Is it not bad for the cars behind all that glass?? Fading, seals, tyres drying out etc in the sun....thanks for the video, he sure is living the dream as you say!! 😊
I personally think it does more damage to any car leaving it stood as apposed to using it. I personally think a car should be used, even if it’s only run around the block once a week to keep things moving, oil circulation etc. I know these cars are regularly ran upto temp so it’s keeps the engines in good health but as for the sun drying seals and paint out I couldn’t answer really
A few years ago he was looking for a rs1800 but there was just non for sale at the time, that would if finished off the mk2 escort collection nicely. Instead he moved onto the xr2,Xr3i and the most recent 3 door cosworth. He has mentioned a white rs500 to sit next to the 3 door so we’ll see what the future brings.
As a fast Ford and ABBA fan from the 1970s you can understand why some elderly people with good financial brains invest in these cars. Just one Cossie went for over £165,000 at an auction in 2022!
I know that this is a longshot but I had a mk1 Mexico stolen back in 1990 and never found but I checked the government site and a log book was issued for that reg in 2014 , the reg is OXE941L so if you come across it can you please let me know.
Weird how a log book has been issued 14 years after the vehicle was stolen? Maybe the vehicle was found after you was paid out by the insurance and then sold off again hence the logbook being issued in 2014?
@@philtucker1224 well whoever got the Mexico is one lucky person as it was a genuine log book AVO and had been fully restored and it was a beautiful car, I actually cried for two days when it went missing and I was only 19 when I brought it, I worked and saved so hard to get the money to buy it and I only had it for 3 months.
Sadly I’d have to agree on the camera work @ronnieirvine2552. Excuse my ignorance but what are coils and how would changing them affect the camera? I’m on a really old GoPro so I just assumed that was what was causing the shaky footage
As you’ve seen the owners has a standard rs2000 which he loves and won’t ever be modified but he bought the signal Amber rs modified and that’s how it will be staying. It’s not to everyone’s taste but it is to the owners taste and really that’s all that matters as he’s the guy who paid quite a big sum of money for the car and then spent over £10k on it since buying it.
Beautiful collection of classic ford's lucky lucky feller
White 2.8 Capri is the nuts i had a few in the 80,s proper cars , lovely collection , Ford in the day nothing better 👍
Thank you,the Capri was a really nice original example to start with so it certainly helped with the restoration.
Just a fab collection of Classic Fords 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Incredible collection, lucky lucky man😎
Yes he really is a lucky man to have all these beautiful cars

I remember the Rally car, from the Promenade Stages if I’m correct.
That’s right he was a regular at the promenade stages
droooooooooooool!!
No cortina?
RS2000s normally run the SOHC Pinto lump?
Correct @philtucker1224,rs2000 runs a 2.0 pinto and the mk2 Mexico runs a 1.6 pinto

Probably had a number plate change since then or exported for a collector overseas..
@@SCClassics2022 it's actually 24yrs later and not 14yrs when this log book was generated.

❤❤️❤️❤️😍💯👀
No s1 rs turbo…the ultimate white Ford 🤔
No sadly no S1 in the collection, the owner of these cars did toy with the idea of a S1 but decided to go with the 3 door cosworth instead.
Those people who drive on the wrong side of the road again!!😂
🤣🤣where are you based @dalehall2993?
We started driving before you had roads 😂😂
Tarmac was invented in Britain by a scot😮 that’s what the road is made of🏴✌️🤪
