I appreciate the clear and concise video. The first few I looked at were not helpful. The first one I looked (before I gave up) at was 12 minutes long!
dumb questing but what i tune it but its the wrong letter but its still green in the middle but i supossed to be an e but its like an e but it still shows that its green and in the center
Not a stupid question! guitar can be unplugged or plugged doesn't matter! just make sure only one string is vibrating at a time! sometimes if an amp is REAL LOUD then it can make other strings vibrate which COULD make tuning more difficult.
Don't you have to tune until ONLY the green indicator is lit showing the correct tone? I notice you ignore the red flat indicators once the green light is centered.
Yeah you want to go until the green indicator is lit! Sometimes if you hold a note for a while it goes flat and shows red, which is fine, just as long as your initial tuning and the second or two after is green. If I said one was good and there was some red that was probably a mistake!
@@NickRivers -- I am just learning the guitar and got a Snark tuner when I got my guitar four weeks ago. I finally used it two days ago. I tuned each string until there was only the centered green light visible with no red or yellow lights seen. The guitar sounded fine so I guess I did it correctly. 😉 Back when I was a teenager we didn't have anything like a Snark tuner. It's a pretty handy gadget. 😏
Dude you are the only person that actually showed how to use it thank
My god you were the only one who was very clear on how to adjust it, thank you sir🙏

Getting my first guitar soon, mind my dumb question, but the guitar is unplugged from the amp for tuning correct?

How does the tuner know an electric from an acoustic?? I there a button on the back??
It actually knows just based on vibrations through the neck of the guitar so acoustic or electric it is the same setting!
Amazing! Thanx Nick!@@NickRivers
