    Arizona time! Love it. My rating of time goes something like this: slowest - Africa time, next in line - Hawaii time, next in line - Arizona time. Then there is Seattle time which is not full pace fastest but too fast for my taste and I live in the area.

    What a great channel and an awesome family. My wife and I have been contemplating a travel trailer to explore with our 2 year old daughter and you have inspired us to take the plunge! You mentioned in one of your videos that you only get 18 summers with your kids and I want to make the most of them! We are from MA so Normandy Farms will likely be one our first excursions. Safe travels!

    We found Cape Cod to be a bit over-rated. It was quite congested. I thought it was going to be more of an isolated beach community but it seemed to be just another suburb of Boston. I also never saw so many traffic cops in my life anywhere. Every couple blocks there were cars pulled over getting written up. The Marconi Site was a novelty with some history and we toured several lighthouses along the way. The best thing about that day is the awesome tie-dye tee shirts we got at the local Ben & Jerry's that have a graphic of Cape Cod but say Cape Cow (people always stop us and ask us where Cape Cow is when we wear them). You may have gotten some ideas from watching our videos if you had a chance :-)

    You are zooming around the big, wide, world way too fast just like we did when we started out. There is so much to see and do in these places! We are trying to balance our travels so we can better explore an area but it is difficult! We are learning a lot from you about destinations and all the things to see and do. The tips are very helpful! Thanks so much! Safe travels!

    • @KeepYourDaydream
      @KeepYourDaydream  7 лет назад +1

      You couldn't be more right Jacky and Bo! 6 months was way too fast to cross the county and back. Practically a highlight tour. At the same time, we seem to accomplish just as little when we stayed in a single place longer. We ended up just using the extra time to catch-up on work and school. I think using BLM would help and we're looking into solar and other options for Season 3! Keep in touch.

    Dennis is my home town. You actually passed by my child hood home just 1/2 mile from Mayflower beach. Sorry go got so frustrated with the town it’s not really a fast in and out sort of place. Best to plan a minimum of a week or two on the Cape with a home base and take day trips. You should see all the neat little towns and Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, each island a minimum of a day each.

    Paul Revere never shouted the legendary phrase later attributed to him (“The British are coming!”) as he passed from town to town. The operation was meant to be conducted as discreetly as possible since scores of British troops were hiding out in the Massachusetts countryside. Furthermore, colonial Americans at that time still considered themselves British; if anything, Revere may have told other rebels that the “Regulars”-a term used to designate British soldiers-were on the move.

    Going back and watching your old videos because I've seen all the new ones lol every time that music would come on at about 11 minutes my 2 year old would stop whining and start groovin with me haha and then my 9 month old was getting in on the action. Yes we want to full time RV even with 2 2 and under. It's gonna happen soon! Thinking about getting the grand design reflection with a mid bunk for the babies.

      We gave up TV a few years ago. As a side note, I think that was the first step toward living a more adventurous life. Unplugging from the machine that has only consumer ideas :) Not that we don't watch TV at all, just not cable. We watch Netflix from time to time, but less and less now. Mostly RUclips which is real "reality tv". The boys still video game a lot on their computers. A platform called Steam. Way too much, but it keeps them entertained when there isn't a lot going on.

    The Battles of Lexington and Concord, fought on April 19, 1775, kicked off the American Revolutionary War (1775-83). On the night of April 18, 1775, hundreds of British troops marched from Boston to nearby Lexington, then to Concord in order to seize a colonial defensive arms cache. 77 Americans at Lexington fired the "shot heard 'round the world" that day.

