge to those who claim to follow Jesus/Yeshua would be “Are you kingdom ready?” Are you familiar with the laws of the kingdom and its culture? Are you doing your utmost to “hear and obey?”
Amen I followed Yeshua out of Christianity, and I followed my Rabbi, Yeshua, to not worship him as God the father, and not only did he teach me about the father he led me to the pronunciation of his name, Yehovah, Yehovah means he who was, is, and will be, the self existent one, Yehovah alone is self existent, Yeshua does have existence but that existence was given to him, he said all power and authority has been given unto me, therefore he is One with Yehovah, just as we are one in Yeshua and with each other, why because he loves us. I question peoples self proclamation that they truly love Yeshua, because if they loved him and he knows and loves them they would know and love the father and be capable of distinguishing between the two. Although day light and nighttime are one (Echad) day; calling night: “day” presents a big problem and that is what we see happening in Western Christianity, as a result we have turned the Jewish Hebrew Yeshua into a pagan western Jesus into a god exalted like unto the most High which truly becomes our anti Messiah, yet they will call us antichrist because we don’t deify him as we do Yehovah. That is why Yeshua responded to the man who came to him and called him good teacher, Yeshua’s response was, no man is good except God, Yehovah alone is good, we can only unite in Yeshua and be One with him in his goodness. Although Yeshua is divine in the fact that he participated in and witnessed the creation, and that through him Yehovah created the Universe, in that way he is divine, he came before the creation. Just as Yehovah is The one true great high and self existent God, Yeshua is our Rabbi, a Rabbi is the highest honor given to a man who teaches Torah, and Yeshua is the highest mediator between God and Man the man Christ Jesus. This distinction between Yeshua and Yehovah will undoubtedly be met with great opposition in the last days, but let us hold on to our great teacher Yeshua as he brings us and presents us to the only self existent one who alone dwells in unapproachable light who is invisible.
While, I’ve shelved the “New Testament” and keep Torah as best I can, I REALLY appreciate this video. This is basically he same path I travelled when I left “the church” and everything else, much like Abraham did. I will be sharing this with those I feel will be receptive.
The “New Testament” is good. It’s simply not taught correctly by most, and there is much in it that cannot be understood without first understanding the “Old Testament”.
@@stellarjayatkins4749Paul is the biggest issue. And it's not that people don't understand him, they fully well do. The problem is that he ate from the wrong tree.
@@MinisterRedPill no, it’s not “just my opinion”. If you read Paul carefully he is the one that ties both old and new together. Sean Griffin has gone through these supposedly “wrong” verses step by step.
Awesome video, Ross. I was blown away by how many of your points I have used on my own Facebook posts; and which have been a basis for my own spiritual growth from the 1980s. In 1787, Rabbi Jacob Emden wrote about the faithfulness of the first-century followers of Jesus to the Torah of Moses, and people are just beginning to reflect on the implications of how that perspective should impact replacement theology. Looking forward to hearing much more from you.
I just came across this video… and it so southed my soul… my journey was and is nearly exactly what your journey is, was.. until I had my dna done 4 years ago.. I found my mother and 4 generations back, to be AshkenaziJew… and last year, I converted to Judaism… and then more wonderful greatness came to me and my whole being changed.. and I keep growing and loving my wonderful Hashem…. I pray for all my friends and family to seek and to know the truth…
I've been having such a hard time with this. Because I love my Christian brothers and sisters because, it seems the only reality that I agree with is Christ and Him crucified. So many of the doctrines actually steal from the power of the Gospel and it breaks my heart and makes me feel alone. When I share Jesus I never share Christianity I always tell people to follow Jesus, not a religion
Hi Ross. I've only just come across your channel, I loved this video & agreed with everything you said. It's good to hear somebody else say they don't consider themselves christian. Yah bless.
So from an atheist's perspective, you appear to have taken your preferred version of the Bible, carefully selected the verses that fit your theology and conveniently ignored the rest. From this you have constructed a "Jesus" and called that character your god. You obviously find great comfort in this and I am truly pleased for you. I however prefer an uncomfortable truth to a comforting falsehood.
@@danilom951 I would suggest that you probably do the same, just to a lesser extent. No neurotypical empathetic person would ever not "nitpick" the slaughtering by Yahweh/ Jesus of babies and the unborn by burning to death in Genesis 19: 24-25; putting to the sword in 1 Samuel 15: 3 and drowning in Genesis 7: 21. Although I could be wrong and you see these as acts of 'all loving moral perfection' and believe that I am deserving of extreme eternal violence because I call them objectively immoral acts of utter depravity.
@@downenout8705 well I will argue on you’re side because I was atheist in my teens early 20s and those are some good points. But my argument is that those people deserved death because they were wicked people who never turned would never turn from there wicked ways and let’s say you were god and your creation didn’t listen to you and did things completely of how you want them to be and knowing no matter how much time you give them that they’ll never turn from there ways causing grief and destruction wherever they go. How would you deal with that?
@@danilom951 Wtf!!!!!! Sorry but I have absolutely no intention of continuing a conversation with someone who would demonise innocent babies and the unborn just to justify burning the living flesh off them. Really enjoyed this summary of what I already believe - thank you for sharing the light . I think the point about Jesus speaking the words of God is more pertinent than raised in this. For me it is one of the keys to understand John 1.1
Wow! Wonderful teaching Ross! I’ve had a very similar journey, especially after viewing the contradictions between Paul and Jesus/James, and the eisegetical interpretations of the NT when claiming that verses of the Hebrew Scriptures are being fulfilled, such as Matthew quoting Hosea 11:1 when Hosea has nothing to don with the Messiah, etc. thanks for being open and transparent as always Ross!
