ATC screwed up. Too much time pressure in busy airports nowadays.

It's clear the landing pilot avoided touchdown until the previous aircraft was airborne, then lowered his craft the last thirty meters a little 'hastily'.. else, he would have pushed hard up and move away on the side as recommended. 99/100! .. 1% for the critics!
I can't think of another possible safe landing like this...why this news when it's normal and safe ? Don't you uave any other news ?
This is quite dangerous and if the plane in front has to abort takeoff, then catastrophic collission can occur. Runway should be fully clear before the final approach and touchown.
Nothing unusual there exist a 60 to 90 seconds time interval rule during peak times. It all depends on why ATC has given clearance.

The landing 🛬 aircraft cannot land unless the runway is clear of any other aircraft , had the taking off aircraft rejected its take off run due to any technical reasons it would have been a catastrophe !
What if the Air India aircraft had to abort take-off for some reason?

We are trying to grow the quantitative way, not the quantitative way...because quantitative "money (dirty.)deeds", outsmart the stabbed "qualitative (fair and meritocracy)deeds" in any "P-L-A-C-E" where dirty deeds dominate over genuine people.
Perhaps, we have more planes and traffic than the infrastructure which can accommodate them.
Or the other airline seem to overstay on the runway, trying to accommodate and comfort " mostly political" VIPs on last call....just blame misdeeds of THE INFLUENTIAL or organisational failures and dirty politics, on staff without political fielding where cooked up stories and dirty propagada becomes "authentic intelligence" which all the fools around BUY!

All Indians should boycott Air India and Indigo, they are delaying scheduled flights, giving no importance to their customers, let alone thei passengers, and now close call on a crash on the same runway. What is wrong with these airlines? And NOW India's air traffic control?? Wake up people, use the railways, much safer now than taking flights. I will never fly on Air India and Indigo. They do not have their act together!
Railway is overcrowded. Even if you luckily get a reservation in A/C compartment, your seat will be occupied by 4 other unreserved ticket holders. Even the whole walkway will be crowded by people who don't have reserved tickets and the Whole A/C compartment will be hot and sweaty.
I don't see any danger here. One is taking off and another landing simultaneously. But for inexperienced Indian pilots and critics it might be very danger.

Are you out of your mind... Proper action deemed necessary will be taken according to the laid out rules... No rules says that any legal action to be taken until there is any accident involved...

If you or any of your relatives or friends have travelled by air and have landed safely..they should be thankful to ATC and pilot who are responsible for safety.

If the landing clearance was given by ATC for second aircraft it’s clearly ATCs mistake . But Indigo aircraft should have gone around too !