      Unfortinatly, we didn't make it to the universities. I think in part because this trip has shown Tori that Arizona is a pretty cool statee :) and she'll likely go in state now. We wanted to take the opportunity to show her universities across the county and we have been to a few, but not as many as we planned. Amazing how busy we are... when we thought we would have all the time in the world! -Marc

    Sorry you didn't make it to Provincetown. I love that place! I'm not sure if Chatham is where The Black Dog is, but I'll tell you a funny story. I was there with my black lab, Ebony. We were in the store and Ebony got all excited to see this big stuffed toy black lab. She went up to its face wagging her tail and sniffing its nose... no reaction. So she goes to its underbelly wagging her tail and sniffing... no reaction. So then she went to under its tail sniffing its bum... no reaction! She didn't get that it was a stuffed animal! Everyone in the store watching her were killing ourselves laughing! My poor girl. Not the brightest light, but I love her even more for that! I love your Maddie. I'm missing her too.

Most of the folks in British North America considered themselves as British. George Washington was colonel in the British Colonial Army at the time of the action at Lexington. Pop quiz: how many colonies where there in British North America in 1776 ?

    Were you amazed at how small Paul Revere's house was? Doorways are short and everybody lives close. I love Boston. Yes, the Northend is amazing. I worked in that area from a few years as a security guard, of all things, when I was in collage. I love seeing all this. LOL! Welcome to Cape Cod. Go to Toro. It is at the tip and beautiful!!

    The duck tour is pretty great! I live here and did go on it once, so much fun i will do it again. if you ever come back here you should too. Also, you didn't go to provincetown!? All this way and you didn't go, That was a few more miles to see one of the, if not, the best part of cape cod. Again, next time. It sure is hard to do what your doing, watching this video made me cringe to see you two kind of getting on eachothers cases, but, it is what it is, . I just can't stop thinking of how you missed provincetown and the lower cape areas, there is a lot of dunes with white sand everywhere, and just beutifull landscapes just a few more miles down the road.
    not my buisness but / SLOW DOWN AND TAKE MORE IN!! YOUR MISSING IT!!

      All good points. Traveling full-time, we have gotten used to missing great spots. It just impossible to see it all unless we were empty nesters and traveling extremely slow. So we just do the best we can and move on to the next spot. We've also learned that the best things about travel is not the destination, it's the people and unexpected events that happen. We just spent the last hour with a guy fishing for sting ray with rocket propelled fishing line off the coast of Malibu, CA. Great time and has very little to with Malibu.

      We're heading the West Coast now to BC! We are going slower. Twice as much time to cover 1/4 the distance. The odds are in our favor to see more.

    I hope there comes a day when "travelers" dont worry about wifi and data so much. Every video on youtube .... wifi, data, boosters .... its sad. I just want to see some people walking around getting lost and asking for directions, or better yet, sitting in the middle of nowhere enjoying no wifi or data....lol. Great video, just a little rant and vent. Keep up the good work and safe travels.

      I appreciate your comments and agree with you that "wifi" can take away from the experience. On the the other hand, we're hardly ever lost, we typically always know exactly where to eat (and if the food will be good before hand) and it made this trip possible so I could continue to work and kids go to school. Where I see the problem, it people would rather be talking to their friends elsewhere instead of the people they are with. I think if Wifi remains a tool for travel... it won't take away from the trip. -Marc

      Dont mind me .. its probably my age lol. Work and school are def in need of wifi and data to get done. And to be honest, I dont know how many times Ive asked google to review food for me lol. I think I just need to accept that the days of a quarter in your pocket for a phone call, getting lost and asking for directions, and eating crappy food and saying "never again" and gone ... and thank god lol. ok, enough ranting for me. Time to charge my Samsung s5, pack up my macbook pro and head to starbucks for my coffee and netflix lol. (seriously) ... safe travels to you all and again, I really enjoy the videos!!

    Did you park for 18 dollars a day? Can you tell me where that parkingplace is
    ?

    • @KeepYourDaydream
      @KeepYourDaydream  7 лет назад

      Can't remember... we drove around the city and finally concluded that most of the parking garages were the same, so we ducked into a below ground garage and parked. There was lots to choose from. Parking was no biggie. It could have been more, but we didn't start the meter until lunch hour.
