It's not Dogmeat btw. In the show it's a female dog called CX404, played by Lana 5. I've just ordered the starter set, along with Lobotomy 2 and a few other bits; I won $300 store credit in the Modiphius monthly draw 😮
With the arm issue, you could either use a knife to make a cross hatch pattern on both of the contact areas before adding the superglue, or you could pin the arm.
Gorilla Glue Gel work the best in my opinion for resins. For really tough pieces you can do like you would for a plastic model and pin it and then glue it with Gorilla glue gel.
Thank you for showing me a darkskin painting technique. Ive seen some tutorials that only say that "just use leather color" but your mini came up beautifully
“Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time” Great video. All the colors turned out awesome. They really do pop & stand out well on each mini. Great job👏🏻. Sorry that one’s arm came off. Great editing by @AlchemicalRabbit. 💜⚔️
The ghoul. Just for the potential revenge arc when/if he finds his way in the vault “Thou shall get sidetracked with bullshit every god damned time” Wouldnt be a fallout if you didnt
Green stuff does not help parts stick together. Pin the arm and you will be fine I really like how you did the power armour. I have never considered using BalGrey than dry brushing tmm over top. Definitely stealing this idea.
Who is your favorite character from the Fallout TV series?
The dog, I think he is funny
Never seen the tv show, but I do like the look of the Ghoul in the pics & clips I’ve seen.

You are correct but Ghoul does call CX404 Dogmeat by the end of the series.

For the Modiphius resin miniatures, I almost always drill and pin the arms, using some fine brass rod. I use superglue as the adhesive.
I keep seeing pinning recommend. Where do you get the fine brass rod? A hard ware store? Craft store maybe?
@@HobbyNight If you can't find brass rod, steel paper clips should work for pinning as a cheap solution.

I’ve not tried that yet but I absolutely will.
Perfect- I posted this to the FWW Facebook group
Oh thank you! I really appreciate that!
@@HobbyNight Its a great painting guide and most of the response there has been positive (one or two weird mysoginistic comments I just blocked)

What glue are you using, did I miss it in the video?
I just used a standard superglue. If brand matters it was Loctite.

Thanks for the tips!

Your hands are so steady when you are painting those figures. My hands shake, which is so damn annoying!
Super glue and pin the arms.