Notwithstanding my earlier observation I agree with all you have shared in this video. It’s wonderfully articulated and is truth. I hope one day you might, like myself, come to believe that Yeshua is the prophet like Moses that YHVH promised to send to the Israelite’s that we must all hear and obey (which I appreciate you obey all you believe is truthfully spoken of him in the NT) and the root of Jesse that YHVH promised he would fill with his spirit (isa 9 etc). Stand aside the multiple witnesses at the new Testament testifies to this truth I think one of the most amazing thing that confirms this is that these passages of scripture have been universally ignored by the Orthodox Church since its conception. From my perspective it really speaks to the truth of that claim. But anyway bless you brother
Hello. I'm so happy to have come across your channel! I long for soundness in the Body of believers, but they're hard to come by. As of late, I have listened to many believers in Jesus who rail against the view that our Father's Torah is still binding. The youtuber, Rob Solberg, is one of many. There is a lovely Christian lady who is spreading a similar message. Sadly, she ran into a group of ppl who although follow the Way, have a very negative manner in communicating truth and have, in fact, added to it.
38:05 sorry for all the comments, it's just brcause i find this tslk so engaging. So, here, this is ironic because the gospels are obviously written forty to a hundred years after the supposed time of Jesus, none of them by Jesus, probably not even in a language Jesus was fluent in. If there was a historical Jesus, we really cannot be sure of anything he may have said, and christians could do with hearing that as well.
@Ross K. Nichols So, does this mean you've converted to some form of Judaism? I appreciate you sharing your personal story and your walk, but am unclear on what to make of where you are now?
My question became "what is the annointing"? What makes any of us as well as Jesus, an annointed one. What is the genisis of the anointing?. What is the anointing that abides in us as Jer 31 believers. This started a 6 year journey out of Christianity.
The anointing is the Spirit and word of God. The genesis is Genesis 1:2,3... "and the SPIRIT of God moved...and God SAID..." The two are referred to in scripture as the "two olive trees/branches" (Zechariah 4:12). Also referred to as the "two witnesses" (Revelation 11:3), which Moses and Aaron, Joshua and Caleb, Elijah and Elisha, John and Jesus, personified. Congrats on your journey out of Christianity.
Some time ago I made a comment similar to what you are saying. Someone then vehemently commented that because I believed as you do, my salvation was in question !
I'm assuming Ross has rebuttals to the messianic prophecies. I'm really curious as to his thoughts. If anyone knows of a separate video or even webpage, do let me know.
Oh man! How do you do it? Everything at the surface, facial expression, tone of voice, diction, reasoning, but also attire, surroundings, smacks of traditional minister of the Word. But... the ideas... quite different! Sir, you are a beautiful new blend, through and through. Congrats.😢
I 'm happy to listing every Sabbath to you , you are a Great man of God ,and call myself a happy woman to have found you , and listen to you bible class every Sabbath
I learned about the Sabbath and feasts in 2014 and left the churches. I finally felt peace but it did not cause me to lose my faith in Yeshua. It helped me understand Him better He was the New Covenant of Jeremiah 31:31. Jesus wrote the instructions for life in our hearts but the churches led people astray about the Torah.
Who says he’s been left for dead? His resurrection proves that he followed the Torah perfectly and that he should be our ultimate teacher, that he was truly “echad” with the Father in correctly applying Torah.
@@gtw4546 After watching quite a few recent videos from Ross, I feel he is on some kind of Anti Yeshua mission. A great example of `throwing the baby out with the bath water’. Again I say, correct me if I am wrong.
Absolutely excellent job, thank you! I was so happy to have found you! I first saw you on Nehemiah Gordon RUclips channel, I was confused about what you were and what you believe. I was so happy to find this video on your channel to understand that your primary intention is to follow Yeshua, the son of God, who is a son of man, not God in flesh!
Agreed brother, Paul also taught God’s commandments but many people misunderstand and twist Paul’s words(2 Peter 3:9-18) don’t be led astray by the error of the “lawless”
25:15 just wondering why not use the same passage in gMark, since it's earlier? I'm always confused 2hen people read sections of fluke and gMatt for parts where those authors copied, and in many cases changed, gMark. Whether it's been changed or not, I always wonder why not just use the gMark passage? Maybe because gMark doesn't explicitly say it's the book of Isaiah? Incidentally, does Isaiah 60 contain that lime about giving sight to the blind? Have you any thoughts on whether we can consider this episode to be valid, considering it is not quoting the tanakh accurately?
I'm surprised to find a reconstruction of the old triennial reading cycle, since I've tried to look up or ask around for information about it before, but people and Google didn't seem to get what I was on about. When I did some arithmetic on the number of Open and Closed portions in the entire Torah-Nebi'im-Ketubim, it seemed to divide evenly into 7's... or was it into 53's? Anyway, it persuaded me that the entire Hebrew Bible was designed into some reading cycle. I just didn't take the time to think of what shape it might have had. And since I have no sources on it and nobody had an idea of this ever having been a real thing, I just left it at that.
Ross I love listening to you I love your passion and your search for truth. But if you discount the testimony of the new Testament then you face being blind to understanding which specific passages in the Hebrew Bible are talking about Jesus. We both know and acknowledge that the new Testament text actually like the Hebrew Bible has undergone alteration, corruption and mistaken copying. But both books I believe still contain the truth of God but you must read the text critically as you do the Hebrew Bible. however we have the testimony of the book of Luke where it says Jesus revealed to his disciples which specific passages in the Hebrew Bible were speaking about him. I am surprised that you would discount these as being applicable to Jesus?
Shukran Ross. The heart of the true message of the historical Jesus. Even going with Mark the earliest gospel it is more about following Jesus than this mystical worship demand that is more about the believers need than the historical Jesus true goals. The church fathers loved the story they had woven and Paul's vision more than the actual man and his Jewish earthly mission.
