Great tip with tape. I used some heavy duty duct tape and that did the trick. I did have to use some goof off to clean up the tape glue that I got on the parabolic refelctor. Otherwise it was pretty easy. Thx.

Does the ceiling/map light dim like the OEM when you open/close the doors?

I tried changing to led and immediately blew my fuse. The sales rep told me to up my fuse from a 10a to 15a. I did not and went back to the original. I didn't trust the sales reps' idea. Should I have?

Usually is because touch the positive of the conector with negative, remove all the bulb lights and plug it again one by one.

I was told to change the fuse to a higher amperage. I didn't trust that and went back with the dim amber oem. Should I have trusted that advice?

I had some cheap ones that did that too, shorted out. Also they weren't canbus compatible and most of the time the cheap dome light would remain dim would keep the body module from powering down I guess, battery would be dead if I didn't drive my truck on a regular basis.
