Ya know, there are tons of mob movies out there. But why they haven’t came out with a movie about this guy is mind blowing. That gas tax racket he had going was extremely interesting and he made millions for himself and the family.
Micheal best friend was the brains behind the gas bussinss racket his name was champagne larry micheal got him whacked stole the business from him .Deep throat came out in 1971 sonny never backed that film nothing too do with it michea Franzene is a fucking liar .
The reason they won’t make a movie about Michael Franzese is because he is a liar and a fraud.
@@MsTdougherty???
Explain what do you mean?
@@raidenarashikage The reason is Michael Franzeze is a liar and a RAT!
Would you make a movie about him without his permission?
MF has had one of the most interesting lives out of any currently living person. Billionaire, real deal gangster LCN and now youtube influencer. Wild.
Not even *remotely* close to accurate.
The guy's nothing more than a trust fund baby.
His dad may have been a legit legend, but he's a loser with no spine or self-achieved accomplishments.
Idk mike Tyson’s life is pretty damn interesting..
@@harrypatt7708IDK I feel like Tyson doesn’t really realize what’s going on around him 😂
@@jyates1007 he does more than many
@@harrypatt7708no where near MFs life. Mike Tyson was used by many in LCN. He was aware of it as well.
I love the way you use real footage and pictures of New York from these times it makes it a lot more immersive
Except this dude got every name wrong he could😂
😆
@dedo7326 😆
With as big a internet presence as michael has you'd think he'd pronounce the name right
It’s being read by AI. There’s no person behind the voice to pronounce it correctly
That was awesome !! Thank you for all the information.
I went "oh shit its him" when it clicked in the end ive seen his vids before. Didn't know he was THIS well connected
Sonny was the kinda guy gotti gleamed about when he said it’s cosa Nostra till I die sonny is the pure definition
Sony wife even said it before he went to jail
Now dats GANGSTA
How could he be mafia until the day he dies when he renounced it twenty five years ago?
@@my3kidzadaI think you are confusing sonny with michael
@my3kidzada Michael renounced it, not his father, Sonny.
This wouldve been better had michael narrated it
It’s like listening to a turtle speak
No, thanks.
the voice and pronounciation is sooo hard
😆
@@brandng6405 😆
The narrator kills these documentaries
Completley agree
This man ages like fine wine, that aside. He really is lucky in being able to live his life while many either die, or are in prison
That is what he says.
A college kid with mafia connections. The money Michael made is amazing.
Starting with Rosie and the originals for a song is gold
Profaci was a really good Boss and doesn’t get the respect he deserves…he was loaded up on the legitimate Business side of the Borgata similar to Joe Zerilli in Detroit…
Two of Profaci’s daughters would marry into the Detroit Partnership and a lot of the Zerilli/Profaci businesses are still around in NY and Detroit making their kids, grandkids and grandchildren ALL Millionaires💯
All these documentaries are so well made, I've watched quite a few now and there are very little mistakes and brilliantly put together
Neil Dellecroce being passed up by Carlo Gambino is the biggest crime the family committed in my opinion. New York would have changed with gotti as underboss he would never clip Neil.
I think you may be right. With Neil as Boss and John as Underboss, it would have went smoother and they would not have been so public. Then again, how long did Neil live after Carlo died?
What does that have to do with the Colombo family?
@@DannyDGeorgia Neil lived for another 9 years so plenty of time to continue steering the family like Carlo did
For as popular as Michael Franzese is- not much is really known about his life in the mob other than his involvement in the gas scam. I must have listened to hundreds of hours of him talking and couldn’t name one single guy in his crew.
And that's why he never got caught on tapes. He was careful. Learned everything from his dad and knew how to operate while flying under the radar
That’s how it should be.
More like, he was a front man, until he lucked into gas scheme. Then spread so much money around, they named him captain
@@williamrogers9004 front man for what dude? He was 23 years old and had one of the most infamous criminal fathers of all time. He wouldn’t be fooling anyone
@@williamrogers9004Front man for what? He was basically royalty in the mob
Michael took the oathe on halloween 1975. Not 1976
Books were not opened till 76 Michael says it was 75 but he also says the mob don’t deal in drugs
@@JokerX350 correct
@@JokerX350 "Also funny how you act like you know more about the life than someone who was active in it for more than 20 years."
ALL of the people who know the most about the mob are those who have never participated.
Not saying this guy is, but your suggestion is ridiculous.
