I've said it before and I'll say it again, but the combination between great, inspiring builds, little tid-bits of interesting information and the odd dad-joke here and there really makes your vids an absolute pleasure to watch!
Jesus the combination with your other terrain makes this possible the greatest Necromunda table ever built. I'd love to see a battlereport done on this table! Nice work Eric!
Fun fact. The pink building is Paul Smith. A fashion designer from Nottingham, where Warhammer was created. It’s the city that keeps on giving. Love your work and your channel Eric. Bless you 💛
Here in the UK we usually just call the kind of chipboard you find on the back of pads of paper "cardboard", in everyday use. If you want to actually buy something like it from a supplier without having an annoying conversation about exactly what kind of cardboard you mean, then it's "greyboard". We don't have "legal pads" though, we use sensible paper sizes over here like civilised people. :P (Note I said *like* civilised people. Don't get me wrong, the UK population barely qualifies as civilised.)
duuuuude hyped to see that finished titan! I've been keeping up with it since you posted so can't wait to see what you've got. keep up the amazing work
As wonderful as new terrain kits are, there's something really rewarding about using rubbish in an innovative way like this. All the different ways to make pipes could have been an entire video all on its own. Really enjoyed the use of colour in this too, proving you can have bright colours and keep it grimdark. As always, genuinely inspirational content.
One of my favorite builds you've shown us has been the smoke stack shanty town. And I've been dying to see more like it. This has blown it out of the park, Looked absolutely amazing!! Thanks for taking us along for the ride!!
The shots of all your sets together feels like something you would find in an old White Dwarf. Just an absurd, realistic slice of Necromunda that you can only marvel at, wondering how the mad genius did it. Thankfully, we get to see how the sausage is made!
Ever since I first saw your underhive shanty town video like, six months ago, I've been waiting for another build that scratches the same itch, and MAN is this it. That is one hell of a hive stack, man!
i watch a lot of guys make stuff on youtube. but theres very few who have a vibe where i think "man he'd be cool to just kick it with" truly i hope your channel grows even further man, youre one of the good ones
As always, Eric is doing something mesmerizing with his terrain skills and narrative telling inside of it. The only thing felt left behind is some kind of utility lights sources. That's totally awesome already, but I personally think some imitation of a light bulbs here and there would make this piece even more convincing and immersive. New frames need analyzing; click Analyze.
With all the prior builds put together, it really seems like it was all built deliberately together from the beginning of the channel. A magnificent centerpiece of terrain!
A Mazing!!! I was thinking about making it more variable and different every time and then you added the other pieces of terrain... I was O.o Beautiful job there! ;)
This looks wonderful, capturing the iconic verticality of necromunda. I like how much less bulky the stairs you used. This will be a real delight to use in games and to take photos!
Wow! After seeing those pink buildings, I feel closer to the citizens of the 41st millennium than ever. Truly, we live in a time of unparalleled horror. Well done on the board, sir!
Sweet! This really proves that bright color and grim-dark are not mutually exclusive. In fact the colorfulness really accentuates the Grim-dark aesthetic.
The most impressive piece of terrain you"ve ever made! At the same time gigantic and full of details and life. The fact that is all from scratch is what I prefer, it makes me think like I could do the same !
seriously my most favourite piece of terrain i have ever seen. this wants me to start necromunda and also building terrain, even though I have zero space for either atm. i really wanna loose myself again in an never ending orgy of tabletop madness! Thank you eric for this one! love it so much!
Yeah this is great. I'm so glad to see the full vid after that tantalising couple of pics in the discord. That an interesting piece of foam started all this was such a familiar feeling
Eventually Eric will build so much hive city terrain that an actual tiny chaos cult will take over the forgotten sublevels. Then he'll need to hire tiny inquisition agents to delve into what was once his basement and save the day.
Very nice build, your Necromunda content is top notch. I also like the models you showed in the end, an interesting mix of old and new ones and some inspiring kitbashes.
