@@PartisanGamer it's difficult to explaim for shareholders that franchize depend on fight of Marines with xenos. If they will make only sales of marines, there would be No xenos at all...
You can't use a character like him too much, though, or he's just another guy in the wasteland. Frank's the final combat encounter in F2, for one, and it would be anticlimactic to meet and potentially kill him earlier. Frank's great, anyway. Nothing says "Enclave hypocrisy" like a Super Mutant that hates mutants and refuses to acknowledge that he's a mutant. You'd laugh at him, except he's also big enough to kick you like a football and angry enough that he'll do it.
@@Ninjat126 it isn’t hypocritical for the Enclave to use Frank. They use other mutants such as deathclaws or wastelanders to do their work. They’re useful tools. Frank’s life likely wouldn’t have extended much further past the purification of the world if the Enclave had won.
I just played fallout 1 and 2 for the first time few months ago and man are they great. New vegas was my favorite game in the series but was pretty much instantly dethroned by Fallout 2,it would be really neat to see a brand new Fallout in the isometric style.

You should try and get your hands on those DOOM minis that came out in 96 and paint them. I wish I still had mine, but lost them 20 years ago in a move.
Yes, the spray is really, really fine so the Agrax Earthshade paint doesn't stick as well and 'slides' off the spray. We have found applying by hand will allow the shade to stick better, especially for the look we were going for here 😊
Can you do a video where you paint skavens? I started paint warhammer again today. last time painted warhammer i was very young and didnt know how to do hahah.
I've had this model for like a month now and been waiting to paint it till I restocked on paints like I did yesterday. Weird timing for this to come out.
hey, just picked up some wasteland warfare minis, i didnt know about them until i saw this video! Do you have any videos in the academy for ncr or maybe planning to do more wasteland warfare minis in the future?
I have two questions - after you were dry brushing the metal armor with leadblecher in the circular motion you went back to tidy up the corvus black on the body suit - what benefit was there to paint the body suit before drybrushing? If we are inevitably going to have to clean up the Corvus black why not wait until the dry brushing "Messiness" was finished? Lastly - I see most people swearing by washes such as Army Painter or Citadel (whomever you like) but I notice when I use either a black or brown wash on a model it dries as if there was a coffee staining effect on my base colors - am I going too heavy or am I not watching the pooling closely enough?
Excellent as always. I've personally went with colors closer to the palette used by Fallout 1&2. If you wanna experiment and make the miniature pop out a bit more, go for a more yellowish ground on the base (personally I've went with a mix of Averland Sunset, Ushabti Bone and Stormvermin Fur if I recall correctly, it's been few months). For the Deathclaw, go with the reddish-brown that goes even into orange hues. I recommend basing it with Mephiston Red and then playing around with Evil Sunz Scarlet, Seraphim Sepia and Verminlord Hide+Golgfag Brown for drybrushing. Just a friendly tooltip, it is fun to paint and the combination looks great if you just mess around and have fun.
Just a question to clarify something. Wouldn’t it be better to prime it in Leadbelcher (or equivalent) in the first place? Would there be any noticeable difference if you’d do pure Leadbelcher rather than MSG -> Leadbelcher? And lastly couldn’t that Leadbelcher coat be applied via can or airbrush since you’re covering the whole thing anyway? Thanks, and great stuff as always!
There is an argument for that as we said in the video but in order to get the result we wanted (weathered armour etc) we have found that applying it by hand gives a more grainy surface so that the Agrax Earthshade sticks to it far better which is needed for the end result. Leadbelcher is such a smooth spray that the Shade Paint just slides, almost beads off of it simply due to how smooth the spray paint undercoat is. If you are going for a shiny metal look then yes, an undercoat spray would be perfect then we'd just add a recess shade to add definition 😊 Hope that answers your question.