@MinisterRedPill its true interpretation of it. And yes, as man, Jesus worships God the Father Almighty, and more than that: shows us what true worship is. So much so, that no one can worship God apart from Jesus. However, Jesus is not the Father. He is the Son of the Father, who is just as much God as the Father is.
You, my friend, are a Pharisee. White tombs polished on the outside. Do you realize that Jesus fulfilled the law? Did you know that Jesus ‘broke’ the law by healing on the sabbath? Do you realize that the apostles met on Sundays (first day of the week) and that Jesus was resurrected on a Sunday according to text? I understand that one still feels the need to do all the shalls and shall nots, but God made it possible to be sanctified in Jesus. Jesus did say if you have seen him, you have seen the Father, he and the Father are one. He also stated the he is ‘I am’. Go back and read with proper light. Many asked how to be saved and Jesus said BELIEVE. Did he say believe and follow the law? Man cannot obtain God’s mercy and grace through law.
So I got one question for you Ross, if you still follow jezus do believe that he was born of a virgin? do you believe that he was crucified on the cross for the sins of the world? do you believe that he rose and ascended to the throne room of YAHWEH? if you do then you are still following the jezus of christianity and not the jezus of what you have just proclaimed.
The entire story in Luke starts with the lesson to the Pharisees and ends with Lazarus . It is about the Pharisees having found a house in the temple but not in GODS heart
Our eyes were opened in 2011. We had blasphemed God for 50 years in our churchianity faith. Now we obey what Yeshua and all disciples obeyed. I think your title is a little confusing. A "Christian" in the Bible is one who obeyed Torah and walked out their faith like Messiah. It's those who worship "church", (I call it "churchianity") today, that refuse to give up their false doctrine bc they cannot imagine giving up "church." Sadly, this is not an obedient format as described in the NT where there is to be no authority structure accept the Spirit of God. No titles and alphabet soup. No head covering nicolaitan system allowed. But all modern day false systems of worship display all those details that God forbids.
When you have decided that Yeshua is not God also, you said "the totality" of the text helps make it clear. But you are not agreeing with the totality of the text. Yes, Yeshua is lesser. Yes, Yeshua has a God. Yes, Yeshua prayed to His Father. Yes, Yeshua is one with the Father and wants us to have that same type of relationship. But as well, and not to be ignored, is that Yeshua does what only YHVH is prophesied to do. Yeshua is described as only YHVH is described. He has the attributes only God has and the power only God is described to have. John recognized this when introducing Yeshua and that is why He is introduced in this manner as GOD. The Father God YHVH is not seen yet God, YHVH, was sitting, eating and negotiating with Abraham. Was Abraham not able to see this person with whom he shared a meal and tried to make a deal? God YHVH is not seen yet God YHVH was speaking to Manoah and his wife and to Gideon. How is that possible? How is it possible to believe both sides; God YHVH is not seen yet God YHVH was seen? Instead of ignoring the side of that issue that doesn't fit your narrative or conclusion, how is it possible to believe both sides of that issue? Yes, Yeshua claimed to be God , proved the prophesies about YHVH by doing them, AND He claimed He had a God. BOTH! While no prophet's writings has the weight of Torah which are the words of YHVH, the NT is simply a diary account of how the prophesies played out. You cannot ignore the NT. What you have to do is understand it in the context of Torah just like you understand the prophet's writings in the context of Torah. Torah supersedes all. The NT contains the words of Yeshua. You cannot throw those out or think they are less valuable because they validate the Father's words. Yeshua IS who Isaiah said, "Almighty God, Everlasting Father" and they will be/and are truly one.
So how would the Father be the God with authority over all and yet He has a Spirit who is also God and a fleshly body, also God. Perhaps when the Bible describes us (in His image) of having a soul, a spirit and a body, we can then understand exactly what is being communicated. If our spirit could act separately from us, yet not be independent but still subservient, our spirit would do what we (soul) decided. Same with our physical body. If our body could be separate yet still subservient, then both body and spirit who are still us or in the case of the Bible, still God, bow their will to God, communicate with God and are subservient to God. Just like my body would still be me and my spirit would still be me. After all, we see throughout tanak that there is a physical visible body called YHVH interacting with man. And we read the spirit, visible at times in different forms interacting with man. Regardless of the label you put on this phenomenon, it is undeniable that the Bible describes these facts. At 5:20 you said "I will propose Jesus never claimed to be God." The Hebrew word God (Alahim) is plural. John 8;58 "Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM (HaYah).”" Ross, you omitted John 8;58 from your presentation. 🤦♂ Surely don't have an answer to this and you rare wrong!!
Refer to John 1:1 which cites the Prophets. Yeshua said, I existed before Abraham. That's why in Ps.110 God says to Messiah, you are My-King-of-Righteousness, the same who met with Ab-raam, case closed.
Jesus was before Abraham was because Jesus (the word made flesh) is the seed of God (Luke 8:11). The seed proceeded from the Father, sowed in the womb of Mary. When a man sows his seed into a woman and she conceives, it brings forth a son or daughter, not the father that sowed it.
I had the same experience brother. Well said. Thank you. may the God most high father of our messiah and high priest bless you. OT and NT scriptures are in agreement. You can't understand the new without studying the old first. The disciples had only the OT plus the books removed. It's not a new different teaching. 1 gospel, 1 law 1 covenant for mortal man a new covenant for immortal/ resurrected man.
It increasingly seems to me that the Old Testament, especially the Pentateuch, is a parable warning from God that's attempting to illustrate, and educate us about, the toxic effects of State Established religion. "It is finished." What does this mean?

Do you see Jesus as a prophet? Why did he has to die or is that put in just as the story of the woman that has been caught in adultery? Because we know that there are things put in or added in the New Testament. I believe that nobody has to die for your sins. Everybody is responsible and the Torah make you righteous. Please ket me know how you see these points.