Holy, holy that was good. I just want to wander those stairs and tunnels and get to know the neighborhood! You had me from the first piece of foam; that pillared circle looks like an art deco train station but you made it even cooler. Congrats
In my opinion this is one of the best build you ever showed on this channel ! I loved the attention to details with the posters, the hanging wiring and the pipes... Really great work you did there. I can't wait for whatever you have to show in 2023 !
The feeling I got watching this video reminded me of when I was a kid with no money to buy any tabletop stuff. I still loved to pour through codexes and look at terrain and wonder how they built it though. Thanks for giving me that joy again!!
It took one Google search for Imperator Titans, a link, two videos, about forty minutes, and that joke about featureless pink buildings to secure my subscription. I didn't know I would find this gem of a channel, but I'm glad I did!
This is like your cyberpunk build that had the chemical pool and the desert fort combined I loved those places. What a massive and impressive piece. Funny that I was about to comment on the absence of the Titan and you addressed it as well.
I struggle consistantly with my motivation to paint miniatures. Sometimes I look at them and I just think it's all stupid and pointless and why waste my time. And then I see things like this and I can't feel anything other than "this is the coolest shit in the whole world." It does a lot to help me not give up on my hobby.
Absolutely incredible!! I love the corrugated iron and the “spot of rust with drips” technique is stunning!!!! Soo convincing. OMG when you added your other previous builds at the end it looked like the lower level of a big city!!
Phenomenal! I'm always put off by using cardboard and styrene, but then you see the final product here and it looks straight from some late 80s sci-fi movie! Id love to play on a board like this, so many different routes and options.
I literally checked your page this morning cause i thought it had been a while since we saw a video from you. Great build as always. Love seeing the Necromunda and Mordheim content on your channel.
This is the business! Perfect inspiration for an activity that the Wee Man and I can tackle over the long weekend that we have coming up - thanks MC Easy On The Eyes-E, you're the bom-diggitty!
Amazing build. Two things you missed though: 1. Old posters with faded/washed-out text/colours 2. LIGHTS! Some neon lights here and there would really make the place feel alive.
This right here sells me on Necromunda more than anything. I love the elaborate game boards that are art pieces themselves and just imagining playing in those is just amazing. Now I need to convince my friends to try this instead of 40k
wow, probably my favourite build of yours so far! those signs add so much character. the only thing i think would make it even better would be graffiti everywhere! :D
Firstly, in the UK we call it hardboard. Secondly, thank you for the great content, your one of the reasons I got back into the hobby. Keep up the awesome work.

I think he was talking about Craigslist.

The ripper Jack's sign is my favourite part of the entire build
Im pretty pleased with that too! It turned out awesome
Jesus the combination with your other terrain makes this possible the greatest Necromunda table ever built. I'd love to see a battlereport done on this table!
Nice work Eric!

Love your work and your channel Eric. Bless you 💛
No way! Thats awesome haha
(Yet thanks to an infamous Sheriff it was the city that kept on taking... until Robin that is😊)

I hear you. I get grief for speaking in whole sentences and not using text terms.
Really appreciate how this doesn't rely entirely on 3d printing
I’ll never grow tired of these necromunda style Builds you do Eric . They inspire me every time you upload
awesome, a new Necromunda terrain video from Eric was just what I needed for today :) All the best for 2023, Eric, keep up the great work!
Thank you, all the best to you for the new year as well 😊
duuuuude hyped to see that finished titan! I've been keeping up with it since you posted so can't wait to see what you've got. keep up the amazing work
Its not close to finished, but i am really stoked to show the progress
As wonderful as new terrain kits are, there's something really rewarding about using rubbish in an innovative way like this. I love when you are making necromunda terrain and this is your best build to date, awesome.
One of my favorite builds you've shown us has been the smoke stack shanty town. And I've been dying to see more like it.
This has blown it out of the park, Looked absolutely amazing!! Thanks for taking us along for the ride!!
AAAWWWW. Love it. The mix of elevation, poured concrete with a touch of ArtDeco arched style, shantyville colours and metal. Perfection.
The shots of all your sets together feels like something you would find in an old White Dwarf. Just an absurd, realistic slice of Necromunda that you can only marvel at, wondering how the mad genius did it. Thankfully, we get to see how the sausage is made!
