Fallout is great. I love post-apocalyptic stuff. Anytime I'm painting up stuff for This Is Not A Test I always make sure to add some dirt and rust. It's just a fun part of the process.
Oooooohhhh yeeeeeaaaaaaaassssss As a bit of a classic fallout fanboy this is one of my favourite designs for any power armour. This is just my cup of Nuka
I love this special episode. LOL. Some people. Love the paint scheme and the miniature and as always learned something new. Thanks for sharing what you do.
You've done a fantastic job man! I've been needing inspiration to get back into painting and this video is just what I needed, going to get started on my Brotherhood squad
The trick is going to be in making sure it's got a different name each time! Although it does give me something to look forward to and have some fun in the editing process. ;D
wow man so good! i have another 20 guard infantry assembled and ready to be sprayed with zandri dust! but i threw my back out so im taking a break until im better wish me luck healing great video as usual!
@@SonicSledgehammerStudio thank you so much i just cannot believe how much focus you have making these videos there are so many and they are all phenomenal you are so inspiring to watch have a great day!
I've ordered a 9 inch T60 print that I'm so excited to make a diorama of. Thanks for taking some of the guess work out. If anyone has any advice for painting large scales I'd appreciate it, I've only ever done minis.
It's one that'll take a little time to get to, but very much in the 'eventually' pile. If it helps in the meantime, I've done Napoleonic British troops and there's a good 200 year or so period where the advice is basically the same across almost all British soldiery.
Great tutorial, not that complex of a paint scheme and theoretically could be used on more than just T-51 power armor, it could be used on other versions of power armor or even space marines
The smaller brush is a Character brush from Army Painter. If you're getting an issue with bristles splitting while you're painting, just lift your brush away and draw a line on your palette with it, 'twirling' the brush in a little paint. You'll find it helps drag things back together. Rinse your brush regularly while you're painting to keep paint from drying in the bristles, too; it doesn't have to be constant, but after every few minutes on a warm day just rinse it out, get some more paint and carry on.
Vault Assisted Talent Sauce, that had me cracking up.......lol
I have to admit, half the fun of editing these things now is coming up with something goofy for Agrax Earthshade's title card. XD
Fallout Wasteland Warfare is a fantastic game - go for it, the minis are great and you will love painting them. Especially the Mirelurks and Robots...
In my mind the best video game of all time. Still playing it all these years later. Nice mini, nice paint job, nice video 👍
As good as in game armour, thanks for this as a massive fallout fan this was a grand change
Thanks, man! I had some in-game model sheets I was working from to try and keep the colours consistent, so I'm really glad to hear it looks right.

Well, now you've got what you need to get out there and recover that water chip, right? ;D
absolutely inspiring! imma go paint now
Always plenty of reason to crack out the paints and brushes! :D
Totally going to poach the colour weathering for some blood bowl armour and looks amazing, thanks
The figure looks very interesting and your painting techniques really brought out the best in it. Thanks for sharing this.

Ha! Takes all kinds, right? 😅 Much obliged!

I do love fallout, and this fella looks fantastic
Thank you!
Seeing the final product and then how many light colors you used to base coat was really cool.
Starting light can still take a bit of getting used to when it comes to something you know is going to be a grimy off-white!
"painting miniatures, painting miniatures never changes" is what I'm gonna start saying now X3
Excellent video as always! And I just love how you have a different name for Agratx Earthshade! 🤣 Just hilarious 😆! Cheers 🍻

ring-a ding ding baby
Ain't that a kick in the head!
I prefer making my own bases as well. Awesome video!🤘
I'm always excited for the rust stage. Yes, all my miniatures have rusty metal. Even space marines should look like rusty tractors.
Thanks for another great video. Really liked how you got the rusty fallout look 👍🏻
Cheers! I'm honestly really pleased with how close to in-game it looks with so little work.

Oofh! All the best, dude. I've done my back in once before and it's no fun. Good luck, and feel better soon.

Fantastic job! So game-accurate.
Man I love your vids, so entertaining to watch.

Here's a challenge do another t51 suit but in either the nuka cola or vim pop paint schemes or do the xo1 armor in the nuka quantum paint scheme
That'd be one I'd take a shot at without the camera going, I think - I'd need a little more space to work to make that happen! 😂
Thank you ,Sonic .
Yeh , v nice , but what about when you has one of the alternate paint jobs from the game ??
Fallout 4 , Fanboy here ! Been here since Fallout ,done um all, (NOT 76, Tis carp !)
The alternates are a little outside my talent! Nuka-Cola's suit at the very least... though maybe the Atom Cats livery wouldn't be impossible. ;D
Thank you so much for this tutorial. You are a great teacher. Could you please tell me where you get your citadel paint from?
Fantasywelt.de most of the time. 😅
Love the tutorials, would you consider doing one for Anglo Zulu war British line infantry,I'm just getting into it a need all the help I can get lol

Man, wished I had a T-51 suit so I can use a resin printer in my studio apartment...
They don't stink half as much as people seem determined to make it sound, but an apartment might be pushing it! Better to stick to the kits, I guess!
sad. the stl link is gone.
Hi more great work i hope you can keep the high quantity videos thanks
I certainly hope to be able to, anyhow!
Great tutorial, not that complex of a paint scheme and theoretically could be used on more than just T-51 power armor, it could be used on other versions of power armor or even space marines
What in the goddamn!
Can you tell me what brushes you use for the detail painting, please? How do you keep such a fine point on them?

@@SonicSledgehammerStudio thank you for quick reply, and for a detailed explanation. I will follow your advice.
I couldn't help but notice your pot holder. Is that also 3D printed? It so, where can I download the file :D? Awesome video, as always!
Yup! I forget precisely which STL it was, but there's a ton of them on Thingiverse!