The variations in Christianity are almost 100 percent based on contradictions in the New Testament. We must abandon Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Paul's books - all the books - including Revelation, as it also defies the account of Matthew (Revelation 4).
29:30 - your conclusion is perfectly sound of course, but I do want to pick up on something, you seem to be attributing these words to an actual historical Jesus without question. What do you say to those who see this passage as an indicator that the christians at the time gLuke was being composed (late first or early second century CE) were telling this resurrection story and being disbelieved? This reads far more like a petulant response to sceptics than something a historical Jesus would have said back in his time. Christians still say this sort of thing today, in fact, as if it were an adequate substitute for some sort of actually convincing evidence.
Yeshua's definitely not the problem , it's the version of Yeshua that the apostate , false apostle Paul taught , the version that Paul got from the FALSE CHRIST that he encountered on the road to Damascus . Yeshua , His brother James The Just and The actual Twelve Apostles , The Ebionites taught the Torah . That's the proper path
jezus also claimed that he was with the Father before the world was created. Yet YAHWEH states that there was NO ONE with HIM when HE created the world. The only one's with YAHWEH during creation was the angels only.
I agree with you on many points, most especially about the Written Torah being still valid. However, if you still believe in YEHOSHUA at all, as you claim to follow him, I don’t understand how you do not continue to acknowledge that He states that He made the New Covenant in His Blood for the forgiveness of His people’s iniquities. I know you have researched the Hebrew Matthew, and Matthew 26:26-29 still has this in The Hebrew. You seem to acknowledge still that Yehoshua is God’s (Yehovah’s) Son, which I agree with. My understanding at this point is that repentance to keep the Commandments of God (given through Moses and including the higher commandments given through Yehoshua) AND faith in Yehoshua (for the forgiveness of your sins) are both required to be one of his “Saints” - Kedoshim - according to the Hebrew Matthew and Revelation 14:12. [Revelation 14:12 KJV] 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
See the issue is that Jesus never really taught any of this. Whenever I ask any Christians about certain NT principles, they never quote Jesus, but other men like Paul who teach a different message. What Ross is demonstrating here is that Jesus’s teachings were in line with Judaism, not the teachings of Paul.
@@ChristianCarrizales I agree that Paul is not to be listened to. Yehoshua is. But, the Hebrew Matthew text does show that he is the Messiah who is the Son of God, the son of the virgin (Matthew 8:20), the Son of Man described in Daniel 7:9-14 that will return from Heaven, and many other titles of the Messiah. Just wondering if Ross still believes this.
Oh, quick comment about Matthew five. You cannot willfully and habitually break even small commandments, and expect to enter the kingdom of heaven. You touched on it by expressing that the word translated in Greek could be translated loosen. So what I believe Yeshua is saying is for those who don’t emphasize properly the minor commandments, they will be called least in the kingdom of heaven…. So to say “those who loosen the least of these commandments…”. I don’t think you would believe that someone could habitually break the lease of the commandments, and enter into the kingdom of heaven, right? Obviously, every human being has sinned and needs to repent and those will enter the kingdom of heaven but to just say you can break Commandments habitually without regard, no matter how small, will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
@52:40 When YAHWEH spoke to the prophets to speak to Israel what HE wants them to hear, HE spoke it to the prophet, and it was recorded in scripture, then the prophet spoke what YAHWEH said. IF jezus is speaking YAHWEH's words then where is YAHWEH speaking in the nt what he is to say then jezus repeating it?? nowhere. thats why jezus did not speak what YAHWEH told him to speak.
AND YET.......GENESIS 19:24 YHVH sent fire and brimstone from YHVH in heaven. HE also said to haShaytan: "You shall not tempt the Lord your God" Soooooo, why did HaShemYeshua referred Himself as son? THAT'S BECAUSE of Hebrew understanding of the position of Israelites to YHVH as their Father, and Israel HIS son as a relationship.
Nice try sir! Try and explain away John 1:1-14 !!! You cannot . This is why I memorized that passage specifically!!! I will not deny the Diety of Christ !!! You are not the only one who reads the KJV COVER TO COVER …. With out foot notes …
John 1:1 (KJV) is a mistranslation. “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with the God, and a god was the word.” John 1:1 (Original Greek translation) “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1 (King James translation) “A god was the word” has been changed to “the Word was God,” an error in translation that has Christians calling Jesus God, through which they are unwittingly denying the Son. “The same was in the beginning with God.” John 1:2. Jesus was with God in the beginning, being the seed through which God made His creation. “All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.” John 1:3. All things are made by a seed. God's seed was made flesh when it was sowed into the womb of Mary..."made of a woman, made under the law." Galatians 4:4.
No, God did not put a seed in Mary. God made Jesus' flesh in Mary (Miriam) the same way He made Eve from Adam, by what we would call cloning. The Spirit of God, His Right Hand, then inhabited the baby, just like the Spirit of God inhabited Zacharias, 2chr24:20.
