The only day I was really disappointed with tokens was the day when there were just three as it felt a bit shoddy compared to other days. Understandable, and obviously what is required to play, but I still felt they could have slipped those three tokens in with another day's tokens and given us one more nice thing. Overall though, it's been a decent mix of stuff.
Ha. Yeah that one is slightly off, but it's really only noticeable once I zoomed right in, and it's not like the tokens I have seen in other games where bits of the art are clipped off.
If it was me, I would have designed a game to use as few tokens as possible and if there had to be tokens either give them all at once or put them inside the box where the rules are.
It's not too bad - four sets of tokens and two sets of dice, the rest is all plastic. I knew the calendar would contain tokens and dice as they clearly showed that on the packaging, and I don't think the ratio is off. That said, I do think the day we got three tokens was a poor show, as those tokens could have been shifted into another day with something else; and it's definitely not quite as exciting to unpack a couple of pieces of cardboard!
That poor door! 😂
And I had been doing so well not completely destroying the calendar!
@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring your enthusiasm will not be contained!! 😁
Rat tomorrow? Can’t wait. Those are the best days.
I think it will be a rat tomorrow, because doors 20 and 21 are big doors, and I am sure day 24 is the hero character.
At least they put in more than a token effort. _badum-tss_
Absolutely. It could have been a chit effort.
I was actually shocked by how happy getting tokens today made me. Feels more like getting a game rather than getting a collection of minis.

Flips it over and it's off center. Mostly, mostly.

i’m really curious how tgis game plays after all the opening.
I'll go through the rules on the 24th.
You had better watch Wallace & Gromit on xmas day then, instead of a bad movie 😅
It's not Christmas without Wallace and Gromit.