Not enough hazard stripes or toxic sludge to be in 1990s WD though!
We have to see all your Necromunda boards put together for a giant gangfight/Darktide photoshoot
these videos are so chill and you can see the improvisation and raw creativeness take shape on video. Oh btw great video description.
So much detail in such a large footprint. I love this terrain so much Eric! So many stories can be developed here.
It works so great as a backdrop for a necromunda table! Gives the impression of the hive city stretching on forever
Ever since I first saw your underhive shanty town video like, six months ago, I've been waiting for another build that scratches the same itch, and MAN is this it. That is one hell of a hive stack, man!

When you combined it with the other underhive terrain my mind went >BOOM
One can always feel your joy for the hobby very strongly in every video keep up the vibe
Aw thanks, glad that comes across
Eric is the new bob Ross. It's the kind of ASMR I listen to to relax
The best part of working in an office… being able to watch Eric’s Hobbywork shop
That's absolutely stunning man! Hive city's are my absolute favoure part of the lore, it's just such a dystopian hellhole.
It was so fun watching the camera go from one end to the other
awesome awesome awesome build.. Dammit Eric, can only hold so much inspiration at a time!
Man, seeing it combined with your other builds is AMAZING! What I would give to play at your table~
Wow! After seeing those pink buildings, I feel closer to the citizens of the 41st millennium than ever. Truly, we live in a time of unparalleled horror. Well done on the board, sir!
The sign hanged by chains feels so real thats amazing! Inspiring video!
The posters and signs added such life into this little world, and loved how much fun you seemed to have making them.
seriously my most favourite piece of terrain i have ever seen. this wants me to start necromunda and also building terrain, even though I have zero space for either atm. i really wanna loose myself again in an never ending orgy of tabletop madness! Thank you eric for this one! love it so much!
Eric starts enormous build projects like I start armies. A true gamer spirit.
The Super Soaker 50 was legendary. Everyone I knew in Australia in the mid 90’s had one of those babies.
Truly a classic indeed
O.M.G! The creativity on this build is amazing! I loved the signs and details... those are what make any build special! Awesome Job Eric, as always!
gotta be one of my fav videos yet man. reminds me of some of the art direction from necromunda and darktide
Been looking forward to this one and it did not disappoint. LOVE the signs you made so much :)
You have outdone yourself mister, this board is amazing and I love the fact you have gone back (at least a little) to your roots.
I love that idea for building the angled pipe with foam and then filling with plastic wood.
As a brit, I found the crisp jokes hilarious. Well done on the build, looks amazing
Yeah this is great. I'm so glad to see the full vid after that tantalising couple of pics in the discord. That an interesting piece of foam started all this was such a familiar feeling
Glad you liked it! It was a long time coming
I love your sense of humor and the delightful historical tidbits you throw in occasionally.
💥💥💥Whoa! This ROCKS! Inspiring work right here! 💥💥💥
13:08 I really like having a walkway in the middle of the tunnel like you did there - it makes it feel like a useful, real place
You're an inspiration Eric, amazing work here, and can't wait for the next update!
Love it, feels so cozy
"Sensual Spackle Massage" could be a channel name, lol.
3 minutes in, and this is already EPIC. Always awesome, Eric!
Thanks! My collection has been slowly growing and its pretty cool now
The "chipboard - crisp board" killed me lol! Great job
Eric! I love watching you build these projects! I really think you understand the 40k Zeitgeist and you build such coooool projects.
Holy, holy that was good. I just want to wander those stairs and tunnels and get to know the neighborhood! You had me from the first piece of foam; that pillared circle looks like an art deco train station but you made it even cooler. Congrats
That is absolutely insane! And as a Brit, I greatly appreciated the numerous "crisp" puns.
In my opinion this is one of the best build you ever showed on this channel ! I loved the attention to details with the posters, the hanging wiring and the pipes... Really great work you did there. I can't wait for whatever you have to show in 2023 !
You make the best necromunda terrain. Your random build phase and weathering stages are second to none!
