Compared to previous videos which I always enjoy, I found the editing this time to be a bit awkward and had trouble following the products being used. For example, the Stila convertible product just sort of showed up at the end with no explanation. There was also no mention of the colours/shades being used. I felt as though a lot of the original video had been cut out. I hope that you don't mind this critique. I know that you are primarily a fashion rather than a make-up channel, but I like the way that Hannah does natural make-up and would have liked a better understanding of the products being used, including the products that Steph was using at home. Really like your channel, otherwise. The only stylist channel that I follow regularly.
Apologies for this, Steph had booked a 2 hr makeup session so unfortunately it had to be pretty heavily edited down. This was to give you a taste as to what an online makeup tutorial looks like, we are planning on doing more detailed makeup segments if this is something you’d be interested in 😊
@@HannahHallMakeup : Thank you very much for your response. I did try the techniques that you suggested for eyebrows, eyeshadow and mascara and I could see the improvement. What colour do you suggest for the Hourglass ambient power and for the Stila convertible? My skin tone is similar to Melissa.
@@bob-gz7px Hi, I'm so pleased you found the techniques helpful. The colour I suggest for the hourglass palette is Dim light and the stila blusher is Petunia, it's quite vibrant but adds a lovely pop of colour.
I bought both Erborian products mentioned in this video. They clogged my pores so badly that I have been needing to use retinoids for 2,5 months now after 3 or 4 days of using the CC cream and green concealer. I just wanted to warn anyone about the products.
Oh wow - the whole team (11 of us) all use those products and absolutely love them so I’m sorry you’ve had issues but we’ve never experienced that at all…
Melissa dear lady :-D :-D :-). What do I owe you this pleasure :-). This is certainly an extremely enchanted video you have just shared here :-). Its excellent in all due brilliance and what a brilliant representing video of your friend Hannah and how well she could represent herself in the manner of personal styling :-). She is really good at representing personal styling in the same comparable way to yourself I must say :-). I can see her client Steph was most impressed :-). This certainly did impress me significantly seeing she could do personal styling extremely well in all due brilliance like yourself Melissa :-). It really did impress me indeed :-). Thanks ever so much indeed for sharing this wonderful video Melissa :-). May I wish yourself, Monty the dog and your family a very Happy Easter :-D :-D :-). May I also wish your lovely friend Hannah a Happy Easter also Melissa :-). Many best wishes :-). Sending you many hugs and kisses :-D :-D :-). From your friend Foxy in Brighton, East Sussex, England, UK xoxox :-D :-D :-). (Do excuse me if I have commented on this account)
Interesting concept. It would be helpful to state the product names rather than just wave them at the camera as they are not easy to identify due to the camera shine.
Apologies for this, the aim of the video was to give the audience a taste of what an online makeup session looks like 😊 If you are interested in any of the products they are linked on the shopping page attached, I hope this helps 🙌
Happy Easter Hannah dear lady :-). What do I owe you this pleasure :-). I really did like how you were representing your clients when seeing this video your most enchanted friend Melissa had to show :-). You are extremely good at representing personal styling comparable to the way your wonderful friend Melissa Murrell is extremely good at representing personal styling whether its with her clients or whenever she has made a video representing it and all the rest of it :-). Like Pfisterer though not terribly certain of what the S stands for I enjoyed this as much as Pfisterer did Hannah I must say :-). Well then, I must go for now but it was an elated delight seeing you here Hannah and it was certainly most elating seeing you making your most wonderful, captivated appearance again within Melissa Murrell's contents just to say :-). I do hope you have enjoyed your Easter holiday :-). Sending you a gentle hug and a kiss to your cheek :-). Take care and many happy returns Hannah xx :-).
Thank you so much..learned a lot and you are a great make up artist and Steph you are a great model and student. You did well. Your make up looks beautiful but natural. ❤❤❤
@@mmpersonalstyling I see but I don’t have much; I don’t have a primer, I don’t use foundation, i don’t have concealers and I don’t use eye shadow. I have some quite old blushers. I used to wash my face with a flannel and water, but I will get a cleanser and may be I need a few more basics as it could be a very short makeup session 🤔!
Hi, I enjoyed the lesson but the video was too blurry to see anything clearly which was annoying. There was too much reflection from the glass or window and it was hard to see what Steph was doing.
Lipstick wise I wear the long lasting max factor lip infinity because like you, I can’t keep normal lipstick on either. My eye shadow stays on all day though so I’ll have to ask Hannah about that (I use Bobbi brown eye stick)
The best way to keep your lipstick from budging is to firstly exfoliate the lips, then apply a lip primer, use a lip liner to define and add pigment then fill will a long lasting lip stick like the max factor like Melissa uses or try a lip stain, blot with a tissue to get rid of any excess oils then reapply, if you have a setting spray you can use this to set the lips, alternatively blot with a bit of powder 💋💄 Re eyeshadow, the Bobbi brown eyeshadow sticks are great, also the mac paint pots both have real staying power, I hope this helps 😊
Really enjoyed watching this video Hannah and Steph, taken away some great tips so thank you. Hope your having a fab holiday Melissa 😍
So glad!
So pleased you enjoyed it

It’s because the whole session was over 2 hours and it had to be edited down to 30 mins so lots of things had to be cut out.

Possibly I am too late for questions, but how do you make sure you have the right product for the tutorial?
You don’t need any ‘right’ products, Hannah is a whizz at using what you already have x

May I ask for a link to Hannah’s “H” necklace please? Thank you for the great video!
Thanks for the link Hannah! Just ordered it!♥️

Apologies for this, we just wanted to give a taste of an online makeup session in action… we will be doing more in depth tutorials in the future 😊

Well done, Hannah. Great video, very helpful tips that I will definitely try. Please do come on more often 👏👍😘
Aww thank you, so pleased you enjoyed it
What is the name of the lovely lip product you used on yourself? Such a lovely video
So pleased you enjoyed it, the lip product is linked in the shopping page attached, it’s a no7 lip crayon, it’s lovely and moisturising 🤩
Love this tutorial, thank you for sharing. I would love any tips on hooded and downturned eyes as I struggle with eye makeup.
Great suggestion!
Ooh yes we can do that soon 😊

@@mmpersonalstyling Thank you for the recommendation - will look at that.
Hannah is a great teacher and i like that she’s going with what Steph has in her makeup kit 🙂
Thank you, yes I think it’s really important to utilise the products clients already have, we usually find they don’t need to buy many, if any 🙌