Sorry Mike but you can't have been made in 75 the Books weren't opened until 76 Mike was a Coke fiend too, no drugs who is he trying to kid?
@@timsmith1323 @68majortom Stop this nonsense false narrative. They were opened in 1975, every source tells this including a lot of mob guys themselves and he was made exactly when he says. There's tons of proof of it.
i enjoyed this, thanks for posting
The history of the Colombo’s would look so different if Sonny had been an active underboss and on the streets all those years. Just think of how differently the third Colombo war would break out if Sonny was around. Hard to imagine it would have even started to begin with. Regardless- the pairing of Sonny Franzese and Greg Scarpa’s crew would be a formidable duo.
Until Scarpa revealed he was an informant for 30 years
@@jayvictus80 what’s that got to do with anything
Danm sonny had a wicked 5 o'clock shadow! I don't think I've ever seen one like it..
Thank you for the truth about Michael Franzes 😊 great documentary ❤
This was well done
Mike is a really good guy. And yeah. He might have been involved in some rough stuff in his early life. But really there was no victim. But the government and the government is the new age mafia. They got their hands in everyone's pockets at every corner. I respect Mike and he is by far my favorite monsir. The way carries himself and his beliefs. We need more people like that it's a dying breed
He’s very well-spoken and charismatic. That’s not the same thing as being “a really good guy.”
I understand that "the government robs us and can't be trusted and doesn't spend our tax dollars properly" but you do know that scamming and robbing the government of millions and millions of dollars is actually robbing taxpayers, aka regular Joe's too, right?
@@MrCBTman I feel the someway about TRUMP! They are both snakes!
its crazy mchaels father lived until 2020
All the ppl still glorifying the old Michael is sad didn't they listen to him after he left jail?
Sonny lived to be 103
These guys used to own a pizza joint where I live. I miss it, the pizza was awesome. The 80s were interesting, I was just a kid then.
You tend to gloss over some pretty important parts of the story. Like the extortion of teddy Moss by Gallo.
I think you got a couple of data items slightly incorrect, but overall, excellent presentation!
Should make a movie. Mafia Prince.
The mafia prince is Phil Leonetti
There is! It's called "God The Father".
He has a tv series in the making about his life right now
@@MaryMacGregor-xq8xlno doubt The Bull has something on the go, TV Series or Film?
that's who you speak bout wise guys.. real deal mobster.
Subbed. This was awesome 😎
Finally.......whoever is narrating this Podcast is pronouncing the "Franzese" family name correctly !
Sonny never drank alcohol ever according to his son Michael…
Reupload?
Yeah he got a copyright issue in the first upload
@@SymbiosisGames Then I will watch again to help

I really feel bad that Michael had to give up med school... But he did what he had to do... And didn't complain about it...
😂😂😂 yea sure!!!!
Yea he is very smart. He hade to have money stashed away someplace.
Sonny Franzese true legend off the mob a man's man pure wise guy RiP Sonny Franzese respect all the way Michiel Franzese your dad was a legend true
So we're told that Profaci wanted $25 per month per soldier...well 50,000 divided by 25 is 2,000. I have NEVER heard ANY NYC Lacosa Nostra Family having 2,000 Soldiers! ALSO..I think Michael Franzese would LAUGH at the notion his crew had 300 members. Crews are typically 25-35 guys!
look it up
@@axel-gk1ns look up what?
@@balancedactguy the size of his crew and he even said that he was a street boss
@@axel-gk1ns Oh...you're wrong!
Sonny's first wife was right about him living to be a 100 daiummn!
God must love prison ..A lot of people find him there😂😂😂
W O W I had no idea it was that heavy total respect for a prince of a guy
Don't quit your day job to risk it all on your judgement skills, OK? lol 🤦♂
Actually Norby Walter's was on his own using both Sonny and Michael's name to threaten clients. Sonny wanted Norby dead but Michael saved him on 3 occasions. And Michael's crew of 300 were not all made guys. He told them if they wanted to be made to go someplace else. If they wanted money stay. He also had the Russian mob in his crew. If all 300were made that would be a huge chunk of the total 750 made guys in all 5 families.
inb4 r/mafia complains about it being franzese again lmao
what?
I think Michael is still living off of his gas scam money. He had just slowly has been using it. Dudes smart.
He doesn't need to. He has made a fortune from his books, as a guest speaker, and his RUclips channel.
@michaell.8708 which is a front for the rest of the money. Come on. This is sonny's kid.
The narrator is AWEFUL! He sounds like he's about to break into tears at any moment. So mournful.
