    The building in the video appears to have windows, but they are boarded up. Why would they do that?

    Not having a window is a little strange, but I can see greedy builders doing anything they can to make an extra buck. Same for the rental agencies

    In no way is it "like having a car without an engine". That'd be if you had a bedroom without walls, or a floor. A window is something you can have where you sleep, or not, as you choose.
    And while it does allow you to see outside and potentially offer an avenue of escape from threats inside the dwelling, it also provides people on the outside with the ability to look inside your home or even break in. Not everyone wants that, and I feel like it's a petty issue which does not warrant action by legislators. There are more important things they should be working on.

    Mental health is BS reason, not affording to pay the rent is a bigger issue...