@@davidfischer545 Yes. Mary made the flesh of Jesus, which is the law of God... Galatians 4:4. All flesh is female. That which intercourses with the flesh, is male..."male and female created he them." “And the Word was made flesh... John 1:14 But we can't ignore the parable, which Jesus used to teach us spiritual things: "And the parable is this: the seed is the word of God." Luke 8:11 the seed = the word. When God spoke His word... "And God said... Genesis 1:3, it was the sowing of God's seed into the earth. God sowed His seed through His Power/Spirit..."And the Spirit of God moved...Genesis 1:2. Spirit and word; Energy and seed. This is how man (-kind) is made..."Let us make man in our image; after our likeness. A man, through his strength, sows his seed/sperm into the woman, as God sowed His seed into mother earth, and as God sowed His seed into the womb of Mary, the mother of Jesus, NOT God! (more religious iniquity)! God will sow His seed/word/truth into that spiritual womb called our heart, (aka, Jerusalem, "the mother of us all") IF we don't resist the spirit/energy that sows it...“Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Spirit as your fathers did, so do ye.” Acts 7:51 "God made Jesus' flesh in Mary (Miriam) the same way He made Eve from Adam, by what we would call cloning. -David Fischer I have to disagree. It was not the same. "Adam was made in the image of God, a spiritual being with the two divine attributes of God. Now the fourth element, the earthly female aspect, is about to be added to Adam, allowing him to interact with and enjoy the physical realm. The female aspect of Adam came through the woman, through Eve, as it is the woman that forms the flesh body in her womb. Eve provided a glorified flesh body, while Adam’s portion, symbolized by his rib, provided the spiritual essence of that glorified body, which together made them divine beings, a positive transformation that allowed them to enjoy the pleasures of the five senses. Adam and Eve were now experiencing the best of both a spiritual and physical existence. This was the greatest gift God could impart to His perfect human. The word Eve means life-giver, that life being a physical existence, experienced and enjoyed through their glorified bodies.." -THE BIBLE DECODED: breaking the ancient code
Some of us began awakening in the 70's, but, many of us began awakening to our Hebrew roots in 1996 and forward. But we don't leave the truth that man can NOT die for another's sins. The fact that Yeshua died for our sins is because God himself came down to earth in a tabernacle of flesh. Guess you don't believe that. Maybe you don't know that Jeremiah claimed that the lying scribes removed the 'Word of God' from the words of Moses. Something so great had to be tampered with by Lucifer the jealous brother of Jesus.
You’re right, I don’t believe “that.” In fact, so far as this comment goes, I only agree with you in that man can’t die for the sins of another. My God can’t die. I’m assuming you are misinterpreting Jeremiah 7 in your reference. Lucifer is a mistranslation of the Hebrew and as far as Jesus’s brothers, we know their names.
Very well done, Ross! But in order to walk in the ancient path, we must first understand the ancient instruction. And to understand the ancient instruction, we must understand the ancient language in which the Holy Text was written, which is symbolic. You have concluded that following Jesus is keeping God's Commandments, and rightly so when it pertains to the kingdom of heaven, where those that obey and teach them are the greatest. However, Jesus also teaches that the greatest in the kingdom of heaven is he who becomes as a "little child" (Matthew 18:1-3), through which one fulfills the law, the instruction for which is encoded in the symbolism of Jesus' parables (Matthew 23:26). The Pharisees kept the law (commandments), so Jesus is speaking of something greater than obedience to the law. When tempted/tested by his religious brothers as to which law was the greatest, Jesus answered with God's ONE SPIRITUAL LAW or COMMANDMENT: LOVE toward God and toward our brother by way of a love of self. How do we demonstrate our love of self? God so loved the world he gave the world Jesus. We demonstrate our love of self by giving ourselves Truth, so we can't truly love our brother until we love ourself. The reason Jesus correlates this love (Mark 12:33,34) with the kingdom of God (which Jesus says is within us/Luke 17:21) is because the kingdom of God is something beyond the kingdom of heaven. It is the difference between carnal and spiritual. So, when Jesus said he came not to destroy the law, but to fulfill it, he is speaking of the spiritual works that fulfill the carnal commandments. Jesus does not care if we "believe" [in] him (John 10:37,38). He desires for us to "believe the works," the word "believe" meaning "to obey or put action to." Spiritual obedience to spiritual works, which supersedes carnal obedience to the carnal works of the law! "If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not." John 10:37 (KJV) “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” John 14:12 (KJV) What are the "works of the Father'? Creation. Creation took place when God spoke His word (Genesis 1:3), which is the sowing of God's seed (Luke 8:11), through which all things are made (John 1:3). Spiritual instructions for following Jesus: "And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." Matthew 19:28 (KJV) regeneration: the act or process of regenerating or the state of being regenerated, especially. Regenerate: to form, construct, or create anew. “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.” Revelation 21:1 (KJV) “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” Matthew 5:18 (KJV) Jesus is speaking of the passing of a spiritual heaven and earth, "the first heaven and the first earth," formed within us as "little child," heaven symbolizing the mind, the earth symbolizing the heart. The number 12 (Matthew 19:28) represents judgment, the "twelve tribes of Israel" symbolizing the spiritual (internal) judgment through which the law is fulfilled within us. It is not Jesus the man that fulfills the law, it is the spiritual works Jesus encourages us to believe/obey. The path that leads to ETERNAL spiritual life just got narrower! Sandra L Butler
@@davidfischer545 #1 Whom was he addressing? He was addressing bani Israel. It would be a sick kind of God to deny heaven to everyone other than bani Israel. In fact it would be contrary to Noach and his sons. #2 God has no rivals and the true Gospel never contradicts the original Bible. #3 No man can see God in this life and live, unless by some kind of dream vision when not in body and sleeping.
Very insightful. I agree with most of what you said, however you did not cover John 1:1-5, where John proclaims Yeshua (Jesus) to be Elohim (God) and with Elohim (God) at the very beginning. Through Him (Yeshua) all things were made. Does that mean Yeshua was the Father? No. Several times Yeshua said, I do nothing except what the Father tells me. (my paraphrase).
Exactly! Ross quotes the Gospel of John several times but leaves out passages that don't support his own ideas. At 5:20 Ross said "I will propose Jesus never claimed to be God." The Hebrew word for God (Alahim) is plural. In John 8;58 "Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM (HaYah).”" Very clear that Messiah Yeshua is claiming to be YHWH (the Messenger form) who met Abraham before the destruction of Sodom. In Genesis 19:24 there is TWO YHWH's... "Then YHWH rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from YHWH out of heaven;" They are United (Echad as one). Ross omits this major declaration of Messiah Yeshua claimming to be YHWH the! Ross omits John 1:1-5.