I like how you put the documentary in with the ads😒
Sonny looked great all the way into his 90s
I wish you had pronounce his name correctly. It is Franzees, not Franzeze.
Wrong sunshine..........the correct pronunciation in Italian is the way the narrator is pronouncing it !
The Italian 'E' is pronounced like an English 'A' so the Franzese name should be pronounced like Franzesaaaaayyyy spelled in English FYI !
I gotta give the man credit MF never snitch or ratted on his comrades only pleaded guilty to his own crimes, I know that is still against the rules of the society but still he went down with honour
He never flipped though or testified 💪👑🐐
How was Michael such a money maker but SONNY wasn't? Sonny was more a gangster than a rackateer. So does that mean SONNY didn't know how to rub 2 dimes together to make any money?
Michael was also fortunate he was offered the chance to do the gas tax scam. So also luck as well.
Danm he was a greedy bastard!
I don't get how/ why these people get so danm greedy! His greed really started a danm war! How the hell is that good for business!
It's no wonder why those types get whacked
Sonny really couldn’t catch a break. Ig that’s karma for being a gangster but damn still.
9 cents, Michael said he took down 25-40 cents on each gallon ,money pre Michael was 8-10 million
The gas scam was brilliant.
Except they got caught and it didnt last long
What’s the g funk song at the start

..............I like the gasoline hustle.. I also create rackets.. legal ones now..true entrepreneurs can spot loopholes in the system..sometimes it takes the system a while to catch up to these revolutionary minds ;) but it always ends the same way... co-opted or crucified or incarcerated.. took me over 20 years to fully understand that.. i grew up in a life of crime and without the choice of involvement in the underworld.. but then after losing almost EVERYTHING.. i had an epiphany about what TRUE brotherhood was.. what my truth was.. and WHY i felt trapped in that life for so long.. I am blessed and fortunate I was able to walk away without sacrificing my brothers, my values or my principals.. cost me EVERY penny and years of civil retribution though .. still worth the ride and the life lessons ..and most importantly.. a second chance .. no B.S check my scars if ya doubt ;)
Awesome footage and photos. Shame about the narration, though. 😶
Who do you think was keeping Ginny in butter brickle?
He become a recruiter 1973 via Michaels RUclips and his documentary
Everybody wanna call Michael a psycho but he he ain't never came through my hood with a rifle
Great research! Kudos...b roll is a little whack! No?
Michael Franzese 👍
Sonny just went along with the contract he would not been killed ,Michael said his star was to important to him and that why he went along with it
I always liked Mike a stand up guy and a good egg
oh and yeah the mispronunciations are brutal
Be interesting to watch an itialian listen to the way he pronounces names and see how long they can last before losing their tempers
Never heard some many names butchered so badly in one place.
“Bawdy” 🤔
Michel said colombo was one of the smallest families with 115 made guys
This could have been wonderful given the footage at hand but the monotonous voice made it impossible to watch on. Shame
There was no body by the name you used. So by using the wrong name it was very confusing but interesting
Michael was told not to attend his father’s funeral. And he didn’t.
Yeah now he sells booze on his church tours
Really?
I don't think I could take a video seriously when the maker pronounces the name of the person the video is about wrong. It's more like Franseees
Yeah i dont know liers are good at lying , but tor some reason i think Michael is on up and up today , but whata i know
Cut the music please 🥶
This is an interesting video. It covers a lot of information available through more popular videos, so it's kind of a free load of the mainstream videos like PBD and MF's own YT channel.
Bro you butcher these names dude
Fran-zees... not fran-sayzee.
£50.000 a month? I don’t think they had 2000 men coughing that up, they are a small family. Check your facts mate.🇬🇧
back in the day is was pretty normal actually
13:30 wouldn’t you know he lived to 103 lol
Just so you know I’m fairly certain his son was sober when he snitched lmao. I’ve been to meetings with him and that dude has I’m pretty sure over 2 decades.
John Jr was no good
Well he's wealthy god bless him 😊
The government did prove anything against Sonny if they didn't have corroboration...
Well done Sir

Michel himself sonny got made 1930s and if michael was not Sonny son he would know when background check was done before michael got made
All I know about the mob is they a bunch of snitches, all they do is talk about each other and shit they did. Self snitching for fame and avoid jail time
What kind of accent does this narrator have?
….. I ain’t allowed to say nothing….
Doing a documentary when you can pronounce his name correctly is wild.
