Standard and nothing unusual about that configuration. The air is automatically less dense and more saturated during the summer months due to humidity, so less lift will be required for takeoff. But flaps 2 is standard t/o config at JetBlue for takeoff... I would understand your comment if they only used slats for takeoff (1+F) but other than that, flaps 2 and flex t/o power as shown here is standard takeoff config.
@@nikos9711 for real? they did no do 1+F which is the standard a lot of people would not understand if i would had written the technical part like you did, we do configure the a320 for TO in some airports on flaps 2 due to company regulation on FLEX, any way have a good one
@@Rsantana380 Lol I hear you brother! It is all variant on the company. It's very cool to see how dynamic the A320 is in terms of how other companies operate it. Here at jetBlue, our standard T/O config used almost 95% of the time is FLEX & flaps 2 (adjust T/O trim as needed). I can't actively recall the last time we did a 1+F takeoff but it happens from time to time. If we bring the A321 out of Burbank for a trasncon to Kennedy for example, we cap the load of the airplane safe enough for takeoff given how short the runway is over there, and it is always a TOGA flaps 3 takeoff (contaminated runway or not). Have a good one man!

This aircraft was probably one of the aircraft they equipped with sharklets. I know they did this with another A320 I don't remember seeing with sharklets.
I love PR. I am usually in Puerto Rico every few weeks. My lovely island!! I enjoy it and there's a lot to do. For those who love nature and for those who like nights out. I suggest a PR visit sometime during someone's lifetime!
its nice in my place, aguadilla, tho I always go to boston on a320s on jetblue from SJU, but I go through the aguadilla airport everyday. Even though we got hit by Maria, everything is pretty much back to normal.
I was in the cockpit of this beauty when I was flying her from CHS-JFK she is amazing and I'm proud to see her do her job.