Please try reading John in Hebrew, and 1:1 is a very elementary reading. If God is JC then replace Word with God and read it, but that then makes no sense whatsoever as a reading if you do that.

@@noahyoder1432 no, I suggested you read the Greek text as Hebrew, not refer to the Aramaic version which is a later text at any rate. If you and others insist on reading that JC = God then John 1:1 transliterates into English thus: In beginning was/is/will-be The-God and The-God was unto The-God and God was/is/will-be The-God. Such a reading absolutely mucks the message of John, let alone the entire Tanakh whereas reading the Greek text according to a Hebrew transliteration is 100% viable and supported by The Prophets. If anyone is unable to cope with these basic truths then they should start with the prophet whom John is citing, from the Tanakh.

I agree except stating that Yeshua is not deity. His attributes in scripture is definitely not a man. So who is He? Here are 10 reasons to reconsider who Yeshua is: 1. Yeshua has no earthy father. (This is good enough for me but there is a lot more). 2. Mark 14:61-62 ISR 61 But He remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, “Are You the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed?” 62 And יהושע said, “I am, and you shall see the Son of Aḏam sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of the heaven.” *One main evidence that was said is that no one has seen the Father. That would be one of our evidences for Yeshua as Elohim. He is not man and does see the Father. The son sits at the right hand of the Father. 3. Yeshua calls himself the good shepherd as the father also calls himself. 4. Yeshua also calls himself "I Am" as the Father does. 5. His very name Yeshua corresponds with the name of the Father. . 5. Yeshua, after resurrected, was caught up to the heavens to the Father to wait for His return. 6. John 1:1-18 explains the son as Elohim very clearly. 7. Plural use of Elohim in the very beginning of scripture. Genesis1:26 “Then Elohim said, ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness... Genesis 3:22 “And Yehovah said, ‘The man has now become like one of us.’” 8. John 14:6 יהושע said to him, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 9. 1 John 2:23-28 23 No one denying the Son has the Father. The one confessing the Son has the Father as well. 24 As for you, let that stay in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning stays in you, you also shall stay in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that He has promised us: everlasting life. 26 I have written this to you concerning those who lead you astray. 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him stays in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as the same anointing does teach you concerning all, and is true, and is no falsehood, and even as it has taught you, you stay in Him. 28 And now, little children, stay in Him, so that when He appears, we might have boldness and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. 29 If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone doing righteousness has been born of Him. 10. Yeshua repeatedly taught His disciples to pray in His name (John 14:13-14; 15:16; 16:23-24). To pray in Yeshua's name is to acknowledge that our access to Elohim in prayer comes through Yeshua. These 10 evidences proves that Yeshua is part of Elohim as His son. Does anyone fully understand this? No, there are mysteries too great for us to fully grasp. But to deny that Yeshua is not deity seems reckless. It cuts one’s self off from access to the Father. Yeshua said He is the only way, truth and life no one comes to the father except through Him.
Wasn't it Marcion who called the Original Testament, "The Old Testament"? In fact it was never a Bible, The one Christians call Jesus never read a Bible and if they follow as you did, they will also come out of Christianity!! I have never been a Christian, but that does not mean I don't know Yah and His name! Jer 6:16 Yahweh says, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, ‘Where is the good way?’ and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ Here is found in the Original Testament what you should do, pay attention Christians! This is what your messiah actually did because no Bible existed in his time! This is why it is not done away with! Will you or will you not? This ancient path is the Original path to walk upon, not a new path with new narratives!
This view is faulty. Here's why... 1. The TANAK doesn't include the gospels but the presenter quotes them widely. 2. Jesus never wrote, let alone write the gospels. 3. Therefore, to be consistent, you must not even touch the gospels. It's Gen to Malachi for you. 4. I pray christians ignore this view
The letter "J" was invented in 1520. If you are anywhere near images you are defiling the Commandments. You need to no longer be anywhere near images. Including anything that depended on images to cause their creation , ie, all engineering. Your family photos need to be disposed of - any pornography you watch is violating the Commandment against images.
If you read any verse about making an image in context, you will know that we are not to “bow down to,” “worship,” or “fear” it. However, God made man in HIS image so if it were just about making one, then God broke His own command. Pornography DOES violate the Torah, but the commandments are those about covetousness and adultery.
I remember my husband making these questions:
1. If Yeshua were here today, will He be looking for a Synagogue or a church/temple?
2. Will Yeshua be worshipping on Saturday or Sunday? And

Amen! Shabbat Shalom. Well done presenting a difficult and controversial topic with sensitivity and clarity.

Have you read Peters sermons recorded by Clement ?
Phenomenal! Clear, concise, genuine and very thought provoking explanation! Thank you, Ross! This is a great resource for the faith journey of so many others as well! Follow Jesus! …who followed G-d Almighty!