The feeling I got watching this video reminded me of when I was a kid with no money to buy any tabletop stuff. I still loved to pour through codexes and look at terrain and wonder how they built it though. Thanks for giving me that joy again!!
Sick!!! Your Necromunda terrain is what got me into the game! Thank you
You know it's gonna be another great project when video's started with "see this?"
Hahaa 100%
It took one Google search for Imperator Titans, a link, two videos, about forty minutes, and that joke about featureless pink buildings to secure my subscription.
I didn't know I would find this gem of a channel, but I'm glad I did!
This is like your cyberpunk build that had the chemical pool and the desert fort combined I loved those places. What a massive and impressive piece. Funny that I was about to comment on the absence of the Titan and you addressed it as well.
LOVE IT!!! This really gives me the vibes I want in a Necromunda board. An amazing build.
There's some absolutely killer tips and tricks dispersed throughout this video. Awesome and I can't wait to see where you take this setting.
Super nice. I am talking up a campaign with my local game club. Nice timing for this video
Absolutely incredible!! I love the corrugated iron and the “spot of rust with drips” technique is stunning!!!! Soo convincing. OMG when you added your other previous builds at the end it looked like the lower level of a big city!!
One of my favorite 40k scenery builds ever
I was having a bad day....thank you so much Eric for making it better with this awesome video ❤
I gotchu bro ❤️
@@EricsHobbyWorkshop wow! You're the man! Also, how do we send you gifts? I have a model for you.
Phenomenal! I'm always put off by using cardboard and styrene, but then you see the final product here and it looks straight from some late 80s sci-fi movie! Id love to play on a board like this, so many different routes and options.
WOW. The Ripper Jack's sign is next level. Love your work. So inspirational
Amazing as usual! A real HUGE step up from the smaller shanty section you built months ago (which I still hella love!)
I literally checked your page this morning cause i thought it had been a while since we saw a video from you. Great build as always. Love seeing the Necromunda and Mordheim content on your channel.
Great piece man! This is a fantastic backdrop
Sandwich walkways - the return of food analogies ❤ best wishes for 2023!
This is the business! Perfect inspiration for an activity that the Wee Man and I can tackle over the long weekend that we have coming up - thanks MC Easy On The Eyes-E, you're the bom-diggitty!
I love all your videos but this?! Spectacular work!!
Never apologise for doing stairs sensibly Eric! The ones that people do so models can be wedged into them always look wack 😆 yours are superior!
the ripper jacks martini logo!!! the best!!! crazy cool build, so cool so cool
Amazing build. Two things you missed though:
1. Old posters with faded/washed-out text/colours
2. LIGHTS! Some neon lights here and there would really make the place feel alive.
This right here sells me on Necromunda more than anything. I love the elaborate game boards that are art pieces themselves and just imagining playing in those is just amazing.
Now I need to convince my friends to try this instead of 40k
Epic, can't wait to try something similar!
I love this so much. I can see all the thought that went into the colour choices. It really paid off
I am always amazed, how you get the Hive city alive in your builds. Happy new year.
I love that it says "reasonably fresh"
wow, probably my favourite build of yours so far! those signs add so much character. the only thing i think would make it even better would be graffiti everywhere! :D
By the throne! Eric, truly impressive piece you have there. It looks so good. Very well done!
"Crisp-board." Ha! Very amusing.
😎 🇬🇧
Astonishing work! Just incredible! Wow!!
Would love to see a terrain showcase of all the necromunda bits you’ve made together in one big hive city!!!
This video makes me want to go all-in on Necromunda. Such an awesome build.
Incredible build Eric. Some dark part of me actually considers living in one of those hovels! The whole thing reeks of backstory.
Firstly, in the UK we call it hardboard.
Secondly, thank you for the great content, your one of the reasons I got back into the hobby. Keep up the awesome work.
Absolutely brilliant. So much fun to watch and what an amazing piece to own and play with.
I watched you transformation on the corpse grinder cult a while ago, and after that me and my friends have been obsessed with necromunda
Awesome! I haven’t looked at those models much since that video, but i was playing around with them last night…they’re really cool, i had forgotten
