We took Jet Blue from Lax to Palm Beach. Great airline, super service. The return trip when changed to Southwest at St. Louis. Southwest is a joke. Will never flr them, again.
Have they drastically reduced SJU flights after last year's hurricane? I was just looking at schedules this summer from BOS and JFK and it they seemed to have fewer flights than during previous summers.
I think they have. Hopefully, increasing back in frequency soon since the island is starting to get tourism numbers back to where they were. =)

WE CLAP DUE TO TRADITION SINCE 1955 WHEN PAN AMERICAN WORLD AIRWAYS USED TO OPERATE THE SUPERCONSTELLATION FROM ORIGINAL SAN JUAN AIRPORT WHERE IT USED TO DEPART FROM ISLA GRANDE. FLIGHTS USED TO DEPART ISLA GEANDE AT 10P.M. APPROX ARRIVING JFK APROX 06:00 A.. WHICH IT WAS CALLED BACK THEN IDELEWILD INTERNATIONAL . FLIGHTS WERE RED EYES AT NIGHT SND EXTREMELY BUMPY AND ONCE IT LANDED AT IDELWILD AIRPORT PUERTO RICAN PASSENGERS WOULD CLAP THANKING THE COCKPIT CREW FOR THE SAFE JOURNEY AND FOR GREAT LANDING. TODAY WE CLAP BECAUSE WE ARE HAPPY THAT WE ARE BACK HOME, CHRISTMAS , NEW YEARS, ETC. I FIND IT WONDERFUL THAT PUERTORICAN PASSENGER KEPT THIS TRADITION SINCE FLYING TODAY IS VERY STRESSFUL. SO PLEASE WHEN YOU ASK WHY WE CLAP, DON'T USE THE WORD HELL, WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR THE BEAUTIFUL FLIGHT AND WE MADE IT SAFELY DUE TO THE GREAT COCKPIT CREW. WE WENT THRU 9/11 AND LOTS OF OTHER THINGS. can some one explain to me what that sound is at 2:12 POP sound before the engine starts up ive always wondered what that is? Im assuming it could be linked to the apu when the flight deck hits the engine start button?

At the beginning I heard that sqeaking/ barking noise and I recently flew to Cleveland and we heard that same noise so I'm thinking it was a dog
That's the PTU (Power Transfer Unit)! I love that sound on start up and shut down. Funny thing .. the noise is also known as the "barking dog" noise because that's what it sounds like. I hope you had an awesome Cleveland flight.