Christ is God
@@Thedisciplemike Not in the Hebrew Matthew. The "Jesus is God" or "Trinity" did not exist in the early Church - not until near 400, and it was the invention of Rome - not Jesus. Jesus identified as "the son of man" to say he was a mortal man - not God.,
@barnsweb52 you clearly don't read much scripture nor the Church Fathers. Here I will present you an example of the profession of Christ's Deity from every consecutive generation in the early preNicene era
"Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them proceeds the human descent of Christ, who is God over all, forever worthy of praise! Amen." Romans 9, c. 57
"And the Word was God...and the Word became flesh and resided among us." John 1 c.90
"And Thomas answered him, 'my Lord and my God!'" John 20 c.90
"and to us with you, and to all those under heaven who will yet believe in our Lord and God Jesus Christ and in his Father who raised him from the dead." Polycarp, c. 100
"There is only one physician, who is both flesh and spirit, born and unborn, God in man, true life in death, both from Mary and from God, first subject to suffering and then beyond it, Jesus Christ our Lord" Ignatius, c. 117
"He is Lord of all the world, to whom God said at the foundation of the world, ‘Let us make man after our image, and after our likeness" Barnabas, c.120
"The Father of the universe has a Son; who also, being the first-begotten Word of God, is even God. And of old He appeared in the shape of fire and in the likeness of an angel to Moses and to the other prophets; but now in the times of your reign, having, as we before said, become Man by a virgin...." Justin Martyr, c. 132
"He that bore up the earth was born up on a tree; the Lord of all was subjected to ignominy in a naked body-God put to death! ... [I]n order that He might not be seen, the luminaries turned away, and the day became darkened-because they slew God, who hung naked on the tree.... This is He who made the heaven and the earth, and in the beginning, together with the Father, fashioned man;" Melito of Sardis, died 180
"Carefully, then, has the Holy Ghost pointed out, by what has been said, His birth from a virgin, and His essence, that He is God (for the name Emmanuel indicates this).
It was all about the lost sheep of isreal....
A truly enlightening teaching. Hopefully many will hear and see the true path our Messiah proclaimed. Hallelu'YAH!
I left Christianity and Jesus to follow Yehovah and Yeshua
Ross, thank you for your great lecture. I know Jesus didn't say He was God. But what would you say about John 1:1 " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" ?
Thank you so much for this! It was wonderful!
Thanks for your kind and encouraging words Robert. Blessings in your journey.
When I was a child, my favourite song of those my mother would sing to me before going to sleep was 'To be like Jesus'.
To be like Jesus, to be like Jesus
All I want is to be like him
Throughout life's journey
From here to glory
All I want is to be like my Jesus.
If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not." John 10:37 (KJV)
What are the "works of the Father'?
Show me evidence. Did you make this up? Which websites or scholars did you learn this from?
("Written Torah honoring follower of Yeshua haMessiach" is a bit unwieldy, but opens up a discussion!)
Now my challenge to those who claim to follow Jesus/Yeshua would be “Are you kingdom ready?” Are you familiar with the laws of the kingdom and its culture? Are you doing your utmost to “hear and obey?”
Wonderful. Thank you, Ross!
This is quite a valuable sermon for christians, actially. It would be great if a whole load of them could hear this and understand it.

Absolutely love IT!
I just came across this video… and it so southed my soul… my journey was and is nearly exactly what your journey is, was.. until I had my dna done 4 years ago..
This was brilliant thank you
Ill recommend it to all my friends ...i only pray that you have realised paul too,
Hi Ross. I've only just come across your channel, I loved this video & agreed with everything you said. It's good to hear somebody else say they don't consider themselves christian. Yah bless.
So true! Finally someone who has studied the Word! Shalom from Australia
As a Christian I’d agree he’s nitpicking quite a bit
Excellent!
That's interesting. I came out too only I came to almost completely different conclusions.
❤🙏
Excellent work!
Sadly, she ran into a group of ppl who although follow the Way, have a very negative
manner in communicating truth and have, in fact, added to it.
So much to consider
What a wonderful teaching!
I so needed to hear this, thank u for sharing and hope to hear and learn more
Thanks for watching and for your comments.
I'm assuming Ross has rebuttals to the messianic prophecies. I'm really curious as to his thoughts. If anyone knows of a separate video or even webpage, do let me know.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but shouldn’t the title read:
` Following Jesus out of Christianity then leaving him for dead ‘
Who says he’s been left for dead? His resurrection proves that he followed the Torah perfectly and that he should be our ultimate teacher, that he was truly “echad” with the Father in correctly applying Torah.
@@gtw4546 After watching quite a few recent videos from Ross, I feel he is on some kind of Anti Yeshua mission. A great example of `throwing the baby out with the bath water’.
Again I say, correct me if I am wrong.
@@retepelyod Other than an interview with Nehemiah Gordon, this is the only one I’ve watched of his. Doesn’t Ross believe in the resurrection?

I was so happy to find this video on your channel to understand that your primary intention is to follow Yeshua, the son of God, who is a son of man, not God in flesh!
Agreed brother, Paul also taught God’s commandments but many people misunderstand and twist Paul’s words(2 Peter 3:9-18) don’t be led astray by the error of the “lawless”
What a excellent teaching
All Christians should watch something like this
25:15 just wondering why not use the same passage in gMark, since it's earlier?
"More than the actual man." The actual man is God incarnate
@@Thedisciplemike😂 idolatry
@@MinisterRedPill same God. Not a different God. Christ is YHWH
@@Thedisciplemike no he's not. That's your incorrect interpretation of it. "Christ" also has a God. Is he God of himself? 😂
Amen!
Thanks
Thank you Victoriah for the Super Thanks!
"New Testament was written many decades after Jesus was dead", was he ever dead at all, the first question ❓
Right after he says his Bible is the Bible Jesus used, he reads from the NT????
The entire story in Luke starts with the lesson to the Pharisees and ends with Lazarus . It is about the Pharisees having found a house in the temple but not in GODS heart
Great concept Ross!
This is one very good video. I recommend it.
Great video. Easy to follow and understand. However, my gut sank when he quoted Paul.
The Catholic church follows a Triennial cycle of reading and it applies it also to the New Testament books
Some reform Jewish congregations follow a triennial cycle as well, but none of these are the ancient cycle I refer to. These are modern cycles.
Zech 14:9 And Yehovah shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be- “Yehovah is one,” and His name one. (remember Yehoshua is actually "Yehovah's salvation")

The answer for the correct Sabbath , the Sabbath of our Messiah can be found in Exodus 12:2 😊
At 5:20 you said "I will propose Jesus never claimed to be God." The Hebrew word God (Alahim) is plural.
John 8;58 "Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM (HaYah).”"
Ross, you omitted John 8;58 from your presentation. 🤦♂
Surely don't have an answer to this and you rare wrong!!
YHWH led me out of Christianity.
John 3:14 - 2 Kings 18:4
Excellent
I had the same experience brother. Well said. Thank you. may the God most high father of our messiah and high priest bless you.
OT and NT scriptures are in agreement. You can't understand the new without studying the old first. The disciples had only the OT plus the books removed. It's not a new different teaching. 1 gospel, 1 law 1 covenant for mortal man a new covenant for immortal/ resurrected man.
It increasingly seems to me that the Old Testament, especially the Pentateuch, is a parable warning from God that's attempting to illustrate, and educate us about, the toxic effects of State Established religion.
"It is finished."

Walk without fear's and believe on yourself. We humans are created from spirit and can do like spirit's
40:10 Yes none of them knew. Funny how Paul in 1Cor.10:1-4 knew. Yet I have not encountered anyone who can cite the scripture. How can this be?
The variations in Christianity are almost 100 percent based on contradictions in the New Testament. We must abandon Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Paul's books - all the books - including Revelation, as it also defies the account of Matthew (Revelation 4).
29:30 - your conclusion is perfectly sound of course, but I do want to pick up on something, you seem to be attributing these words to an actual historical Jesus without question. What do you say to those who see this passage as an indicator that the christians at the time gLuke was being composed (late first or early second century CE) were telling this resurrection story and being disbelieved? This reads far more like a petulant response to sceptics than something a historical
Jesus would have said back in his time.
AND YET.......GENESIS 19:24
YHVH sent fire and brimstone from YHVH in heaven.
HE also said to haShaytan: "You shall not tempt the Lord your God"
Soooooo, why did HaShemYeshua referred Himself as son? THAT'S BECAUSE of Hebrew understanding of the position of Israelites to YHVH as their Father, and Israel HIS son as a relationship.
Nice try sir!
Try and explain away John 1:1-14 !!!
You cannot .
This is why I memorized that passage specifically!!!
I will not deny the Diety of Christ !!!

COVER TO COVER ….
With out foot notes …
John 1:1 (KJV) is a mistranslation.
“In the beginning was the word, and the word was with the God, and a god was the word.” John 1:1 (Original Greek translation)
“In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1 (King James translation)
“A god was the word” has been changed to “the Word was God,” an error in translation that has Christians calling Jesus God, through which they are unwittingly denying the Son.
@@davidfischer545
Yes. Mary made the flesh of Jesus, which is the law of God... Galatians 4:4. All flesh is female. That which intercourses with the flesh, is male..."male and female created he them."
“And the Word was made flesh... John 1:14
But we can't ignore the parable, which Jesus used to teach us spiritual things:
"And the parable is this: the seed is the word of God." Luke 8:11
the seed = the word.
God will sow His seed/word/truth into that spiritual womb called our heart, (aka, Jerusalem, "the mother of us all") IF we don't resist the spirit/energy that sows it...“Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Spirit as your fathers did, so do ye.” Acts 7:51
"God made Jesus' flesh in Mary (Miriam) the same way He made Eve from Adam, by what we would call cloning. -David Fischer
I have to disagree.

Just like Carl Marx wasn't Marxist.
But Marxism would not exist without his views. Same as Christ.
"If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not." John 10:37 (KJV)
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” John 14:12 (KJV)
What are the "works of the Father'? Creation.
Creation took place when God spoke His word (Genesis 1:3), which is the sowing of God's seed (Luke 8:11), through which all things are made (John 1:3).
Spiritual instructions for following Jesus:
"And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." Matthew 19:28 (KJV)
regeneration: the act or process of regenerating or the state of being regenerated, especially. Regenerate: to form, construct, or create anew.
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.” Revelation 21:1 (KJV)
“For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” Matthew 5:18 (KJV)
Jesus is speaking of the passing of a spiritual heaven and earth, "the first heaven and the first earth," formed within us as "little child," heaven symbolizing the mind, the earth symbolizing the heart.

Whoever has seen Me has seen the Father.
I and the Father are one.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
No man comes to the Father except by me... how can that be any other than God himself?
In John 8;58 "Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM (HaYah).”"
Very clear that Messiah Yeshua is claiming to be YHWH (the Messenger form) who met Abraham before the destruction of Sodom.

If you and others insist on reading that JC = God then John 1:1 transliterates into English thus:
In beginning was/is/will-be The-God and The-God was unto The-God and God was/is/will-be The-God.

I AM (HaYah) is not the Name of God. Son of Mary stated plainly that he is King of Righteousness, King of Spiritual Peace, the same who met with Abraham according to John. In fact, God-Yehovah calls him, My-King-of-Righteousness in Ps.110, if you read the elementary Hebrew. If you are still in doubt then I advise you to consult the NT Pauline material.
I agree except stating that Yeshua is not deity. His attributes in scripture is definitely not a man. So who is He?
Here are 10 reasons to reconsider who Yeshua is:
1. Yeshua has no earthy father. (This is good enough for me but there is a lot more).
2. Mark 14:61-62 ISR
61 But He remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, “Are You the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed?”
62 And יהושע said, “I am, and you shall see the Son of Aḏam sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of the heaven.”
*One main evidence that was said is that no one has seen the Father.
Genesis 3:22 “And Yehovah said, ‘The man has now become like one of us.’”
8. John 14:6 יהושע said to him, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
9. 1 John 2:23-28
23 No one denying the Son has the Father.
Amen, Keep the commandments of the GOD of Jesus. Jesus is not GOD, he has a GOD. Keep the commandments and that includes the 7th day sabbath.
